Water and No Water: Wastage, Shortage and mismanagement.

Mumbai is facing a shortage of water with a third of its residents not having drinking water as per a recent report. This comes in heels with the news of massive water-logging across the city and flood-like situations. This is reminiscent of the Chennai Water Crisis in 2019 when a flood had hit the city in 2018 and in May 2019, the city declared a zero-water day – no water left in any of its reservoirs. As per statistics, in the coastal city with a medium size river flowing right through it (the famed Anna University is actually partially built on lands claimed from the river), 60% of its population relies on bottled water for drinking all year long. Was this always the case? History suggests no. But it has been so for about a decade now. This is not very shocking given that Mawsynram, the place with the highest recorded average rainfall on the planet also faces water shortage during summers!!!

Maharashtra received 17 per cent excess rainfall since June: IMD | India News,The Indian Express
A lot of rain, and yet no water to drink

Yemen – the poorest of Arab nations and a region marred by civil war and international interference for more than a decade now might also have the root of its civil war as water shortage. Let us understand that the Yemeni factions are the Houthis, the republicans – with both basically supporting their tribal interests – and a swinging group of Saudi-led forces. Records suggest that there existed blood feud between villages just because a village constructed a well very close to that of the other village. As per data, Yemen has the least water availability per capita on the planet, even inviting statements like – if water were to get exhausted on Earth, this process would begin in Yemen. This is odd, given the fact that Dubai is a sprawling metropolis situated in the same Saudi desert.

War and pieces: Political divides in southern Yemen – European Council on Foreign Relations
Yemen is the most water depreciated nation on the planet.

The situation is actually grim in many more places – Northern India – a land abundant with rivers and lakes – most of them, technically all of them polluted beyond potability. Go to Africa and the nations with rainforests and rivers are dry.

What is the cause then? We often hear of climate change. A reader would agree about the reality of climate change but would certainly not let go of the sheer amount of mismanagement involved in the handling of water resources. Governments all over the world have tried in their own way to clean water bodies – the money ending up in their coffers owing to balant corruption. In India, for instance, the Save Ganges Movement or ‘Ganga bachao abhiyaan’ in the vernacular has been a project spanning over three decades and costing lakhs of crores – the best part – to no result. NGOs and villagers have often revived water bodies across the planet showing the importance of public participation in government or local initiatives. But, the people aren’t really very concerned about this issue it seems. It might find itself in discussions during summers or in newspapers – but people refuse to consider it as a problem as grim as climate change. No one can imagine the change Chennai saw with themselves.

Tiger conservation: Strides and hurdles

On International Tiger Day( July 29), Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed that the government is committed to ensuring safe habitats for tigers and nurturing tiger- friendly ecosystems in India, home to over 70% of the world’s tiger population.

Photo by Waldemar Brandt on Pexels.com

The last tiger census (2018) pegged the big cat’s population at 2967, marking an increase of about 30% compared to the 2014 report ( 2226). In 2010, India had 1706 tigers, while in 2006 it was 1411. India’s tiger conservation journey started in 1973 with Project Tiger with nine reserves; today, it has 50 tiger reserves in 18 states.

The steady growth in the number of tigers and reserves happened because of state support; vigilance and conservation efforts by the forest department, especially its frontline staff; and the involvement of local communities that help secure forests and participate in ecotourism activities in many of the popular and revenue – generating tiger reserves.

While increased protection has encouraged tigers to breed, it has also led to migration from the safety of reserves. Once they leave the park, big cats encounter a different world.

The Management Effectiveness Evaluation of Tiger Reserves 2018 report shows that at least half of the 50 tiger reserves are facing threats from linear infrastructure ( roads, highways, and railway lines), fragmented forest corridors, poaching, pressure of human – wildlife conflict, mining, improper garbage disposal, and pollution.

About 20% of the reserves have unsustainable pressure from pilgrims visiting temples inside them.

India has made progress, but must remain acutely conscious of the need for the need for the tiger conservation.

IOT (INTERNET OF THINGS)

The Internet of things (IoT) describes the network of physical objects that are embedded with sensors, software, and other technologies that is used for the purpose of connecting and exchanging data with other devices and systems over the internet.

One such example is smart phone. Without even human intervention it is possible to access things through IOT. It can easily transfer data over a network through Internet Protocol (IP) address.

HOW IT WORKS?

IOT is a web-enabled smart devices that use embedded systems to collect, send and act on data they receive. They collect it through an IOT gateway. They can also communicate with other related devices. The device does not need human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction. It also uses artificial intelligence to collect data .

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

In such a hectic and busy world IOT helps people by simplifying their lives. It provides businesses with a real-time look and offers smart devices to automate homes. It helps individual to gain complete control of their lives.

BENEFITS OF IOT:

IOT provides multiple benefits in business and multiple industries. Some include

  • Helps make  better business decisions.
  • Saves time and money.
  • Helps generate more revenue.
  • It cuts down on waste and improves service delivery.
  • Easy accessibility.

CONS OF IOT:

Every coin has 2 sides. Likewise, it also comes with its own disadvantages.

  • If there’s a bug in the system, the device gets corrupted.
  • When the number of connected devices increases then the potential that a hacker could steal information also increases.
  •  It’s difficult for devices from different manufacturers to communicate with each other

In this weird world where humans have no time for themselves, IOT place an important role in millions of people’s life. A new era has now entered our lives where a man is a slave of technology which is ironically developed the for making human’s work simpler and that’s what IOT exactly does.

Some Myths about Solar Energy

The sun is the source of the solar power which converts into other form of power for utilization .Today’s Solar Energy is the most popular & most needed renewable energy .But with its popularity here comes some myths which create misbelieve among people & prevent the consumption of solar energy in great dimension .There are some of the myths about solar energy are discussed below .

1. Manufacturing Energy of Solar Panels are Greater than Produced Energy by Solar Panels :                                                                                                                                              It is a baseless conception about solar panels .National Renewable Energy Laboratory proved with their experiments that all types of solar panels pay back energy positively within 4 years .Retaliation Period for Mono- crystalline panels ,Poly-crystalline panels & Thin film panels are 2 years , 1-1.5 years & 1 year respectively .

Manufacturing of solar panels

2. Daily Maintenance is Necessary for Solar Panels :                                                                Solar panels loss only 5-10% efficiency without it’s cleaning maintenance .So it is not a necessary requirement .Only off grid solar panels need some maintenances in battery but not in majority .

3. Solar Panels will Wreck the Roof of House:                                                                              The Roof-attached Solar panels are not attached to the roof directly .Solar panels are sited on a rack which is actually attached to the rooftop .So solar panels can’t harm a roof of the house.

4. Solar Power Systems are Costly :                                                                                                  It is one of the popular misbelieve  about solar energy .It was true at the innovation time of solar panels around 1970 but in recent days solar panels are not expensive compared to other technological innovation . For recent advanced technology ,solar system becomes reachable in cost .

solar system are not coastly

5. Solar Panels are Invalid in Cloudy Days :                                                                                            It is the biggest wrong information about solar panels .People think that as solar panels use solar light & heat to generate current so rainy days are  not suitable for absence of light & heat .In fact solar panels can generate current in cloudy days but in less amount than the sunny days for efficiency reduction . Minimum 10-25% of usual current can be produced in rainy days by panels .

solar energy in cloudy weather

6. Solar System Keeps Working Even at the Time of Power-cut :                                                     It is a misconception to think that solar systems are able to work if power goes out .For Grid-connected system ,it will be invalid to work & for Hybrid system ,they only able to work in daytime .Only when the solar battery storage are coupled with solar system ,it can work during outage

power cut

 7. Warm Weather is Better for Solar Power Production :                                                       It is a conventional misapprehension among people that warm climate helps to generate much power .The actual fact is solar panel use sun light to produce power rather than heat .On the contrary ,high temperature  reduced efficiency of solar system .

 8. Solar Panels Don’t Work on Cold Climate :                                                            With advanced technology ,solar panels can induce energy in every types of climate even in snowy or cold days .In fact cold weather helps to increase efficiency of solar system .

solar panels in cold days

  9. Solar Panels , Which finished Their Life-time, are Environmentally Greave :                                            It is a fallacy that time span finished solar panels is harmful for environment . The life time limitation for a solar panels are usually 25 years .The parts of solar systems can be recycled again for reuse after its lifetime .So in no way the parts of the solar system damage the nature .

solar panels are recyclable

 10. Electric Bill will be Cheaper by the Installation of Solar System :

It is not actually true statement . The electric bill in fact depends on the way of using produced energy . Electric bill can be cheap by using produced excess energy or using electric appliances (which needed much electric) in less electricity using time (evening or night time).

Electric bill of solar energy

There are more myths about solar energy other than these 10 —                                                               ~Heavy current loaded appliances are unable to run in Solar Energy .                                                   ~Solar panels are easily damageable by wind , birds .                                                                     ~Installation of solar panel are complicated .

These are the usual myths .But one have to remember that these are all myths .These statements doesn’t hold the complete truth about solar energy .So we should search about the complete truth before believing these conceptions about solar power .

Why is wildfire smoke potentially worse than other pollutants in the air?

Wildfires in the Western United States have spread smoke across the landscape, posing a rising hazard to public health. The 2020 fire season was so terrible, because of climate change, that it nearly quadrupled the previous record for acres burned in California, and at-home monitoring of the smoke’s impact on air quality became practically ubiquitous. This year’s season is off to a disastrous start, with smoke from West Coast wildfires already darkening skies on the East Coast.

Smoke isn’t your typical form of pollution. According to studies published in the journal Nature earlier this year, the small particles present in smoke can be up to ten times more hazardous to human health than soot from other sources such as tailpipes and factories.

Fine particles, also known as PM2.5, are 30 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair follicle and were studied by researchers. When a fuel, whether it’s gas or plant, burns, tiny particles are released into the air and occasionally into our bodies. According to the study, fine particles from wildfire smoke resulted in 10% more respiratory hospitalizations than they would have been without the smoke. While pollution from other sources is also hazardous, it only increased hospitalizations by around 1%.

Rosana Aguilera, the study’s primary author and a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California, San Diego, spoke in an interview. She explained what she and other academics are doing to learn more about the effects of wildfire smoke on human health.

The interview was slightly altered for clarity.

What are “fine particles,” and why are they a concern?

Fine particles were investigated by the research group I work in since they are one of the primary components of wildfire smoke. These particles are distinct from others. Their chemical makeup varies depending on the items being burned. There are a variety of chemicals that may be found in wildfire smoke and fine particles, including carbon and heavy metals.

We’re concentrating on these small particles found in wildfire smoke right now because wildfire smoke is becoming increasingly prevalent as a source of emissions in various parts of the United States and the world. It’s one form of air pollution in California that appears to be on the rise in the foreseeable future. Some articles support the notion that wildfire smoke will be one of the primary sources of fine particulate matter in areas such as the Western United States.

What kind of impact may such tiny particles have on people’s health?

Because it’s tiny enough to infiltrate our respiratory system and reach deep into the lungs, it’s one of the air pollutants to be concerned about. It might enter the circulation and spread to other organs from there. It can make breathing difficult. It can irritate the skin and aggravate illnesses such as asthma and other respiratory and cardiopulmonary problems.

We mostly deal with acute impacts, which are the reactions that occur after being exposed to wildfire smoke for a few days. My study group isn’t focusing on long-term impacts right now, but I believe it’s an issue that needs to be explored more. Long-term exposure is more difficult to study since it requires following individuals who have been exposed to several wildfires.

So, how does wildfire smoke compare to other sources of pollution like vehicles, trucks, and industry?

When comparing wildfire smoke to non-smoke fine particles, we discovered that wildfire smoke is more hazardous in terms of increased hospitalizations.

The mix of traffic emissions and wildfire smoke may be extremely different. We haven’t looked at the chemical makeup of these tiny particles concerning their origins. However, several toxicological studies have delved into this further and shown that wildfire smoke toxicity may be enhanced. If it passes through a structure, it may pick up pollutants from homes and other structures.

What do you want to achieve with your research?

We’d like to investigate these differential effects of fine particles concerning emission sources, as well as try to learn more about the chemical makeup of various wildfires.

If wildfire smoke has a higher impact, and if it will be one of the primary sources of this sort of pollution in the future — or if it currently is — we need to learn more about why it is more damaging. Then, what kind of long-term impact can we expect?

Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s view on former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos flying into space

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai admitted that he was “jealous” of the Blue Origin and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos for his July 20 space flight that would launch him, and his brother, Mark Bezos, into the edge of the space. Bezos is expected to fly approximately 100 kilometres or 328,000 feet to the Kármán Line on New Shepard on the day that marks NASA’s Apollo moon landing anniversary.

Speaking about Bezos’ 11-minute trip to space, Google’s CEO Pichai told BBC in a televised interview, “Well, I’m jealous, a bit,” adding that he would love to look at Earth from space. He then went on to describe his views on AI, saying that it is the most profound technology that humanity has developed.

the interview, Pichai talked about a varied range of things. When asked when was the last time he cried, he said: “Seeing the morgue trucks parked around the world during COVID. And seeing what’s happened in India over the past month.”

Meanwhile, British billionaire Richard Branson on last Sunday soared more than 50 miles above the New Mexico desert aboard his Virgin Galactic rocket plane and safely returned in the vehicle’s first fully crewed test flight to space, a symbolic milestone for a venture he started 17 years ago.

launch of the VSS Unity passenger rocket plane marked the company’s 22nd test flight of its SpaceShipTwo system, and its fourth crewed mission beyond Earth’s atmosphere. It was also the first to carry a full complement of space travelers – two pilots and four “mission specialists,” Branson among them.Heralding a new space tourism era, Branson reached space with three employees, including one of Indian-origin, leaving Jeff Bezos to follow his route on July 20. Bezos has been planning to fly aboard his own suborbital rocketship, the New Shepard, later this month.

3 HARMLESS HABITS THAT MAY CAUSE CANCER

women who keeps their phone close to their chest are prone to skin cancer .

Everybody knows that smoking can cause cancer , you protect yourself from excessive exposure to sun as it may cause skin cancer , but do you know we all have harmless habits that may cause cancer & other health issues . These habits are our regular habits which we not considered , but they can cause Sevier problem to us

3 harmless habits that may cause cancer

  1. Wearing your cell phone in your bra. Devra Davis Ph.D. MPH, President and Founder, Environmental Health Trust, has documented seven cases of young women who have developed cancerous tumors in the center of the breast where they carried their cell phones for 10 years. “These cases all formed with multiple primary tumors in the outlines of where the cell phones lodged. the harmful radiations from your phone can cause breast cancer .

protect yourself :

  • Carry your phone in a phone holster or in your purse.
  • Read cell phone manufacturers’ warnings on the safest way to use and carry the phones.
  • When buying a phone, ask about the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), which measures the rate of radiofrequency (RF) energy absorption by the body from your cell phone. The FCC has adopted limits for safe exposure to RF energy from cell phones: a SAR level of 1.6 watts per kilogram (1.6 W/kg).
  • Turn off your cell phone. Even if you are not using it, it is emitting radiation if it’s on.
  • Beware of areas with weak signals. Cell phones are programmed to work harder—emitting more radiation—when signal strength is blocked.
  • If you see reddened skin on your breast that does not go away, get it checked out by your physician.

2. Using talcum powder : Several studies have reported a positive association between use of talcum powder on women’s perineal area (from the anus to the vulva) and ovarian cancer risk. A 2010 study published in Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention found that talcum powder also increases the risk of endometrial cancer, particularly among postmenopausal women. All should avoid talcum powder for parts which it is not meant .

2 . Drinking sugary beverages:

Sodas, sweetened tea, and lemonade—among other foods that have a high glycemic index—increase the risk of endometrial cancer. “When you eat those foods, it causes a spike in blood sugar and insulin. Having continually high amounts of insulin can help create an environment that is conducive to endometrial cancer cells proliferating,” says Bender. In addition, sugary drinks promote obesity, which increases the risk for colorectal, postmenopausal breast, esophageal, endometrial, kidney, pancreatic, gallbladder, and ovarian cancers. These are one time kind of drinks , regular drinking of these artificial sugary drinks causes health issues .

3. Drinking alcohol : Bender reports that alcohol increases the risk for colorectal, breast, esophageal, mouth, pharynx, larynx, and liver cancers. “The idea is that when alcohol metabolizes, it produces a carcinogen in the body,” she says, referring to the byproduct acetaldehyde, which then further metabolizes into acetate, and finally into water and carbon dioxide, which your body eliminates. Alcohol results in increase of body weight , which leads to link between cancer .

5 plants of Biofuel Production

Sign of Bio fuel

What Is Bio fuel : Bio fuel is a liquid type of fuel derived from plant ,grass ,crop & other biological ,agricultural waste product .

Production plants:   There are some plants which is used to produce this bio fuel —-                                                                           Bio ethanol from Corn ; Bio diesel from Canola ; Bio ethanol from sugarcane ;Palm oil (acting as bio diesel ) from Palm (Elaeis Guineensis) ; Bio diesel from Jetropha ; Soy Bio diesel from soybean (Glycine max), Bio diesel from cotton seed or sunflower seed ;Bio ethanol from wheat (Triticum aestivum) ;Bio ethanol from Switch grass (Panicum virgatum) ; Bio diesel (CNSL or Cashew Nut Shell Oil ) from Cashew shell (Anacardium occidentale) .

Significance:                                                                                                                                                                                                  1) Bio fuels contain very low amount of carbon .That’s why the production amount of Carbon dioxide & Carbon monoxide become low .The chances of environment harm reduces .                                                              2) Bio fuels are very good replacement of fossil fuel ,crude oil ,natural gas  as fossil fuels are in very demand & low in amount .                                                                                                                                                                 3) As bio fuel  are a better replacement for carbon containing fossil fuels they helps to prevent the pollution. Sometime they are mixed with gasoline to act as an engine oil.

4) Bio fuel are renewable energy .So there are no threat for finishing up of these type of sources .

Categories:   There are 2 types of bio fuel  .                                                                                                                                    1)Bio Alcohol — Ethanol, which is produced by the fomentation of the starch compound of yeast and bacteria.                                                                                                                                                                     2)Biodiesel — Produced from animal fats and plant oils.

Some of the bio fuel plants are discussed below ————

1.Jatropha:    Scientific name :  Jatropha curcas                                                                                                                                                                                                 It is very poisonous tree. Cultivating jatropha is economically benefiting for rural farmers as it has the bio fuel producing value.  Moreover jatropha can grow very quickly &  live for 50 years long. They need less amount of water for cultivating. Jatropha seeds contain 40% Oil. India is the largest country for producing this plant. Bio fuel is extracted from seeds and the remaining part of these plants are used as a biomass fuel.

2.Sugar cane:  Scientific Name : Saccharum officinarum                                                                                                                                                                                                           Bio ethanol are produced from sugar cane . In Brazil it is cheaper than gasoline and is produced in a lot of amount. The juice of Sugarcane plant has lots of sugar which gives lot of energy and the reduced part is a inflammable product used in cooking. Production cost of bio ethanol by reaction process is costly than production cost of bio ethanol from sugar cane.

3.Rapeseed or Canola:    Scientific name :    Brassica napus                                                                                                                                                                             Canola is a type of rapeseed . From ancient time it is used as a cooking oil for containing  low amount of erucid acid and is good for human body. In cold environments, biodiesels tend to convert in crystals because of saturated fat which is not good for combustion engines of vehicles. In this case canola has low saturated fat and is able to work in cold climates. Canola is high in oil contain and low in saturated fats. Produced bio diesel have very low amount of Carbon so the production of Carbon monoxide by burning is low .

4.Corn:     Scientific name :   Zea mays                                                                                                                                                                                                  It is the major crops in the world, which produce ethanol. Produced ethanol is used in car engine along with gasoline. The kernels of corn are smashed into dust then it’s mixed with water to made a dough which is fermented by yeast to produce ethanol. Produced bio ethanol emits less carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and Sulphur after burning. The body part cannot be used in the production of biodiesel rather it is used as a cooking mass for containing cellulose. This bio ethanol helps to reduce the smog.

5.Sunflower:   Scientific name :   Helianthus annuus L.                                                                                                                                                                                     This flower name comes from facing the sun every time.  The seeds of sunflower are edible, delicious and good for health. As you all know Edible cooking oil are produced from sunflower. The biodiesel is produced from seeds which have lots of oil & the remaining plant parts are used as a biomass to produce bio fuel. Its plantation of sunflower helps the farmer economically as it has food production value & bio fuel production value .

Features you’ll lose when upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

When Windows 11 is released later this year, it will include a new design, new colours, and new functions. However, not everything in Windows 10 will be preserved after the upgrade.
Between now and the public release of Windows 11, expect a few feature additions and subtractions, but here’s all we know about what will be lost along the road.

Timeline

Perhaps you’ve never used Timeline, which is one of the reasons it’s being phased out in Windows 11. The function allows you to sync your activity over the previous 30 days across different Windows PCs (files you’ve opened, websites you’ve visited, and so on), making it quicker to switch between devices registered in with the same Microsoft account.

Live Tiles

The Live Tiles feature on the Windows 10 Start menu, which allows different bits of information to be presented and updated in real time, was not well received by developers. You’d be correct if you thought that sounded a lot like widgets. However, with Windows 11, Microsoft will attempt to bring back desktop widgets, so let’s hope they perform better than Live Tiles.

Start Menu Groups

Another feature borrowed from the Start menu is the ability for users to organise and name tiles in categories like as productivity, writing, gaming, and so on. The Start menu’s layout will also not be resizable, implying that Microsoft intends to make the Start menu experience the same for everyone (as well as move it into the centre of the screen).

In Windows 11, tile grouping and naming are no longer available in the Start menu. Screenshot:Windows 10

Internet Explorer

What exactly is it? Didn’t you think it was already dead? It’s still available in Windows 10 if you look hard enough, but in Windows 11, all traces of Internet Explorer will be gone, and Microsoft Edge will take its place. Use the IE mode in Edge for those really, very ancient legacy programmes and sites you still require access to for whatever reason.

Cortana

Although Microsoft’s digital assistant will not be completely removed from Windows 11, it will be removed from the setup process and will no longer be pinned to the taskbar. It’s unclear what Microsoft has planned for Cortana, but based on the capabilities introduced to it in the previous year or so, it may be recast as a business tool.

In Windows 11, Cortana will be less prominent. Screenshot: Windows 10

Skype

Skype will continue to be available in Windows 11, but it will not be included as an integral member as it is in Windows 10. That’s because Microsoft has shifted its attention to Teams as a solution for all of your communication requirements, including video, so expect a lot of tight Teams connections in the final Windows 11 experience.

Tablet Mode

Although Windows 10 works well on tablets like the Surface Pro as well as complete desktop and laptop computers, Windows 11 will not have a specific mode for tablet devices. Rather, this functionality will be redesigned, with part of it occurring automatically (like when you attach or detach a Bluetooth keyboard, for example).

Taskbar Location

In terms of removing customizations, the taskbar in Windows 11 can only be found at the bottom of the screen. You may not have known it, but Windows 10 allows you to move the taskbar to the left, right, or even to the top of the screen. You’re out of luck if you enjoy tinkering with your operating system.

Quick Status

Applications in Windows 10 can leave little blocks of information on the lock screen to remind you of incoming emails, impending calendar appointments, and so on. When Windows 11 ships, this feature, known as Quick Status, will be unavailable to applications, however widgets (see above) may be able to fill the void.

Windows S Mode

This is another feature that isn’t going away altogether, although you’ll see it less frequently: S Mode, which improves speed and security by only allowing programmes from the official Microsoft Store to be installed, will only be available in Windows 11 Home version. S Mode is now available for Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

Why is water important?

This material accounts for the majority of your body weight and plays a role in a variety of critical functions, including:

removing waste from the body

controlling body temperature and assisting brain function

The majority of your daily water intake comes from liquids, but food also provides a minor quantity.

It helps create saliva

Saliva contains a lot of water. Saliva also contains electrolytes, mucous, and enzymes in minute amounts. It’s necessary for breaking down solid foods and maintaining oral health.

When you drink enough water, your body generates adequate saliva. However, as you become older or take certain medications or therapies, your saliva production may decrease.

If your mouth is drier than usual and increasing your water intake isn’t helping, see your doctor.

It regulates your body temperature

Maintaining your body temperature requires staying hydrated. During physical exercise and in heated situations, your body loses water through sweat.

Sweat keeps your body cool, but if you don’t replace the water you lose, your body temperature will rise. That’s because when you’re dehydrated, your body loses electrolytes and plasma.

If you’re sweating more than normal, make sure you’re getting plenty of rest.

It protects your tissues, spinal cord, and joints

Water keeps your joints, spinal cord, and tissues lubricated and cushioned. This will allow you to enjoy physical exercise while also reducing the agony caused by ailments such as arthritis.

It helps excrete waste through perspiration, urination, and defecation

Water is used by the body to sweat, pee, and pass bowel movements.

Sweat helps to keep your body temperature in check whether you’re exercising or in hot weather. Water is required to replace the fluids lost via sweating.

To have good faeces and avoid constipation, you also need enough water in your system.

Your kidneys are also responsible for removing waste from your body through urination. Adequate hydration is beneficial.

It helps maximize physical performance

Your strength, power, and endurance are all affected by hydration.

If you engage in endurance training or high-intensity sports like basketball, you may be more susceptible to the consequences of dehydration.

Exercise in the heat without adequate hydration can result in dangerous medical issues such as low blood pressure and hyperthermia. Seizures can be caused by severe dehydration.

It aids in digestion

Experts affirm that drinking water before, during, and after a meal will assist your body break down the food you eat more easily, contrary to popular belief. This will aid in your digestion and allow you to get the most out of your meals.

The body adjusts to variations in the composition of food and stomach contents, whether they are more solid or liquid, according to a reliable source.

It helps with nutrient absorption

Water not only aids in the digestion of food, but it also aids in the dissolution of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. The vitamin components are subsequently delivered to the remainder of your body for usage.

Cancer

Cancer is one of the most haunting diseases, squandering lives since ages. It occurs due to abnormal cell growth due to genetic mutations from environmental and lifestyle factors. Major of these factors are smoking, obesity, infections. There are also some certain chemicals known as carcinogens. Tobacco smoke causes almost 90% of the lung cancer. Physical inactivity and obesity also causes about 30-35% of cancer deaths. Not only cancer physical inactivity also hampers endocrine and immune system.

There are various types of cancer:

LEAUKEMIA : Commonly known as blood cancer, leukaemia affects the tissues of the bone marrow which is responsible for blood production. It is caused by abnormal production of white blood cells.

Myeloma: It targets plasma cells of our immune system. These cells divide in the bone marrow causing multiple tumours in the bones

LYMPHOMA: It affects the lymphocytes in the lymph nodes, which are a part of the immune system.

CNS CANCER: CNS (Central Nervous System) cancers originate from the brain and the spinal cord. Gliomas, vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, primary CNS lymphomas, pituitary adenomas are few CNS cancers.

Melanoma: It is a form of skin cancer that targets melanin – the pigment responsible for skin colour. In this form of cancer, the melanocytes are affected resulting in the abnormal formation of melanin. It may also affect other tissues that are pigmented, such as the eyes.

Symptoms

There are various symptoms through which cancer can be detected such as irregular loss weight, fatigue, continuous pain, fever or any irregular changes in skin.

Causes

Cancer can be caused by innumerous factors such as genetical factors, tobacco, alcohol, obesity, unhealthy environment, exposure to unnatural radiations etc.

Treatment

With the advancement of science many cures have been found for the treatment of cancer. The process of treatment depends on the type and stages of cancer. Some of the common treatment includes surgery, chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, and radiation therapy.
