Half the fun of eating at Old Delhi’s Paranthe Wali Gali, is getting there.
The other half, is of course, the food.
Slotted in the ancient narrow alleys of Delhi, India is the legendary series of restaurants serving North Indian parathas; The lane is famously known as Paranthe Wali Gali.
There are quite a few different restaurants to choose from, all claiming to be the best and the original, and all equally busy with customers (I assume they are all actually quite similar, but if you know otherwise please let me know!).
I chose Babu Ram Paranthe Wale.
Though it appeared to be packed with customers waiting in line outside, somehow they managed to cram us in at a corner table without having to wait more than a few minutes.
THE PARATHA KITCHEN
Outside, where armies of people pass by, is the kitchen, where all the action and food preparation takes place.
One man rolls out dough and fills them with topping at a mind blowing speed, while another guy fries the parathas in oil that’s so hot it looks like lava. Within just a few moments the raw dough is transformed into a crispy golden flatbread.
ARE YOU SCARED OF THE MENU?
Now that, my friends, is a menu!
I’m guessing decades of greasy hands have touched that artifact, and I’m sure that if a scientist got his hands on that, he could probably find some pretty interesting things.
In my opinion, that’s always a sign of a not so healthy, yet a quality eatery!
At Babu Ram Paranthe Wale there are probably about 30 different kinds to order, They came on a metal saucer with pumpkin curry, a peas curry, and a red sauce that tasted just about like the American version of Chinese sweet and sour sauce (sour tomato sauce)
While I did think the parathas were tasty and delicious, they were a little too greasy for me. I definitely couldn’t eat my fill of parathas, I’d just be too greased out. 2-3 were perfect.
Paranthe Wali Gali is the type of place people are willing to wait to eat, a food locals consider special and maybe comforting.
Sitting at the table next to us (which was actually only inches away from us) was a group of ladies who were originally from Delhi, but had been living in the United States for over 10 years – they too came to get a taste of that all familiar paratha and to savor the tasty pieces of fried dough they had remembered.
And like I mentioned at the beginning of this article, the parathas are good, but in this case the atmosphere of the chaotic maze of Chandi Chowk is part of the fun!

As there is a lot of advancement in technology, even the marketing strategies have changed a lot.It is also called Online Marketing. It is just promoting the products/brands through online to find potential customers and making the product reach the public. It changed the way the brands use technology for marketing. Digital marketing encompasses all marketing efforts that use an electronic device or the internet. Businesses leverage digital channels such as search engines, social media, email, and other websites to connect with current and prospective customers.
Digital marketing helps you reach a larger audience than you could through traditional methods, and target the prospects who are most likely to buy your product or service. Additionally, it’s often more cost-effective than traditional advertising, and enables you to measure success on a daily basis and pivot as you see fit. It’s main advantage is that we can reach only target audience.
SEO stands for “search engine optimization.” In simple terms, it means the process of improving your site to increase its visibility when people search for products or services related to your business in Google, Bing, and other search engines. The better visibility your pages have in search results, the more likely you are to garner attention and attract prospective and existing customers to your business. In Google and other search engines, the results page often features paid ads at the top of the page, followed by the regular results or what search marketers call the “organic search results”. Traffic that comes via SEO is often referred to as “organic search traffic” to differentiate it from traffic that comes through paid search.
The Internet has really put the world at our fingertips. We are usually not more than a few clicks away from almost any information we could be looking for. When people are looking for information, services, products, and so on, they go online. Search engines have spiders — not the creepy kind, but the automated robot kind. These spiders collect all kinds of information about your website and the pages that make up your site. This allows them to easily determine when to serve a searcher a page on your site.
India was in a critical situation because of the corona virus but now those who are affected by corona virus rating are falling down. The government has taken various steps to control the corona virus but all the steps have failed death rate was increasing because there were many people who are affected by corona virus there were no beds, no doctors, no oxygen, no medicine and no remedies. So many people died then in some places there were no place bury those who died by the affect of corona virus. This situation has changed a little because of lockdown and also all people are afraid that we too be affected by corona virus and die, so we can take vaccination so that at least we can save our lives. In India there are two vaccinations one is made in India that is Covaxin vaccination and another one is Covishield it was made by England and India. Another thing Sputnik vaccine from Russia it is also used in India because there is no enough Vaccination in India. Many people are showing intrest to vaccinate there are some who are not willing to vaccine. If we vaccinate we can protect others and ourselves because we are vaccinated in our body if there is corona virus the possibility of passing over to other person is very less and other thing if we are vaccinated and we are affected by corona virus it will not lead you to death or any serious conditions. Covaxin and Covishield both are good but there will be slight symptoms in our body because the vaccination should work in our body to protect us from the corona virus. There is some time of interval between two vaccines because the World Health Organization recommends there must be an interval of 3 to 4 weeks, but now it is extended beyond one month. Mainly those who are moving out from your house and old age people because they will be easily affected. Government is making many steps and keeping a target to achieve the goal that all the people in our country should be vaccinated. As a first step for their goal they are making awareness in villages that all should vaccinate. We know that in the first wave of corona virus there was huge people were admitted and some were died in America but now there is no such a huge number because they have vaccinated nearly half of the people in their country they are not asking any proof they are vaccinating all so the number is stable. India’s economy is falling down because all are staying in home so no work the prices of each thing we buy from any shop is raising because each and every person has faced many difficulties in this corona virus second wave. There is no way we have to come out of our house and work but safety is very important for all these situation there is only one solution it is none other than vaccination without vaccination we cannot fight against this corona virus there is no medicine for this virus. We have this vaccination, masks, social distancing and washing hand. We are already following these if we vaccine we can lead our life happily and safely.Vaccination is a good thing which is saving our life from corona virus.

The queen of Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh loved the color and asked the Maharaja to make a law that every house in Jaipur should be pink in color and use of any other color is illegal. The law was passed in the year 1877 and it is effective till today.

• State preparedness to manage the possible third wave of Covid-19 .
• Provides a real time analysis of data – few suggestions and strategies for effective management Delhi Administration’s policy responses .
• In January 2021 – first wave subsides – the need for hospitalisation of covid-19 patients fell drastically. Delhi administration was using less than 20% of its bed capacity.
• In February 2021 – Delhi Government reduced the bed capacity to the level of just above 5,000 • In March 2021 – health system collapsed – increase in the number of covid-19 cases hit by the second wave of pandemic.
• In April 2021 – bed occupancy went from 33% to over 90% Government – increased its bed capacity – could not keep pace with the rise in covid cases .
• In May 2021 – utilisation of government hospital beds went rapidly back to 30% Many other areas in the country were experiencing a rise in cases.
Inference
• COVID-19 waves require the health infrastructure to be elastic .
• Demand for COVID-19-specific health infrastructure is spatially varied – health capacity at a fixed location will not be sufficient.
• Conveys the difficulty that several administrations in the country face Hard to increase the capacity in response to the kind of surge – in April 2021 Key health infrastructures don’t exist in all areas in our country
Real time analysis of data .
• 145 districts – accounted for 75% of the cases during the 1st wave – Same accounted for up to 80% of cases during the 2nd wave. Permanently at risk Districts – districts that were hit by the 1st wave, affected in the 2nd wave to a greater extent Population size, density and mobility make them prone to rapid spread. Need reserve capacity and resources to be expanded – prevent any risk associated with possible 3rd wave
Suggestions
• Mobility framework – capacity to move healthcare facilities from one area to another Identify what resources can be moved – based on mobility costs and supply elasticity.
• Policy innovations in three areas Personnel management – Inducting trained final year medicine and nursing students – Rehiring of retired medical personnel – use paramedical workers Resources with high mobility costs need to be evenly distributed – ensure equity in access in poorly served areas Spatial equity Expanding the health infrastructure covering all regions Providing accessibility through enhanced regional and area connectivity .
• Leads to sharing of resources within the country – reduces inaccessibility and inequity. • Efficiency of resource-sharing increases with the area of coverage. States or districts – benefits of resource sharing is larger – coordinate and build trust among themselves.
• Greater institutional coordination for a long run is necessary Bodies such as the National Disaster Management Authority and the NITI Aayog could play a vital role.
