The Indian men’s national cricket team, also known as Team India and Men in Blue, is governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) status.
Cricket was introduced to India by British sailors in the 18th century, and the first cricket club was established in 1792. India’s national cricket team did not play its first Test match until 25 June 1932 at Lord’s, becoming the sixth team to be granted test cricket status. From 1932 India had to wait until 1952, almost 20 years for its first Test victory. In its first fifty years of international cricket, India was one of the weaker teams, winning only 35 of the first 196 Test matches it played. The team, however, gained strength in the 1970s with the emergence of players such as batsmen Gavaskar, Viswanath, Kapil Dev, and the Indian spin quartet.
Traditionally much stronger at home than abroad, the Indian team has improved its overseas form, especially in limited-overs cricket, since the start of the 21st century, winning Test matches in Australia, England and South Africa. It is second cricket team to win World Cup after West Indies. It has won the Cricket World Cup twice – in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev and in 2011 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. After winning the 2011 World Cup, India became only the third team after West Indies and Australia to have won the World Cup more than once, and the first cricket team to win the World Cup at home. It also won the 2007 ICC World Twenty20 and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. It was also the joint champions of 2002 ICC Champions Trophy, along with Sri Lanka. The team has also won the Asian Cup seven times, making them one of the most successful cricket team in both Asia and the world. They are also one of the only four teams to win all major ICC tournaments. India have also won the ICC Test Championship, ICC ODI Championship, ICC T20I Championship and the World Championship of Cricket in 1985.
The Indian cricket team has rivalries with other Test-playing nations, most notably with Pakistan, the political arch-rival of India. However, in recent times, rivalries with nations like Australia, South Africa and England have also gained prominence.
As we do have our favourite cricketer, we all have different tastes but mine is MS Dhoni (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) he’s the beat no one can’t beat him but as we see our current Indian team so these are the players:
1. Virat Kohli.
2. Rishabh pant.
3. Kl Rahul.
4. Subhman gill.
5. Rohit Sharma.
6. Ravichandran Ashwin.
7. Jasprit B.
8. Yuzvindra chahal.
9. Umesh Yadav.
10. Ravendra Jadeja.
11. Kedar Jadhav.
And so on there’s alot of players in our Indian cricket team. And our Indian cricket team is doing so well. And is considered as one of the best teams.
WHAT IS POPULATION The number of organisms of the same species that live in a particular geographic area at the same time, with the capability of interbreeding is called population.
HUMAN POPULATION: Human population refers to a collection of humans living in a particular geographic area. The social science that entails the statistical study of human populations is called Demography. Thus, human population is the number of people in a city or town, region, country or world; population is usually determined by a process called census (a process of collecting, analyzing, compiling and publishing data).
HUMAN POPULATION GROWTH The increase in the number of individuals in a population is population growth. Annual global human population growth amounts to around 83 million or 1.1% per year. In 1800 the global population was 1 billion which has rises to 7.9 billion in 2020. The UN projected population to keep growing, and estimated that by the middle of 2030, 2050 and 2100 the total population will rise to 8.6 billion ,9.8 billion and 11.2 billion respectively. But some academics outside the UN have developed human population models that shows the additional downward pressures on population growth. They also suggested that if this happens then the population would peak before 2100.
POPULATION EXPLOSION AND ITS CAUSE:
The sudden increase in population growth in an unmannered way is called population explosion.
Causes of population explosion: The causes of population explosion are as follows:- High Birth Rate The major cause responsible for the rapid growth of population is high birth rate. In India, the birth rate was found to be 45.8 per thousand during 1891-1900 and 25.8 per thousand in 2001, but still it is considered to be substantially high. This shows in spite of the increase in the widespread propaganda of family planning, family welfare programmes and population education campaigns, instead of a decrease in the birth rate it is increasing. 2. Low Death Rate The death rate in recent years has phenomenally fallen which is another important factor that leads to the rapid increase in population. The death rate in India was about 8.5 per thousand in 2001. But because of the advancement in medical science, dreadful and chronic diseases such as smallpox, cholera, plague, typhoid are no longer dreaded. Better facilities for sanitation and cleanliness, provision of pre-natal and post-natal care has also reduced infant mortality rate. 3. Early Marriage The practice of early marriage is another important reason for the rapid increase in population in India. The marriage of girls at an early age results in a longer span for reproductive activity and thus leads to an increase in the number of children. 4. Social and Religious reasons In India, marriage is a compulsory institution as per social norms.so people have to marry. Therefore, people do not hesitate to increase the size of the family as in a joint family everyone takes equal responsibility . Apart from this most people think that it is necessary to give birth to at least one male child so in expectatin of getting a male child, they go on increasing the family size. 5. Poverty Poverty is another cause of population growth. Children are source for income of the family. So instead of going to school they go to work and thus prove to be an asset for the family. This makes the parents believe that every child born will become an earning member of the family. 6. Standard of living People whose standard of living is low tend to have more children because an additional child is considered as an asset rather than a liability. Since majority is uneducated and think that every child born will become the earning member of the family they keep on increasing the family size. 7. Illiteracy Most of the people in India are either illiterate or has the minimum education. This leads them to accept low paying work but fails to support the family resulting poverty. Due to the prevalence of higher rate of illiteracy, there is widespread ignorance in the form of social customs and beliefs like early marriage and preference for a male child. As a result, there is high rate of population growth in the country.
IMPACTS OF POPULATION GROWTH ON ENVIRONMENT: Population growth leads to overconsumption that causes environmental concerns, such as biodiversity loss and climate change, due to resource-intensive human development that exceed planetary boundaries. The impacts of overpopulation and the environment are often interrelated and complex. Farming impacts If the population increases the need for food also increases. To meet the need of food intensive farming is done. This includes harmful mechanisation, chemical fertilizers and pesticides that degrades the soil quality causing soil erosion. This also leads to eutrophication that depletes water from oxygen having negative effects. To create new farmland deforestation is done resulting in a negative outcome. Agriculture is responsible for about 80 percent of deforestation. Deforestation Deforestation leads to a reduced ability to capture CO2, resulting in the increase of greenhouse gas problems. Deforestation is also strongly associated with loss of habitat and extinctions. Human population increase is related to all of these deforestation pressures. The more people we need, the more food, more wood products, and more firewood. Eutrophication The main cause of eutrophication is agricultural runoff caused by the presence of excessive nutrients in bodies of water. Eutrophication causes the dense growth of plant life that consumes oxygen, resulting in the death of aquatic animals. Other major sources of eutrophication are industry and sewage disposal–both related to population growth. Loss of Freshwater Although there are plenty of water resources, only 2.5 percent of water resources are fresh water, and only a small fraction of it is available as unpolluted for drinking purposes. This is because with the increase of Human population, human waste also increases which pollutes the water making it unsuitable for drinking. Also with the increase in population the need for drinking water increases thus water scarcity also increases. Global Warming Human population growth and climate change have grown hand in hand as the use of fossil fuels has exploded to support industrialized societies. More the number of people, the more is the demand for oil, coal, gas, and other energy sources extracted from below the Earth’s surface that spew carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere when burned, trapping warm air inside like a greenhouse. Most fossil fuel consumption comes from developed countries. It is a sobering thought that most developing nations aspire to similar industrial economies as they experience economic growth, which further escalates CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
PREVENTION:The population can be controlled by following measures. A. Social Measure: Population explosion is a social problem and it is deeply rooted in society.
1. Minimum age of Marriage: The minimum age of marriage should be raised because fertility depends on age of marriage. Fixed by the law the minimum age of men is 21years found 18 years for women. 2. Raising the Status of Women: Women should be given opportunities to develop socially and economically. 3. Spread of Education: The spread of education changes the outlook of people. The educated men will prefer to delay marriage and adopt small family norms. Educated women are health conscious and avoid frequent pregnancies and thus help in lowering birth rate.
4. Adoption: Some parents who do not have any children are advised to adopt the orphan children. It will be beneficial to orphan children as well as lower the population.
5. Change in Social Outlook: Social outlook of the people must be changed. Marriage should not be considered as social binding anymore.
6. Social Security: People should be covered under-social security schemes. So that they do not depend upon others in the event of old age, sickness, unemployment etc. with these facilities they will have no desire for more children.
B. Economic Measures: 1. More employment opportunities: The first and foremost measure is to raise the employment avenues in rural as well as urban areas. This step can check the population growth.
2. Development of Agriculture and Industry: If agriculture and industry are properly developed then a large number of people will be employed and when their income increases they would improve their standard of living and adopt small family norms.
3. Standard of Living: Improved standard of living acts as a deterrent to large family norms. In order to maintain their higher standard of living people prefer to have a small family.
4. Urbanisation: People in urban areas have a lower birth rate than those living in rural areas. Urbanisation should therefore be encouraged.
C. Other Measures: 1. Late Marriage: At the age of 30years,marriage should be solemnized. This will reduce the period of reproduction among the females bringing down the birth rate. 2. Self Control: Self control is a powerful method to control the population. It helps in reducing the birth rate.
3. Family Planning: This method implies family by choice and not by chance. People can regulate the birth rate by using preventive measures like cheap contraceptive devices for birth control etc.
4. Recreational Facilities: For many people sex is the only recreation of life which is responsible for a high birt rate. But the birth rate will fall if other recreational activities like cinema, theatre, sports and dance etc are available to the people. As a result of which people will not have sex for recreation reducing in lower birth rate.
5. Publicity:
The communication media like T.V., radio and newspaper will propagate the benefits of the planned family to the uneducated and illiterate persons especially in the rural and backward areas of the country.
6. Incentives: The govt. can give various types of incentives to the people to adopt birth control measures. This will result in small family norms reducing the birth rate.
7. Employment to Woman: If women are given employment they will get incentives for their work. This will keep them busy and is a good measure of population control. @track2traininginstitute @track2trainingseminar @edunewsnetwork
Music is the art of arranging sounds in time to produce a composition through the elements of melody, harmony, rhythm, and timbre. It is one of the universal cultural aspects of all human societies. General definitions of music include common elements such as pitch (which governs melody and harmony), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo, meter, and articulation), dynamics (loudness and softness), and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture (which are sometimes termed the “color” of a musical sound). Different styles or types of music may emphasize, de-emphasize or omit some of these elements.
Okay! So in simple words music gives us a thrilling experience, it lowers down our stress and gives us a reliefable experience. Many of us might have different-different artists. Different types, different tastes, but I love all the types of music. Depending upon the mood but you know we all have a phase where we do need a motivational song, Which motivates us, which gives us a idea that where we are and where do we have to go. Sometimes we need a song which make us feel good after a breakthrough it might be when you fought with your best friend may be your partner may be your siblings your parents, from those who mean alot to you.
And there are a lot of types of music it may be:
1. EDMs.
2. Motivational songs.
3. Romantic songs.
4. A breakthrough song.
5. Rock music.
6. A whole mood song. Which gives you a thrill and makes your legs move. That song will let you dance. It happened with me I was once travelling in the metro and I was using my earbuds and suddenly that song came and I was like ‘yea it’s a whole vibe’.
And etc etc there are many types of songs but yes for sure it depends upon our mood
So my moto to write an article on this topic was that if you’re angry sit alone listen to music if you’re happy listen to the music if you can’t handle things listen to the music if you’re in a phase you can’t tell anyone please listen to the music. It just lower down the stress and music is the only thing you’ll listen to at that time this is my experience.
As I’m going to start this blog I would love to say everyone is perfect in their own personality, in their own perspective, in their own decisions. So it’s been a long time I had passed my school and now persuing my passion (not a course) ‘my passion’ so let me tell what is the main topic I’m talking about but firstly I’ll tell you a story which is real, so I was studying in 10th and one of my closest friend I can’t revel his name but his intrest was in painting and then he was confused that ‘bro what should I take as a stream in 11th’ so I told him what you love or in which you have your interest, but he said my father is telling me to take PCM (science, math) and he wants to take humanity but he was confused because his dad said if you’ll took humanity then there’s no future! And his dad told him take science-maths and then you cout prepare for IIT and he took science-math and just because he want to become a engineer and want to earn money! And he wasn’t happy as he wasn’t able to paint because of his studies and he wasn’t that good in studies so he was trying very hard but I said why I mean if you love to paint and you wanted to take humanity as your stream then did you took science and math just for the sake of money and even you don’t have intrest in science maths then why and he said because of my father. And this is my experience ladies and gentlemen he took science and maths he studied very hard and gave the exam for jee and he failed because he wasn’t having that intrest in PCM. And on the other hand he haven’t painted for more than a year and when he gave his exam and came back home he took his brush and painted and I’ll that art was one of the best of my friend as he hasn’t painted for a while which is more than a year but,
As i said ‘IF YOU HAVE INTREST IN A PARTICULAR FIELD, YOU’LL DEFINITELY WIN’ but if you don’t have intrest in that particular field you’ll definitely lose doesn’t matter who much you work upon it ‘HAVING INTREST IS THE TOP FACTOR’
For example, if you don’t love to cook and your mom said son just cook tonight’s dinner and you know how to cook but you hate it than Tonight’s dinner would be for the dustbin. I’m damn sure! I don’t love to paint and if you’ll say please make my sketch. Then I don’t know what I’ll make but after making that Sketch you’ll disown me I know.
But why you guys just want yurselves to put yur souls, your hard-work, your precious time and obviously money, in those things where you don’t have any Intrest in. My today’s generation just want to become a engineer, doctor, or a IAS.
Okay so, let’s take an assumption, if my friend was passed in that jee exam and he was selected in a college and becomes an engineer and was doing his job properly but what do you think he used to be happy and prosperous okay if you was at his place were you used to feel good and happy. Guys invest yourselves in those materials where you’re good at and where you’ll love your thing. Its not about that we should not listen to our parents but sometimes we should listen to ourselves too.
INTRODUCTION:- The situation in which a person remains underprivileged from the basic necessities of life is called poverty. The person does not have an adequate supply of food to eat, shelter to stay, and clothes to wear. Most of the people in India are suffering from poverty. They cannot afford to pay even for a single meal a day. They sleep on the roadside and wear dirty clothes. They do not get healthy and nutritious food. They don’t get any medicine and other necessary things either.
POVERTY IN INDIA:- CAUSES OF POVERTY The rate of poverty in India is increasing because urbanisation is increasing everyday. The people from rural areas are migrating to cities to find better employment. To provide the necessary needs of the family these people end up getting an underpaid job or an activity that pays only for their food. Most importantly, around crores of urban people are below the poverty line and many of the people are on the borderline of poverty.
Maximum people who are suffering in these poverty live in low-lying areas or slums. Most of the people are illiterate and for this reason in spite of efforts their condition remains the same and there is no satisfactory result.
There are many more reasons which can be said as the major causes of poverty in India. These causes include corruption, growing population, poor agriculture, the wide gap between rich and poor, old customs, illiteracy, unemployment and many more. Many people are engaged in an agricultural activity but in comparison to the earnings of other employees they get paid very less.
The more the population is, the more need of food ,houses and money. The deficiency in these needs results in the high growth of poverty. Thus as a result the difference and gaps between the extra rich and extra poor keeps on increasing.
The rich are growing richer and the poor are getting poorer resulting in the formation of an economic gap that is difficult to fill up.
EFFECTS Of POVERTY:- Poverty affects the lives of people in many ways. It has various effects like illiteracy, reduced nutrition and diet, poor housing, child labor, unemployment, poor hygiene and lifestyle, and feminization of poverty, etc. These poor people are unable to afford a healthy and balanced diet, nice clothes, proper education, a stable and clean house, etc. because all these facilities require money and they don’t even have money to feed two meals a day.
EFFECTS OF POVERTY ON CHILDREN:- Poverty in India impacts children, families and individuals in a variety of different ways through:
High infant mortality Malnutrition Child labour Lack of education High infant mortality Every year at least 1.4 million children die in India before their fifth birthday. In addition to Nigeria, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and China, India is one of the countries with the highest child mortality rates. Most frequent causes of death of children are Pneumonia, malaria and diarrheal diseases as well as chronic malnutrition.
Malnutrition India is one of the world’s top countries when it comes to malnutrition. In India most of the people cannot afford to pay for even one meal. More than 200 million people don’t get adequate quantities of food among which 61million are children. 7.8 million infants were found to have a birth weight of less than 2.5 kilograms.
Child labour – no time to play and learn As we all know, in India child labour for children under the age of 14 is prohibited by law, 12.5 million children between the ages of 5 and 14 are working. In reality, there are more than 65 million children between 6 and 14 years old who do not go to school. Instead, for the sake of their family and to secure survival it is believed that Indian children contribute to the livelihood of their families; they work in the field, in factories, in quarries, in private households and in prostitution.
Lack of education – no opportunities without education According to UNICEF, about 25% of children in India cannot afford education. The number of children excluded from school is higher among girls than boys. Under Indian law, women and men are treated equally but in the lower social caste girls and women are considered inferior. They are dominated by their fathers, brothers and husbands. The chances of finding a living wage from employment in India is virtually hopeless without education.
Due to poverty, many parents encourage early marriages for their daughters in hopes of better lives for them.
THE SOLUTIONS FOR ENDING POVERTY:- For solving the problem of poverty it is necessary for us to act quickly and correctly. Some of the ways of solving these problems are to provide proper facilities to farmers. So that they can make profit from agriculture and do not have to migrate to urban cities in search of employment.
Illiterate people can live a better life if they are provided with required training. Everyone should follow family planning to check the rise in population. We should take measures to end corruption, so that we can deal with the gap between rich and poor.
CONCLUSION:- Poverty is not the problem of a single person but also of the whole nation.. We should deal with it on an urgent basis by taking effective measures. Eradication of poverty has become necessary for the sustainable and inclusive growth of people, society, country, and economy. @track2traininginstitute
The Family Man is an Indian ‘espionage action thriller streaming television series’ on Amazon Prime Video created, directed, and produced by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. who also co-wrote the story and screenplay with Suman Kumar, with dialogue penned by Sumit Arora and Suman Kumar. The series features Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man secretly working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictitious branch of the National Investigation Agency. It also stars Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Samantha Akkineni was hired for the second season of the series making her foray into the digital medium.
And to be honest it’s one of the best series I’ve had ever watched. Manoj Bajpayee is one of the finest actor of all the time. His acting gives a example to our new generation actors and he’s the god of acting for those who wants to become a actor.
From his struggle to his success, he implied all those thing he was willing to. And he has many awards and was nominated for best acting award (national award) for Gangs of Wasseypur. Rather than this all the actors/actresses in TFM1 and TFM2 contributes a huge part to make a series a super hit series of all the time. As in, Manoj Bajpayee Priyamani Samantha Akkineni Sharib Hashmi Neeraj Madhav Pawan Chopra Kishore Kumar G. Sharad Kelkar Devadarshini Gul Panag Shreya Dhanwanthary Sundeep Kishan Sanyukta Timsina Sunny Hinduja Abhay Verma Shahab Ali Ashlesha Thakur Vedant Sinha Aritro Rudraneil Banerjee.
All these actors/actresses had different roles and they had persued that particular Roel very well with pure perfection. And if you ask who is My favourite among these so I’ll obviously say Manoj Bajpayee. But rather than him I love the role and character of Sharib Hashmi. He had done his job very well and the way he acted was truly unconditional.
And one main point It is only and only streaming of Amazon prime. And if you ask me that ‘it’s a boring day’ what should we do then I’ll recommend you this series to watch both season one and two.
(CoV) are a large family of viruses that are causing illness in human beings. The symptoms of novel Coronavirus are common cold, headache and sometimes more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). This disease is so dangerous that it can cause death in case of severe infection. LOCKDOWN:- As the spread of Coronavirus was spreading day by day and there was no way to stop it other than causing lockdown. So our government decided to start a complete lockdown all over the country to stop spreading the infection. Not only did our country but also other countries decided the same as we all know that “Prevention is always better than cure”. Effects of lockdown in short:- When the lockdown was first announced people were initially happy but later everyone realized that this lockdown would have severe consequences on our daily life. The lockdown to prevent the spreading of Coronavirus is having various effects on different communities of People. Today I will say about the consequences in students’ life LIFE OF A STUDENT DURING LOCKDOWN:- During this coronavirus time, students ‘ lifestyles had changed a lot. At first all the students were very happy about the lockdown because schools and colleges would remain closed during this time. Everyone thought they could have an ash life, enjoying all day playing games, watching movies right from the morning to the night. Then suddenly we all realized that life without studies and meeting our loved ones are becoming very boring day by day, also all these entertainment games and movies would last for a short period of time and then we all started waiting for the unlocking situation to meet friends and relatives.
Slowly all the school and college authorities started initiating online classes. At first online classes felt better as there was a complete change in the situation of the class’s atmosphere. After a month we realized that there are lots of disadvantages and advantages to this type of education. Finally we realized that this virus is not a blessing to students but a foreshadow of the student’s further life to adjust to the Online mode of education. The shift in education is totally different from an education career. Advantages and disadvantages of online classes
ADVANTAGES: There are no significant advantages because there is a huge loss in jobs, lives, and the economy of the Country. But speaking about the children, there are some advantages. Students used their quality time in studying. They had also got time to explore the talents in them other than studying. We spent lots of time with our family. We all enjoyed the company of our grandparents, cousins, mother, father, and other relatives.Watching a movie along with the family and enjoying it can only happen now at this time. We could spend time with parents and explain career planning views.
Saving Time A lot of time is saved as now we don’t have to travel from one place to another. Instead we can spend five to six hours of the quality time for the online classes. And if we avoid watching movies and playing mobile games then we would also get time for self study that is also necessary.
DISADVANTAGES There are many disadvantages because there is a huge loss in jobs, lives, and the economy of the Country. Main disadvantages for students are
Online Classes One of the problems of online classes is adopting the online classes. The adoption rate is around 50-60% whereas in the classroom the adoption was around 80-90%. It also has adverse effects on the eyes of the students due to long hours in front of the blue screen. The interest in classes does not grow in the small children as the primary grades have low concentration power, and also it is very harmful for these small kids to sit for a longer time in front of the blue screen.
There are many poor students who do not have access to laptops and computers; and for this reason they are lagging in their studies.
There are even more disadvantages of the online classes like- There are no exams; internals are giving marks. This may impact their career in the feature. And finally, students are missing their happiest days in the schools and colleges. We all are hoping that the government will make good decisions on education with clear instructions as early as possible to avoid the situations that occurred by Covid-19 pandemic. @track2traininginstitute@edunewsnetwork
Some experts are also with the opinion that it could become the dominant strain in most of the parts of the world.
Okay, let’s keep this aside but do you think that this unlock would give us the better results, I’m neutral here as, the economy of the India is important I know it’s important but the lives of our Indians is the most important thing. Giving it a basic trail if you’ve have heard about those individuals and who were so happily living their lives who used to sing, dance, cook and etc etc. But after a few days they were no more you might heard it from your parents from your relatives from your friends that, that particular guy isn’t here with us he/she died due to covid and even when they were treated with the best medicines, from our best doctors but we all know from where does it started so let me tell you being careless about this pandemic would make you sit on the bed, so let me tell you my experience around 5-6 days ago me and my friend we were going for a morning walk and he removed his mask saying that he’s strong he won’t be having covid. I mean guys we have to be honest with ourselves that are we giving our best ladies and gentlemen please take care of yourselves:
Make sure you are wearing a proper mask.
Make sure you are washing your hands.
Make sure you are done with your doses (vaccination)
Make sure you are not going outside without any need.
Make sure you and your family are safe. And our nation is your family too.
INTRODUCTION:- There are many materials that are used to support life on earth and meet our needs called Natural resources. E.g.Oil, coal, natural gas, metals, stone sand, air, sunlight, soil and water. Animals, birds, fish and plants are also natural resources Types of natural resources:- There are many ways to classify natural resources. On the basis of the resource availability and and its uses natural resources are classified into two types. They are as follows: Renewable Natural Resources: The resources that are present in unlimited quantities and can be replenished naturally or can be sustained over a short period of time are called renewable natural resources. E.g., air, water, sunlight, soil, biomass, geothermal. Non-renewable Natural Resources: The natural substances that are present in limited supplies and these are not replenished with the speed at which it is consumed. It is a finite resource. E.gFossil fuels such as coal, petroleum, and natural gas. NATURAL RESOURCES DEPLETION: We are using natural resources endlessly everyday. Explosion of population is causing overexploitation of natural resources and with little or no care is being taken to conserve them. Therefore natural resources are depleting to meet the needs of a huge population. However, we need to understand that natural resources are finite. Even to meet the population’s needs , renewable resources are not getting enough time to replenish . Thus, we can even wonder what the condition of non-renewable resources might be. So we can say that this depletion of natural resources is quite harmful to the earth and its inhabitants. Impact of depletion of natural resources: Minerals are being used rapidly as we need it for almost everything from housing to business. Thus, a major decline in these minerals like coal, copper etc are being noticed. If we do not conserve them completely, one day we will run out of all of them.
Similarly, the oil reserves are also running out. We won’t be able to produce more oil and thus we won’t get any petroleum. The prices will increase and many economies will crumble due to this lack of resources.
Similarly, the rate of cutting of forests is increasing day by day. Cutting down the Aarey forest in Mumbai is a major example. The damage caused as a result of this deforestation is quite dangerous. This will increase the carbon dioxide levels and alter the water cycle on earth. The day is very near when we will face frequent floods and soil erosion which will decrease our biodiversity.
Most importantly, the way of wasting water needs to be checked right away. Many countries are facing a water crisis and we know that life is impossible without water. The farmers won’t get enough water for irrigation. This results in famine and many more deadly consequences. We must not waste these resources. We should always find ways to prevent the depletion of natural resources.
WAYS TO PREVENT DEPLETION OF NATURAL RESOURCES:- There are many ways by which we can prevent the depletion of natural resources. The ways are as follows:- We should reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. This can be done by stopping wastage of electricity. We should try to use carpool with your neighbors or relative and travel public transport instead. We should stop polluting water. The freshwater bodies are running out of clean water. We must organize cleanliness drives to clean the water of these bodies. We must not let the tap run for a long time. The industries must be banned from dumping their toxic waste into the water. Furthermore, we must stop taking long showers and bath using a bucket The most important thing is we should plant more trees and preserve our existing forests. We must not let anyone to cut down. They are a very important natural resource needed for human survival. We must use less paper to avoid cutting down of trees. We can all come together and prevent this depletion of natural resources because this depletion of natural resources is very harmful for our future. Thus depletion of natural resources can have a very harmful consequences in future so from now onwards we must start to preserve all of them.
Abusing is something which is injurious, harmful or offensive to a person, animal or environment. Abuse is mainly of three types- Social, domestic and sexual violences. Social abuse is something that prevents a person from keeping contact with friends, relatives. Sexual abuse is the harrasment that is experienced sexually. Sexual harassment includes molestation, abusive sexual behaviour by one person upon another. Any sexual behaviour done by one person without another person’s consent is molestation. Trying to have sexual contact against another person’s consent is rape. (Woman rapes a man )- this percentage is much more than (man rapes a woman). Domestic Violence is the torture a person face mentally, physically, psychologically, emotionally etc. The most common abuse a person face nowadays are sexual harassment and domestic violence. Domestic violence is a crime but the laws vary between jurisdiction for men and women.
Domestic Violence Against Men:- Domestic violence occurs when a family member, partner or ex-partner dominates the other one mentally, physically or psychologically. In maximum cases the victim is ashamed or afraid of further abuse. For this reason they don’t report the abuse. Domestic Violence has different ways of occurrence but the effects are always negative. We all know as standard “man” is the abuser and woman is “abused”. There are many men who are suffering from domestic violence emotionally and physically from their partner. Domestic violence against men remains unrecognised in most cases since men are scared of embarrassment, lack support. Due to these stereotypical male images, men don’t have the courage to file a report against domestic violence. Society is aware of male victims but treats him as a joke thus making him feel insecure, ridiculous and embarrassed. MYTHS : There are certain myths regarding violence. We always expect men to take all the responsibilities of their actions. When a female is violent society has lots of excuses to support the woman like postnatal depression, mood swings, stress etc but when a man gives the same excuse we do not accept it even if he is really suffering from depression and stress. PARENTING: When a woman is violent we don’t say she is a bad mother but when the same thing happens with a man we automatically assume him to be a bad parent. If a man is a victim of domestic violence , during the separation with his partner the woman gets the legal custody of their children. The man is left with no other option except to leave the house. So we can also say that fear of losing the child is also a reason for which a man doesn’t file a report against domestic violence. WHY DO MAN STAY IN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP? This question cannot be answered very easily. If a man is harassed physically or sexually by his wife or partner, no one will believe him.No one will support him and make him feel ridiculous. There are many reasons why men don’t report abuse. They are as follows- Fear of disbelief Fear of being denied access to their children Fear of being judged Fear of revenge by the abuser Fear of false allegations against him Fear of being left alone and homeless. EFFECTS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ON MEN : The adverse effects of the abuse can be very long lasting. Men who have been abused by someone often suffer from different traumas like low self-esteem, anger, sleeping problems, inability to work, depression, joblessness. Sometimes this effects become so depressing that it may destroy a man’s career causing him to attempt suicide. UNRECOGNITION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST MAN : Violence against men remains unrecognised because of many reasons such as- It has taken years of advocacy and support to encourage women to report the abuse but literally no one is there to support a man. People don’t even think that men can also be victims of domestic violence. For this reason many men don’t even attempt to report the situation. In some cases physical damage becomes less apparent for which we do not believe them. Even if they report, they don’t get any support and help from anyone, not even the social workers or the law and most importantly they are not believed by anyone. SOCIETY REACTION : If men file a report against the violence they are met with discrimination and disbelief. Usually people’s reaction would be about men’s size, that he may deserve this for his previous dids and all. Even the police don’t believe the man and say in support of a woman. CONCLUSION : Even if a man takes various actions to stop domestic violence, these attacks will not stop. Abused men are not cowards but their actions can be misinterpreted. It is a pity to see a strongest man succumb to the old fashioned way of thinking. If they report they will be seen as well. Laws should be applied regardless of gender so that many women will think twice before abusing a man if they knew they could be arrested like any men in the same situation. Domestic Violence against men is a topic that many people will not be willing to start. Abuse is abuse no matter to whom it is done. Men are disadvantaged and the hurdles they are facing are almost impossible to overcome. So to stop Domestic Violence against men at first we have to believe them. They are also human beings and they do feel depressed. So we must not be biased to a particular gender and must not ignore men’s emotions. Social workers and police must be educated about the fact that men can also be a victim. Maybe this could change the lives of many men who are the victims of domestic violence.
