Railways Ministry has said that there has been no fatality of any railway passenger in any train accident.
The remarkable feat has been achieved for the first time in the year 2019-2020 since introduction of Railway System in country 166 years ago.
The Ministry said, the zero passenger fatalities in the last 15 months is a result of continuous efforts by the Railways to improve safety performance in all respects.
It said, Railway has undertaken several measures to improve the Safety, including elimination of manned level crossings, construction of Road over Bridges, highest ever renewal of rail tracks, effective track maintenance and improvements in signaling system.
The Ministry said, record number of over 1,270 Manned Level Crossings have been eliminated in 2019-20 compared to 631 in last year. This is highest ever elimination of level crossings.
In order to improve safety 84 stations with mechanical signaling replaced with electronic signaling during 2019-20.
Highest ever renewal of rails for 5,181 Track kilometre took place in 2019-20 against 4,265 track kilometre in 2018-19.
The BJP today hit out at the Congress for making baseless allegations against the NDA Government over Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act-MGNREGA scheme.
In a statement, Party Spokesperson Syed Shahnawaz Hussain said that the Narendra Modi Government has even made the scheme more effective which is beneficial for the labourers.
He said, the NDA Government has increased the budgetary allocations for MGNREGA every year in comparison to the previous Congress led UPA government.
He alleged that the scheme was an epitome of corruption during the UPA regime.
Mr Hussain said, the NDA Government has allocated additional Rs. 40 thousand crore for the scheme in view of COVID-19 pandemic.
Big-bang model, widely held theory of the evolution of the universe. Its essential feature is the emergence of the universe from a state of extremely high temperature and density —the so-called big bang that occurred 13.8 billion years ago. Although this type of universe was proposed by Russian mathematician Aleksandr Friedmann and Belgian astronomer Georges Lemaitre in the 1920s, the modern version was developed by Russian-born American physicist George Gamow and colleagues in the 1940s.
The Big bang theory itself is the outcome of thousands of brilliant minds put all together in astronomy and cosmology cautiously for exploring the origin of our universe.
Let’s move back in time.13.82 billion years ago, what was there?

A point of singularity, extraordinary small and hot where no laws of physics were applied, the time has no existence, all four fundamental forces exist forming a unified force called super force suddenly exploded because of no reason.
”SOMETHING CAME FROM NOTHING”
In less than one second, gravity split off from the super force. Three minutes later, the temperature dropped to 10 billion degrees of Fahrenheit, an appropriate temperature for the formation of atoms to take place. Lighter element, hydrogen came into existence.

In 1965, Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson build a radio receiver which accidentally recorded echo or aftershock noise of big bang docking from everywhere and every corner of the universe. This was experimentally proved by NASA’S Wilkison microwave Anisotropy probe on 3 June 2001.
In February 2003, Cosmic microwave background provided a baby picture of our universe. Some of the major anomalies with the big bang theory were the unanswerable questions –
IS THERE SOMETHING OUT OF OUR UNIVERSE?
WHAT HAPPENED AT THE POINT OF SINGULARITY?
WHAT’S THE EXACT SHAPE OF OUR UNIVERSE?
HOW IS SPACE STRETCHING ITSELF FASTER THAN THE SPEED OF LIGHT?
WHAT WAS THE REASON BEHIND BIG BANG EXPLOSION?
Many alternate theories exist claming answer to these questions but none of them is experimentally verified. In 1980’s Alan Guth came up with the hypothesis of cosmic inflation i.e expanding universe which is now accepted as part of big bang theory.
If you want to never be happy or satisfied with your life, one great way to do that is to raise your expectations to an unrealistically high standard that can never possibly be met.
This is the essence of perfectionism. It’s the inability to be happy with something until it is perfect, without any flaws whatsoever. Of course, the problem with this mindset is that perfectionism is often an illusion.
Life rarely works out exactly the way we want, in any domain – whether it’s relationships, work, or goals.
And many times being more happy with your life requires that you let go of these expectations and learn to be more content with how things are, rather than how you picture they should be in an “ideal world.”
Many studies are beginning to show the many ways perfectionism can destroy your happiness.
Perfectionism leads to regret and dissatisfaction
In one study published in the Journal of Consumer Psychology, it was found that a “must have the best” mindset can magnify feelings of regret and dissatisfaction.
Psychologists are calling it the “maximizing mindset,” and it’s one symptom of perfectionism. We always seek to choose the best possible option in every given scenario, but that’s not always possible.
These findings are consistent with another recent study published in the Journal of Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavior Therapy that discovered perfectionism can lead to more “post-event rumination.”
This just means that after something happens to us, we are much more likely to continue to think about it and second-guess our choices. This makes it much more harder to let go of our past decisions, and especially our past mistakes.
Perfectionism hurts your relationships
The research continues to build on the negative consequences of perfectionism.
In another recent study published in the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, it was found that perfectionism can hurt our relationships as well.
Romantic couples who see their relationships as a “perfect unity” (“We are soul mates” or “We we’re made for each other”) are more prone to relationship problems than those who view their relationship as a “journey” (“We grow together” or “Look how far we’ve come”).
This makes sense. Every relationship is going to have problems we have to work through. But if you think you both are absolutely perfect for each other, then it’s going to be hard to accept and deal with the highs and lows of every relationship.
Often times, a more practical and realistic mindset prepares you for the inevitable road bumps in life. And it’s better to prepare yourself for reality than to live in delusion. Magical thinking is a big contributor to “perfectionism” that we should be more mindful of.
Perfectionism negatively influences your work
One of the most common effects of perfectionism is how it influences our work and personal goals.
In a study published in the Journal of Counseling Psychology discovered that individuals who have a greater tendency for perfectionism are also more likely to procrastinate.
When we have a perfectionist mentality, it’s really hard to swallow our pride and say “I’m done.” Instead, we find ourselves constantly changing things, tweaking every little detail, and working non-stop until we finally feel satisfied. Although we never do.
This is also consistent with another study on how perfectionism can lead to “workaholism,” an unhealthy drive to never stop working, which can often lead to more stress, fatigue, and burnout.
Perfectionism hurts your self-esteem and body image
According to a study published in the Journal of Eating Disorders, perfectionism can also hurt our body image and play a role in the development of eating disorders.
We commonly compare our body appearances to the “ideals” we find in movies, TV, magazines, and other forms of entertainment. This can lead us to set our own standards incredibly high, which will often lead to disappointment in our own bodies.
As you can see, perfectionism can destroy our happiness in many different areas of our lives. It’s an attitude that we have to be very careful of. Here are ways to think less like a perfectionist in your daily life.
How to let go of perfectionism Perfectionism is ultimately a mindset, so the best way to let go of it is to start building a new mindset toward life.
For many truly happy and successful people, they don’t have a perfectionist mindset – but a growth mindset. They understand that life is a process of ups and downs, and we are constantly learning and growing from these experiences.
Unlike the perfectionist, the growth-oriented person doesn’t see their happiness or success in any area of a life as a “fixed place.” Instead, it’s a never-ending journey.
Start thinking in a new direction:
“Mistakes are a normal part of everyday life.”
“Failure is often a necessary step toward success.”
“It’s not about being the best, but trying your best.”
“No single event in the past defines you. Move forward.”
“You’re always growing as an individual.”
“Focus on the bigger picture more than the details.”
“Your flaws and imperfections are what make you unique.”
“There are always new obstacles to overcome.”
“You accept the ups and downs in life with grace.”
Choose 3 of these self-affirmations that you like best.
Now, write each one down on an index card and place it around your home where you’ll see it frequently, for example: a mirror, a fridge, or above your bed.
For the next week, every time you see these self-affirmations, try repeating them to yourself 3 times each (either inside your head or out-loud to yourself).
This is just one small step in changing your thinking to a more “growth-oriented” mindset. With a little conscious practice, this way of thinking will begin to spread into your daily life.
Try one of these exercises
If you want to go one step further in overcoming your perfectionism, I challenge you to try one of the following exercises:
1. Just Complete One Goal Today
Assign yourself a small project, and just give yourself to the end of the day to finish it. It can be anything, the simpler the better: creating a new song or writing a poem. The point is to just do it, and not obsess over the final product. Give yourself permission to say, “It’s done!” without needing to second-guess yourself.
2. Try Failing On Purpose
Put yourself in a situation where you know you’ll fail. You’ll often find that failure isn’t that bad, and it often means you’re challenging yourself in a positive and productive way. Many times, you may even feel better about yourself for trying and failing, rather than never trying at all.
3. Practice Non-Judgment
Meditation is a great way to improve your mindset, especially when it comes to being less judgmental toward yourself and others.
Recent research shows that meditation makes us less reactive to negative feedback in life.
And another new study published in Psychophysiology discovered that mindfulness meditation can help “perfectionists” overcome their mistakes and failures faster, especially when they focus on the “nonjudgmental” element of meditation.
To overcome perfectionism, we have to ultimately learn to not be too hard on ourselves. Accept life’s imperfections while realizing they don’t take away the good and beauty out of life.
Embrace small progress. Embrace the small wins. Be patient with yourself. And keep putting your best foot forward. That’s all you can ever truly ask of yourself.
The basic reasons why reading is important is that it helps in the growth of of emotional, mental and psychological aspects of a human behaviour. Every book you read would give you an opportunity to learn new ideas and implement them in your day to day life. Reading not only makes you intelligent but also smarter. For an author, writing a book takes a hell lot of efforts and dedication. He passes through several pains to come up with a single book. As readers we gain years of experiences by reading them. Reading improves our focus and concentration. Many of us spent our time surfing through the internet, watching videos and reading unnecessary memes. This is the reason people are losing focus. Thus, reading is an effective way to gain focus back. It helps in the discovery of yourself. When you read a book, you connect to various experiences and emotions. This not only makes you engrossed into the books but also guides you to to act in particular ways when you face such situations in life.
Reading also leads to the improvement of your emotional health. While reading a book you encounter many emotions such as happiness, anger, sorrow, surprise etc. But at the end, we always wish our hero to win. Your memory is also enhanced as you come across many words which you need to remember. U tend to become more creative and self motivated.
There are many reasons to be listed that why one should read books on a daily basis. Now, here are the ways to develop reading habits:
The foremost step to start developing reading habits is to stop looking it as a chore. Start reading few pages everyday and steadily increase the number as you begin to enjoy the story. It will take time to be able read 500 pages at a stretch.
Choose your genre of books such as fiction, non-fiction, fantasy or biography. It is better to know your taste of reading first rather than getting them halfway done and leaving.
Start small. Reading short stories can be a a very good start for the budding readers.
It is not necessary to complete a book till the end if you are not not finding it interesting. You may better leave it if you think that the book is not worth of your time.
Don’t start reading a book having tough language. Obviously, you can take help of a dictionary but better start with those books which have simple vocabulary. Gradually you can move on to to reading such books.
Paper is no more exciting. You can read from Amazon’s Kindle having millions of books of various genre.
Read the books on a daily basis. Do not pressurise yourself if you don’t feel like reading a book for long hours. Start with reading 20-30 minutes daily and then gradually increase over time.
Try to read before going to bed. This would not only improve your mental health but also would provide you a sound sleep.
Read at quiet places where there are no disturbances at all.
You can also keep a short diary with you to make notes for further references.
As we all know that the whole earth is divided into two parts land and ocean, on earth around 70.9% of the water, and only 29.1% of the land. however, the ocean gives many things and it means a lot to us, it gives water, food, medicine, and the least goes on. the human also takes advantage of it.
However, nowadays the ocean is in danger because of the pollution and human traffic in the water, big industry and factories also omit their chemicals and wast, due to these the marine life are in danger and some spices are in endanger and many times the oil ship crash in the middle of the ocean and because of the oil spill, the fishes and other creatures do not breath properly and lost there life. many oil industry also plant their plants in the middle of the ocean and because of carelessness these happened,
However, the prestige oil spill happened near the coastline of Galicia, Spain. this was caused by the sinking of the 26-year-old ship in November 2002, which was carried around 70,000 tons of heavy fuel and this accident happened because of heavy Strome. Due to this accident,
The area was totally covered with dead oil-coated coral reefs and many species of sharks and birds, and the fishing industry. but the government also took action to save the ocean and many organization also support and pay the fund to the government, within a two week the ocean was clean and look great as it was.
furthermore, we celebrate world oceans day every year on 8 June, what do you know about this day?
this concept of the day firstly proposed by Canada’s international center for oven development and the ocean institute of Canada in 1992 at the earth summit, and this conformance regarding environment and development held in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. the day marked in a variety of ways, including launching new campaigns and initiatives, special events at aquariums, and 2005. On that day, people celebrate by cleaning water, beaches, and feeding food to the ocean animals, hence famous influencers and celebrities give a speech on social media and share short movies regarding ocean life on the silver screen, because of this people nowadays, are more aware compared to the past.
in years between 2002 to 2008 dozens of things happened like the first-ever website launched “www.worldoceanday.org”, to promote and give guidance to the people, who wont to do something to make ocean pollution-free and they also share the timeline and events happened around the world, and in 2004 the ocean project launched by the united nation to officially recognization 8 June as world ocean day, in 2008 united nation also made lows to reduce the pollution in the ocean.
we should take steps against those people who pollute the mother nature and we stop them or complain in government departments regarding their work and actions, and the government also take down those industries which spread chemicals in the water.
“There’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.”
Indian Navy had launched Operation Samudra Setu to repatriate Indian citizens commencing 08 May 2020. Indian Naval ships Jalashwa and Magar have already evacuated 2874 personnel from Maldives and Sri Lanka to ports of Kochi and Tuticorin.
In the next phase of Samudra Setu, Indian Naval Ship Shardul will evacuate Indian citizens on 08 June 2020 from the port of Bandar Abbas, Islamic Republic of Iran, to Porbandar, Gujarat. The Indian Mission in Islamic Republic of Iran is preparing a list of Indian citizens to be evacuated and will facilitate their embarkation after requisite medical screening.
COVID-related social distancing norms have been catered onboard INS Shardul and the ship has been specially provisioned for the evacuation operation, including embarkation of additional medical staff, doctors, hygienists, nutritionists, medical stores, rations, personal protective equipment, face-masks, lifesaving gear etc. In addition to authorised medical outfit, medical equipment specific to dealing with COVID-19 including innovative products developed by the Indian Navy during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis is also being carried onboard.
The evacuated personnel would be provided the basic amenities and medical facilities whilst undertaking the sea-passage to Porbandar. Special isolation compartments have also been earmarked for any contingencies. In view of the unique challenges associated with COVID-19 including asymptomatic carriers, stringent protocols are being stipulated during the passage.
After disembarkation at Porbandar, the evacuated personnel will be entrusted to the care of State authorities.
Visceral Leishmaniasis also called Kala Azar in the Indian Subcontinent is yet to be eradicated, Visceral leishmaniasis is caused by deadly protozoan parasite genus Leishmania. This deadly disease is characterized by anemia, weight loss, splenomegaly, irregular bouts of fever, hepatomegaly. This deadly disease is epidemic in more than 80 countries however the majority of the cases are reported from six countries that include: India, Brazil, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Somalia and, Sudan. All over the World, the estimated number of cases is around 2,00,000- 4,00,000 and around 40,000 deaths occur all over the globe. In India, Visceral Leishmaniasis is a pure anthroponotic and parasite that are spread to humans by the bite of an infected female sand fly species Phlebotomus argentipes. India alone accounts for 2/3rd of the global gases of which the state of Bihar alone has 50% of the cases and 61.1% of the Cases in India are from Bihar. Kala Azar is a public health problem in Bihar and in 2015 Government of India entrusted ICMR-Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna, to implement an integrated control strategy for achieving the Visceral Leishmaniasis elimination target.
India and Kala-Azar
The Indian Government initiated the Visceral Leishmaniasis program in 1990-1991. In 2005 under WHO and including other countries of Nepal and Bangladesh developed a strategic framework in eliminating Visceral Leishmaniasis as a Public Health problem by 2015, but was later postponed to 2017 and again in 2020 and it is expected that this will be postponed again and in 2002 the Government launched the National Health Policy to eliminate Visceral Leishmaniasis in the region by 2010. India’s Kala-azar surveillance system is shaky and is not proper in detecting the hotspot areas and in providing the health workers with accurate information about the disease. There are some areas where the reach of health workers is negligible and the government needs to take the required steps to eradicate this problem.
The Government needs to :
A. Detect the disease early and provide early treatment for Kala-azar.
B. The government should have effective Survillenance of the diseases.
In India, the spraying of or Indoor residual spraying (IRS) with dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT) was mandated and is being used regularly since 1976. Mostly Kala-azar is confined mostly confined to this states Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal.
Therefore, are possible chances of controlling the Kala-azar and even have a chance to eliminate it from our country. The scientific feasibility of the elimination strategy is formulated based on the epidemiological vulnerability and how the effectiveness and feasibility of intervention are done and how the numbers are being reduced. However, after several efforts taken from different government and non-governmental organizations, Visceral leishmaniasis is still endemic in the 458 poorest blocks of Bihar. A few Visceral leishmaniasis infected blocks have persistently remained highly endemic for several years and there are no signs of improvement in certain areas regardless of the work done. The Visceral leishmaniasis -vector control program in Bihar has suffered from several problems such as the improper implementation of control strategies, weak monitoring and supervision systems, lack of technological involvement, lack of awareness activities about the program, delay in the diagnosis and treatment of infected patients, and the injudicious application of IRS. Therefore, the implementation of all control strategies in an effective way is a very big and huge task to achieve the Visceral leishmaniasis elimination target in Bihar and India overall.
What is the main reason behind our fear? Is it media, or the public fear or any other reason. We are making our opinions based on the information conveyed to us. Who takes the responsibility that information conveyed is correct? It is basically the incomplete information which we are receiving on the daily basis. Once we get the clear understanding that what is actually happening around us then this may happen that our fear is reduced a bit. Current scenario says that we have around 2,00,000 cases in India, more than 5000 people are dead, out of 40 lakh people being tested. The most important thing to understand is that what is the role of testing and what is the connection of the fear with it? If the question is asked to someone that what is the reason behind his/her fear? The answer would be because of the number of deaths. It must be noted that the death rate is 3% which means the ratio is 3:100. Is it true?
The population of India is 135 crore. Out of 135 crore people, testing is done only of 40 lakh people which is not even 1%. So out of 40 lakh people being tested, 2,00,000 cases are found positive. So, in this way the calculation went wrong. Each one of us is focusing upon the number of deaths and number of positive cases emerging on the daily basis. But, no one is noticing that these cases are growing as the number of tests are increasing so there arises a need that the actual death rate needs to be calculated. Thus, the decision should be made on that basis.
We do not need to under-report the number of deaths. Instead over-reporting can be done. People in India die in accidents more than they are dying due to Corona. We are actually setting up only the mathematical modelling of the figures. We don’t have the correct information conveyed to us. If the death rate is 0.01 % then why are we scared. Shouldn’t we be scared of other important things? Yes, unemployment should be our matter of concern. In one of the articles, it was mentioned that around 13 crore people are unemployed. We must be scared of this figure. It means that out of economic point of view, this 13 crore people would be spending in limit. Lacs of industries are already in trouble because their demands are getting reduced at the economic level. This will lead to the reduction of supply. Hence, unemployment would rise.
Everyone is trying to increase the fear among the people. Instead we must make efforts to remove the unemployment from the country and help the needy ones. The solution is that only the critical cases need to be tested. People having mild symptoms of Corona can be quarantined at home. Since, it is clearly analysed that it is nearly impossible to test the whole country then why the tests are increased on a daily basis? The death rate is less. So, reality is that we must focus more on the people who have lost their jobs in this pandemic.
Navic is an independent Indian Satellite based positioning system for critical National applications. The main objective is to provide Reliable Position, Navigation and Timing services over India and its neighbourhood, to provide fairly good accuracy to the user. The IRNSS will provide basically two types of services
Standard Positioning Service (SPS)
Restricted Service (RS)
To date, ISRO has built a total of nine satellites in the IRNSS series; of which eight are currently in orbit Three of these satellites are in geostationary orbit (GEO) while the remaining in geosynchronous orbits (GSO) that maintain an inclination of 29° to the equatorial plane. The IRNSS constellation was named as “NavIC” (Navigation with Indian Constellation) by the Honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and dedicated to the nation on the occasion of the successful launch of the IRNSS-1G satellite. The eight operational satellites in the IRNSS series, namely IRNSS-1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, 1E, 1F, 1G and 1I were launched on Jul 02, 2013; Apr 04, 2014; Oct 16, 2014; Mar 28, 2015; Jan 20, 2016; Mar 10, 2016, Apr 28, 2016; and Apr 12, 2018 respectively. The PSLV-39 / IRNSS-1H being unsuccessful; the satellite could not reach orbit.

Oh, Did I just ask to not address NAVIC (Navigation with Indian Constellation) as our own GPS (Global Positioning System). Have I lost my mind to go against the trend media has created? Am I actually serious about it? Well, let’s see why I am making such a preposterous appeal.
I have realised while talking to a lot of people on social media that they think GPS is a technology per say in generic terms which is completely incorrect. And the headlines all over media are reflecting as such. So first let’s talk about different satellite based navigation systems.
WHAT IS GPS :-
GPS (Global Positioning System) is a global satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). It is a U.S.-owned utility that provides users with positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services. This system consists of three segments: the space segment, the control segment, and the user segment. GPS is operated and maintained by the U.S. Air Force. It is currently the world’s most utilized satellite navigation system.
ABOUT GNSS :-
The generic name of what we assume to be GPS is GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). Currently there are two operational GNSS: 1) Global Positioning System (GPS) is owned by the United States. 2) GLONASS is owned by Russia.
The third GNSS- GALILEO of European Union isn’t completely operational yet, 12 of 30 satellites in orbit. The forth BeiDou (Chinese Navigation system) is a limited test system, its full-scale global navigation system or GNSS also known as COMPASS or BeiDou-2 is currently under construction, it has about 20 satellites in orbit at present.
THEN WHAT’S THE ISSUE?
See, by now we have developed GPS isn’t a generic term, it’s just most popular and we human race runs after something that’s always more popular and it’s exactly what needs to be changed if we want to create our own identity in this world, if we want to stand with pride, if we want other nations to respect and recognise us then we need to be own people and not some ripped off identity of other nation and that’s what NAVIC deserve.
Credit: Third Party Reference
NAVIC was developed after so much of continuous handwork of ISRO scientists, thorough research and loads of money. It isn’t just another satellite based navigation system, it made us the fifth elite nation in this world to have our own navigation satellite system and it is a big deal. I am forever grateful to GPS for extending its services to us but we (India) developed and deployed NAVIC because many of the GPS services weren’t available to defence forces specially and we needed that thus came NAVIC.
“NAVIC made us a proud nation, it showed the world the powerful force India is, it showed that we were Inventers/developers, we are and we always will be. We have some of the best brains in the world that is what NAVIC represents. It’s our pride and giving it a second hand name just dishearten me and it should dishearten you as well.
China has its own search engine Baidu and they do not call it ‘Chinese Google’. We do not call Flipkart as ‘India’s Amazon’ or Ola as ‘India’s Uber’ or every Smartphone an iPhone. Even you wouldn’t like to be called by other’s names!
What we say today, what we trend today will be remembered tomorrow and I do not want NAVIC to be known as ‘Indian GPS’.
If you agree with me then kindly share this post, raise your voice, talk about it, and aware more people about it. All I want is NAVIC to be known as NAVIC to the entire world and I need your help in doing so.

The Maharashtra government has formed a four-member committee to ascertain the rates of COVID-19 tests conducted at authorised private laboratories in the state and the new rates will be fixed within seven days.
AIR correspondent reports that the Indian Council of Medical Research – ICMR has allowed 44 government and 36 private laboratories in the state to carry out coronavirus tests. While the tests are free at government laboratories, the ICMR fixed charges at private laboratories at Rs 4,500.
Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that the kits required for conducting the tests were being imported earlier when charges of tests at private laboratories were fixed by ICMR. Now kits are being manufactured in the country itself and are available. Hence, ICMR has conveyed to negotiate with the private laboratories and fix the test rate.
It added that the rates will be finalised in seven days. It further said that the private laboratories can charge for tests at current rates, fixed for the district in which they are located, till the new rates are finalised. Meanwhile, in its advisory, BMC said that all corona positive patients who do not have symptoms or have mild symptoms, need not rush to the big hospitals for admission when the test result is positive. It said that Heatlh Department will guide such people for the same to nearby Corona care centers.
In Bihar, all eligible migrant workers will be included in voters list during it’s. Chief Electoral officer HR Srinivasa said all DMs, SSPs and SPs will initiate special summary revision of the voters list for the upcoming assembly elections.
The process of updating the voters list is underway. Efforts will be made to add the people who have returned to the state but don’t have their names in the voters list. About 25 lakh migrant workers from different parts of the state have returned to Bihar so far.
we all know that food is important to live life, and it is also a basic need of the human cycle. from the last two years from around the world, people celebrate the world food safety day on 7th Jun, this day was declared by The United Nation Organisation’s Food and Agriculture Association introduce it on 16th October in 1945. the moto to create world food safety day is to create awareness about the existing problems of obesity and malnutrition due to hunger. at an early age, in these only 150 members they have to organized activities and events in an effort to end hunger and promote a healthy lifestyle. When they get the proper results in their organization, they get help from businesses, governments, the media, NGOs and the general public to help those who cannot afford even one meal a day.
In recent 10 to 20 years, all around the globe government established food safety organizations to spread the awareness regarding the crisis of food and hunger, in India Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, is the regulating body related to food safety and laying down of standards of food in India. this organization collects food from parties and wadding to provide slum people, who can not afford the food for a single time.
However, they not only provide food to poor people but also provide information regarding how to manufacture any product in factories, how Genetically modified foods works, Food additives, and many other services regarding food.
Food processing is the transformation of agricultural products into food, or of one form of food into other forms. Food processing includes many forms of processing foods, from grinding grain to make raw flour to home cooking to complex industrial methods used to make convenience foods. Primary food processing is necessary to make most foods edible, and secondary food processing turns the ingredients into familiar foods, such as bread. on many T.V. channels also telecasted many shows which are authorized by well-known food manufactories for farmers to grow healthy and good crops. from many times food processing has been criticized for promoting overnutrition and obesity, containing too much sugar and salt, too little fiber, and otherwise being unhealthful in the dietary needs of humans and farm animals. With the help of a food safety organization, the ration is going down slowly.
nowadays genetically modified food is also famous all around the world many countries scientist do research on how to grow genetically modified food and china get success in it and they made first-ever modified corn and they also do research on food which provide high vitamins and other essential things for the body.
they also run classes where they teach us how to read the label, Know your produce, Know your seller/market, Clean your food, Store right, Cook properly, and Eat raw but eat right.
The United Nation Organisation also run a campaign regarding the obesity, which we can see in present world in small and adult children, more than 603 million adults and 107 million children out of a global population of around 7.5 billion are obese. spreading the right information regarding it is very important and help full for the future a single child, otherwise, a child has to face problem regarding asthma, heart disease.
So, we have to support this organization and do not disobey the instructions which are provided.

What are the benefits of doing an internship? What effect can an internship have on your career? Benefits range from a great way to get yourself into a company, to becoming an expert in your chosen industry and test driving industry to set yourself up for life, let’s take look at 10 reasons WHY you and your career can benefit from an internship!
Make sure to look out for the case studies where we will be speaking to people who have done internships and moved on to have amazing careers!
Why do an internship?
Gain Industry Knowledge From Experts
There is no substitute for experience. I don’t know who that quote is from but I like it so I’m using it. Learning from experienced professionals is a tremendous way to get to know your industry.
Sure, you’ve read all about the latest trends in marketing, sales or teaching, but there are people who have actually been doing this for years that can teach you little tricks and more efficient ways of doing things, so why not use their knowledge and add it to your own set of skills? It’s just one reason why internships and mentors can be great if you can get good ones.
People are often surprised when they leave school or graduate from University, by the huge difference between what you read in textbooks vs completing tasks in the real world. In University you can often skate by for weeks at a time doing very little, go to lectures and sit on your phone, maybe get some homework done the night before it’s due in. In (most) workplaces this simply won’t do as your manager and colleagues are aware of your productivity and hold you accountable if you don’t complete it satisfactorily.
An example I can share with you is in my current job, each of us has 2-3 long-term activities and one short-term that we have to spend time on each day. If any of us neglect just one of these activities then we’re all aware of it and hear about it from our Director within an hour or two. Very different from a more chilled out Uni isn’t it?
You don’t control your own schedule anymore
It can be a shock to the system when moving from University to full-time work because you are no longer totally in charge of your own schedule, this can be frustrating because at University you can be thoroughly enjoying your freedom and suddenly having to live by a schedule decided by someone else can take some adjustment. Getting used to this through an internship can be helpful and ease the transition from graduation to full-time work.
A colleague of mine once brought up the ‘Imposter syndrome’, when someone gets a new job but worries ‘am I capable of this? Do I actually have the skills?’ which I thought was interesting as it was something I had experienced myself when starting a new job but I was unaware it was something that happens to a lot of people.
If you are starting out on your internship and feel this ‘imposter syndrome’ so what? You’re here to learn so, of course, you don’t know everything yet. Which brings us onto to our next point…
Learn without pressure.
The fact you’re doing an internship is like those ‘L’ learner plates that trainee drivers have on their cars. Your colleagues are aware that you are not an expert yet and so adjust their expectations accordingly, this can reduce the pressure on the intern greatly and allow you to learn at your own pace (within reason, of course, 6 weeks to learn the filing system is a bit much).
While you’re on the internship it’s a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, things you could never do before. Until I did my internship in renewable energy I had only ever given presentations to classmates and was so nervous beforehand that I dreaded it. However, after the experience of writing out the company business plan and presenting it to would-be investors, I now feel extremely confident in my ability knowing that if I have a good grasp of the material, there is nothing to be concerned about as I can present in an informative manner and comfortably answer questions.
Internships also help in that they expose you to workplace issues that aren’t covered in the classroom. Even simple things like going out with your friends for a few drinks on Thursday evening and not quite fancying an early morning lecture on Friday doesn’t cause much of an issue. This is a totally different issue in the workplace and can lead to big problems, not just an angry boss, but your colleagues genuinely depend on you for group productivity so if you go missing, they will often have to pick up your slack and unless you genuinely can’t get to work, that’s not fair.
Group work at University can be frustrating, but the pressure you feel to get a passing grade is nothing compared to investors or directors who are judging you and your group’s knowledge and ideas.
Practical Experience For Your CV
It’s awesome to receive A’s on your papers at Uni and employers will appreciate this, to a point, after this, they want to see what are you actually capable of? What have you done other than reading and then write a few assignments? An internship is a chance to demonstrate you can put theoretical knowledge into practice.
In my personal experience I found that once I’d done my internship and was able to add tasks and accomplishments to my CV to go alongside my academic achievements, interest from companies skyrocketed. It’s because someone who already has experience is less of a risk. The fact that someone has already hired you and the new company can see what you’ve done really boosts your EMPLOYABILITY.
Get Your Foot In The Door Of An Interesting Company
Jobs or at least, interviews often go to people that businesses and recruiters already have some connection with, this is an unfortunate situation I suffered from for a long time. I had no connections in Barcelona and did no networking, thinking and hoping that my talent and hard work would get me the job, sad thing is in many instances, this isn’t the case. As we will see later in a case study with Munish, he was clever enough to utilize a link between his University and a company which got him an introduction, meaning he was not just a faceless CV anymore, but a real person with skills and something to offer, this is INVALUABLE.
Possibility of full-time work after an internship if you perform well
The internship should never be the ultimate goal, it should be the stepping stone on the way. If you do a great job at the place you’re interning, there’s a possibility of getting a full-time job there! Two of my colleagues in my current company started out as interns and moved onto managerial positions in the company. This is what I mean by ‘foot in the door’ these two are very competent individuals and found their way in by accepting the internship and demonstrating their skills. Not everyone is so lucky but by working hard and producing results, what’s stopping you from doing the same thing they did?
Demonstrate you’re a hard worker
Something my Mum ingrained in me from a young age was the importance of showing up early and when possible, stay late, even if it’s only for 5 minutes. I didn’t realize how much managers love this attitude, someone who stays to get the job done and doesn’t run out the door at the first opportunity.
Networking
As you will see from a case study later, making connections for the future can be of great benefit further down the road. A friend of mine got a great new job and the first year of his PhD paid for by a man running a company who used to be his manager during his internship. I’m not saying it will work out this way for everyone but it could be something as simple as a job referral or a skills recommendation on your LinkedIn!
A former colleague of mine has gone on to have the best job of any of my friends and anyone my age that I know of (we’ll speak to him later to find out more). He is currently getting paid to travel the world and write about beach soccer, how amazing is that? But how did he get the job? A referral! Someone knew about a vacancy at the place he’s working now and recommended him for the role. He did his time in an internship and learned loads about his industry, now he can combine this with being a great writer and everything came together so that next week he’s off to Portugal to write about beach soccer!
As stated earlier, finding a mentor can be of great benefit because you can be exposed to all the experiences that this person has had, the advice, things to do, things to avoid, how to deal with certain situations but there is also the chance they could put you in touch with someone for your next role!
Test-drive a career: do you want to do this for the rest of your life?
A great passion of mine is protecting the environment and so upon graduation from my Masters, I immediately embarked on an internship in renewable energy thinking this was my way to do something positive for the world.
I soon realized that the job provided almost no freedom, I needed to be between the laboratory, office and factory floor from 9-5 every day. This was great for a while because I was busy (the worst thing in a job is boredom) but it wasn’t something I could do for the next 60 years.
Doing an internship allowed me to do a ‘test drive’ of sorts and whilst I enjoyed my time there and learned a lot, I decided not to accept the offer of a full-time job as it wasn’t right for me. Something I would have been reluctant to do if I had signed a full-time contract, I would have felt obliged to stay.
Internships allow us to test-drive a company as well as the industry. Let’s face it, some companies are great and some are just plain rubbish, no work-life balance, boring job, poor pay, horrible co-workers etc. The internship is a light at the end of the tunnel, knowing you’ll be leaving and not stuck here until your 65! This way you can throw yourself into the job learning as much as possible.
Get yourself references to support job applications
Similar to networking, references can help get your foot in the door of a company. Put yourself in the situation of a hiring manager, what mean’s more: a phone call from a trusted colleague or ex-colleague regarding an interesting candidate or one of the 200 CV applications in your email inbox?
Having a reference adds weight to your application, backing up your claims of skills and experience. I can’t tell you the struggles I used to have when applying for a job and they ask for references, who the hell do I put? sure I can email my old manager but…who knows if they’ll reply?!
Conclusion
As you can see from the example we’ve used in Andrea, Serena and others, if you work smart, work hard, listen to people who are more experienced and learn from them you can go on to have amazing experiences and awesome careers!
So go and find yourself an amazing in internship and who knows, maybe someone will be asking you to pass on your advice and tips in the future after you’ve had your own amazing experiences!
