Body shaming is nothing less than a crime.
‘Look at her she is so fat.’ ‘look at him , is so dark and skinny.’ ‘ just look at that girl she is so short .’

Ever heard these? I hear them daily and it’s either about my self or a group of people or a person talking , to be more clear gossiping about some one else.
So the society expects one to be perfect ,like fair color, good height and slim and fit ,but are every one built in the same way? of course no , just like all the five fingers of our hand are different ,every human being is different and beautiful in their own ways.
If a girl is dark the whole society gives advices ,how to become fair ,if she or he is fat they are given advices about how to reduce weight , if skinny then how to increase their weight, if short ,how to become tall , I just keep wondering if the society has problem with every one’s appearance ?
From my personal experience , I can tell you that I faced such things , I was bullied in my school by my classmates , my friends and even my relatives bullied for my appearance , I could not tolerate them and even I cried due to that , and used to be envious of others for their personalities. I too wanted to achieve what they had and for that I used to skip meals some times and due to that I would feel more hungry than ever and used to over eat. As the time passed I started to accept my body and for my health and fitness , I took healthy steps in my life and started exercising and developing good healthy food habits.

I understood that everyone is beautiful in their own ways and its something that everyone has to accept , I understood that this bullying and body shaming is not good , not for your mental neither for your physical health, body shaming can lead to mental health issues , people start to overthink and worry about their appearance and in order to look perfect and beautiful they will choose faster and dangerous ways , like trying to reduce fat in just a week or trying to increase height and all this is really dangerous for one’s health and can lead to other dangerous consequences.
People of every gender and of all ages must deal with body shaming , it not a big issues , but this can damage one’s mental health the one at whom we are laughing at , whom we are body shaming, or mocking, this may also lead to emotional damage and trauma and depression.
So who are the culprits behind this , one is the society and the other is we ourselves , the product advertisers are the main ones for creating a pain point and then offering a solution to it, making ourselves think that we are not worthy and if we are not of certain skin tone ,height or weight and all , secondly we have ourselves to blame because we do not believe in ourselves and our bodies and we do not treat them well , we do not accept ourselves for how we are and then all this leads to a solution to overcome our issues and that too in a quick and unhealthy way ,leading to more disasters .
I just want the society to accept everyone as they are and to appreciate everyone’s personality since its unique for everyone and to stop body shaming or bullying . Society can be more beautiful if we accept people how they are and try not to change their appearance and instead help build confidence with in them about how unique they are and how to accept and love your body . Not only the society but firstly you yourself have to accept your body and treat it in a proper way and you have to love yourself the way you are , because self love comes first and you have to your first priority.

One Person I’M Glad I Met
Then I realized that God tested those who are capable, then I took care of myself and I know that the person I met, I am glad that I am not different … when a person meets himself or finds himself, it means that he finds everything that feeling makes him very happy. My life took a new direction and I met a man, and then I was glad that I met this guy … this guy seemed like an angel to me. You showed me that someone is capable of being interested in me, although I am convinced that I am a girl that no one will ever love. Without him I wouldn’t be who I am and for that I feel blessed. He made me better than I am proud of today, and if not for him, perhaps I would not be who I am. I know there is only one person who made me feel this way and I want to meet him. I have created so many people in my life, but there is a person, a soul that beats me today, my mother.
I have and still have many people who have left their mark on my life, but there is one person, one soul, that stands out to me today – this is my mother. The sweetest soul speaks the language of love, and the strongest soul protects those she loves. You are the only person in my life who means everything to me and I can spend every day with you. If there’s one thing I’ll give you forever, it’s my love, my heart and my soul.
I have never felt this way before, my love for you is pure and I am so happy to have found you. I have never loved anyone so much and I am so glad you are in my life. Even if things don’t go my way, I’ll still be happy for you. You are the one I fight the most and you are also my best friend. A friend like you I love to death and will never let go. Friends like you are the ones who open my eyes and help me avoid bad things.
But out of everyone I’ve met so far, I’m proud to say I’ve met the best friend of my life. For this reason, I can proudly say that I have met a great friend in my life. A friend of mine from childhood, we haven’t been in touch for thirty years, twenty-nine to be exact. We couldn’t meet and one of my closest friends brought me food and apologized for not being able to eat together.
When my dog passed away this summer, I had one of my best and oldest friends by my side. A friend of mine from childhood and her husband called me every day, sometimes two or three times a day, just to make sure she was okay. Sometimes I feel lonely and there is no one to talk to or ask for help, and there are always people who call me out of the blue and ask how I’m doing. The only person I’ve ever met is one of the best friends in my life, and I love another side of myself, even more.
The only person I am happy to meet is one of my best friends, life, love, significant other. Today – today I am grateful for every friend that has been a part of my life, from the smallest to the oldest. To be honest, I don’t know how I would have gotten this far without each of them.
So, I will start with those whom I met when I was open to the outside world. So if I were to start listing them as the best people I’m happy to meet, the list would be quite large.
Thanks to both of the two important people mentioned above, I have found my real me and am happy to meet my real me, hidden and bound by these imaginary chains and cages. You showed me what it’s like to meet someone and form an immediate and undeniable connection with them. If there was a way to look into my heart with my eyes, you would know how special you are to me. I am happy that I told her the last time we met that I would take care of her.
These have been months of my life filled with mistakes, regrets and great happiness. As I get to know you better, I realize that you don’t let your work enter your mind, sometimes you close your book and go out to dinner with your friends, or just go to bed to watch your friends and enjoy Phoebe Buffy’s quirks . When I first met you, I realized that you refused to stop until you had done all the work you were supposed to do.
I met up with friends, went out to dinner, had impromptu meetings, last minute trips, late night calls, video calls, sometimes just calling to see my pets. However, over the course of a year we became best friends, and gradually I felt that I became more open. My friends came home, came to my room and said that no one would move from there until I decided to leave.
I met my friend at dinner and the time went by so quickly that it felt like five minutes had passed. We only met when one of my closest friends found me something to eat and apologized for not being able to attend the meal.
And I’m glad that it is, because it would be very difficult to find another friend like her. It’s hard to find the same energy with someone because we all have different personality traits. I hope everyone has a person/friend or loved one they can always rely on.

Our personality directly or indirectly depends on our acceptance of our image. If we accept and love ourselves, then we will possess a warm and pleasing personality, resulting in adjusting and being able to survive in society. Bernard Shaw once observes, “keep yourself clean and bright for you are the window through which you see the world.”

Society, the people around us, the people with us all impose their identity, feelings, emotions, and mentality into our individuality which may prove beneficial or fatal for our personality. A well-balanced self-image is one of the essentials of a well-balanced personality.
We all are different, we all are unique and that uniqueness of ours makes us beautiful and perfect incorporated with imperfections. We need to accept ourselves more than we focus on others’ validation.

When it comes to Organizations, attitudes are important. When we think Job is important, we need to change our attitude, according to the sequence with the knowledge development. Performance can be enriched when one commits towards the job.

We as human beings have thousand of attitudes, but Organizational behavior focuses on a very limited number of that form positive or negative evaluations that employees hold about their work environment. Much of the research has looked at three attitudes Job Satisfaction, Job involvement and Organizational commitment. Other important attitudes include perceived organizational support and employee engagement.
The job satisfaction is said to be a positive feeling about evaluating job characteristics while a person with the negative feeling shows less job satisfaction. Employees with high job involvement strategy, identify, with care about the kind of work they do, they enjoy themselves.
An employees’ asset is the true satisfaction as if it were separate from life satisfaction, but they may be more related to think. Life satisfaction decreases when people become unemployed, according to research in Germany, and not just because of the loss of income. Research in Europe says that job satisfaction is positively correlated with the life satisfaction, and your attitudes and experiences in life spill over into your job approaches and experiences.

- You can work on your attitude to either improve your experience or find a positive perspective.
- Write down everything you hate about your job, but wait for a few days off so that you can get a more objective view important.

We are all reactors to nature i.e. Whenever we hear a sound or noise, we tend to hear it, see what it is, at first case we feel it. The Moon’s light falls on the river, as the river is with waves, we couldn’t see the reflection clearly. Likewise, many things affect us externally for a stationary time; escaping from the trap make us find who we are and understand what we are.
WHERE TO DO MEDITATION?
“Arrange a separate, isolated room if possible. Sleeping, eating and entering the room without bathing should be totally avoided; keep it orthodox” says Swami Vivekananda. But in an era as such, it goes hardly possible. As there is a will, there is a path; take any place which is distraction free especially from the digital world. Make sure that while starting meditation, anger, worry or any other emotion should be avoided. Mind and heart should be neutral.
THE FIRST THING TO DO:
First, leave heart to wander around in its own direction. Slowly monitor them, keenly observe as its the prior idea to start it. Without knowing what your soul is doing, controlling it is impossible. There may be vivid, evil thoughts too, which to encounter may be shocked in the beginning. As you continue with the process, you can feel its reducing potency. Things get into your control and you become only yours.The Mind gets unaffected by extrinsic factors. First believe that your body is rigid and with it you can realize all that is possible in the world.
How to seek happiness in life.

Staying happy is way more difficult than we think it is. Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows and a never-ending cycle of work and the pressure of society. In between all these things we need to find happiness as well that gives meaning to our life. Without staying happy we can not live our life to the fullest.
Try out something new or something different from your daily life and incorporate certain habits in your life that will help you to stay satisfactory and earn happiness in life.

Avoid comparing yourself to others
This is easier said than done, but try to avoid comparing your social life to anyone else’s. It’s not the number of friends you have or the frequency of your social outings that matters. It’s what works for you.
Remember, you really have no way of knowing if someone with a bunch of friends and a stuffed social calendar is actually happy.

Take a step back from social media
Social media isn’t inherently bad or problematic, but if scrolling through your feeds makes you feel left out and stressed, take a few steps back. That feed doesn’t tell the whole story. Not by a long shot.
You have no idea if those people are truly happy or just giving the impression that they are. Either way, it’s no reflection on you. So, take a deep breath and put it in perspective.
Perform a test run and ban yourself from social media for 48 hours. If that makes a difference, try giving yourself a daily limit of 10 to 15 minutes and stick to it.

With the millions of the resources in the world, plenty of opportunities which we have in the world behind us and it really becomes silly when we start making small or selfish dreams. No one would like to carry waste things in the Audi right! Even though it has the capacity to withstand it, we won’t do it as it does not perfectly. If some things are accepted by many it is not that we are also supposed to do that. Check out your time, area of interest and do great things because we are having power to do that.
DISCOVER YOUR DREAM:
When we come to know about what dream is actually, we can start realizing the true power of it. We start living in it to the maximum. Sometimes, we never realize the amazing talent inside us, we are all only learnt to see others talents and admire them which makes us to behave small and worthless before others. This kind of attitude is to be removed once when you realize at once.
Passion is what your dream is! We are able to distinguish between the real and the fake dream. If so, then we are also able to find the way for our dream. Successful persons are those who have a burning passion with dream inside them and that’s why they are successful today and that success should not be a narcissistic one.
Make a little star in you to shine bright in the darkest times. You are still unique even though we live in the mid of varied of varied people. It is good to dream, but better to dream and work. Faith is might but action is mightier. This is because action speaks louder than words.

Need for independence

With the growing physical and mental development an adolescent wants to express his opinion independently, to take part in different social activities and to become self-dependent like any adult member of the society. On attaining adolescence, the child who earlier used to depend on his elders, finds himself full of life and energy and cannot help but to take part in the diverse activities of the society. Thus, he defies the dominance of his elders and wants to proceed in life independently
Need for self-recognition

The adolescents not only want to take part in different social activities but also want self-recognition. They want to attract attention of other people by showing their abilities. The children in adolescence want to project themselves before the society in such a way so that people can appreciate their qualities and give them due respect and recognition.
Need for self-expression

There is a great desire among the children in adolescence to express their feelings, thoughts and ideas. At this age, every child wants to express himself in his area of proficiency like sports, dramatics, studies, music, literature, art or any other medium.
Need for social life

One of the important needs of adolescents is to take part in the greater social environment. Before entering into the age of adolescence, children do not get much scope to mix with people outside their family. But as they attain adolescence children want to experience the greater social-life and want to get involved closely in different social activities. This need for social life gets an outlet when the adolescents involve themselves in the activities of different social institutions like club, social welfare committee, community service etc.
Need for self-reliance

Another important need of children in adolescence is the need for self-reliance. There is a great desire among the children of this age to become self-reliant as soon as they attain puberty. And they start dreaming about their future professions and the ways to establish themselves in their respective fields. The children of this age are also very eager to acquire professional qualifications according to their choice.
Need for Philosophy of life, morality and need to know the unknown

The children in adolescence want to have a philosophy of life, a clear concept of morality and want to know all the things which are unknown to them. They have a lot of inquiries regarding the basic purpose of life. They want to know how human life can be goal-directed and what is the main aim of life. When the children attain puberty, they also indulge in a great deal of thinking over the concept of right and wrong, good and bad. Adolescence is one of the important stages of growth and development of the child. At this stage a unique disturbance develops in the mind of the child. You know what is lacking in today’s generation ? It’s not hark work guys , it’s patience rather. Patience (or forbearance) is the ability to endure difficult circumstances. Patience may involve perseverance in the face of delay; tolerance of provocation without responding in disrespect/anger; or forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Having the ability to be patient and continue on the journey towards achieving your goals can help you understand that consistent hard work and reflection will generate successful outcomes in your life. If your just expecting everything to come to you within a short period of time, you will end up sadly disappointed and frustrated when a setback or challenge comes your way. Having Impatience can lead you down a road of disappointment and you will eventually give up on achieving that goal or starting up that business. If you are patient enough then whatever the problem is , you will pass it with flying colors. Being impatient leads to greater problems & greater problems leads to stress & then & there stress leads to health issues . Your whole life depends on how patient you are , & it is your patience only which decide how efficient you are in solving a particular problem
It is very sad to know that today’s generation is lacking patience , when they want a particular item then they want , irrespective of the their age group or their understanding of that item , this is what lacking patience means . If they are trying their hand at some new place , there also they lack patience , they want the result early & this urge of getting every thing at first leads to hurdles in their way.
The skill of patience is not only important in life but also in forming strong personal relationships with your friends, partner, employees, family, and other important people who are in your life. Expressing patience towards them shows how caring and supportive you are towards them. Being impatient brings frustration in your life & hampers you inner peace. Bring inner peace into your life and stress less by being patient. Your mind and body will thank you for it in the long run. The skill of patience can be hard to master but developing that skill overtime can really help you out in your life. Being patient will help you taking better decision in you life. So here we can conclude that being patient enough will lead to better mental health .

We all fail at some point. It’s unavoidable and definitely not a pleasant experience. Our self-confidence and self-esteem might hit the ground. Constant questions of self-doubts arises. But any kind of failure can be an amazing opportunity for growth and development when we approach it the right way.
Here are few things to remember when something doesn’t go your way.
FAILURE IS NOT FATAL
It’s never too late to re-start and pursue your dreams and goals, in one way or another. If you look around there always be hidden opportunities waiting for you to showcase your abilities and skills. There will always be another chance, and this time you can approach with greater readiness and experience. Remember that everything happens for a reason, each opportunity has something to teach you.

LEARN YOUR LESSON
One of the greatest advantages of failures, is that it makes you wiser. It gives you a chance to question yourself about the faults in the process and gives you a chance to re-invent and re-discover yourself. Helps you consider your situations from multiple perspectives. This is also the time when you seek for help from trusted friends and colleagues for their inputs and reviews.
BE PREPARED FOR THE WORSE
It is harder to accept failure when you did not consider it be one of the outcomes of your process. Confidence is a good trait but being fully prepared for any outcome is helpful since this mindset will help you avoid feeling devastated when something doesn’t turn out the way you envisioned it.
Always keep a plan B and act on it immediately. This doesn’t mean that you need to give up or have a defeatist attitude, just to be ready for any outcome. This might help you have a backup or consider your resources more carefully than if you go all in.
NOTHING IS PERSONAL
A problem with failure is that we see it as something that reflects on us and our personal failings. But just as often, our failure happens due to factors that have nothing to do with us. Maybe we offer something that is not wanted or maybe there are objective circumstances that change the situation beyond our control. Learn from your mistakes but don’t pin each situation solely on yourself. By Acknowledging that we don’t have control over the world, we can become resilient and focused on what’s within out purview.

BE KIND TO YOURSELF
Approaching the failure with compassion is an important thing to remember. Often, we are really harsh to ourselves and that discourages us from trying again or learning from the mistakes we made.

Failure is not pleasant but is significant, and looking at any story of success, we will always find the failures that built it. See it as a necessary step, a chance to learn, and you will bounce back better and faster.

What is Body Positivity?

Hardly, anyone can say these days they love themselves the way they are or they love their bodies. Everyone now wants a flawless body. Every time a woman saw another woman walking on the street back then, she would walk away. But now ever time a woman sees another woman, all they notice is whether she is slim or fat. Realizing a woman has slimmer body, you question your size and beauty because that’s what society thinks is an acceptable size for a woman. This idea of being socially accepted through disregard for overweight bodies is what lead to body shaming, also known as Fat Shaming. This action of humiliating not only one’s appearance but other people’s appearance as well resulted in damaging people’s perception about self-love irrespective of size, shape or color. Sadly, women are not the only victims of body shaming. Men go through this emotional trauma as well.
Over the years, people have been emotionally struggling. They have been too hard on themselves to look perfect. They thought the only way they could be accepted by the society is if they lose weight and maintain unrealistic body standards. To challenge this society’s view on bodies and promotion of acceptance of all body sizes, Body Positivity had emanated.
The history of Body Positivity dates back to 1960’s. It emerged with the Fat Rights Movement. A man from New York was unhappy with the way people treated his wife because she was overweight. He handed out copies of an article he had right about a man who had been going through the same problem. Soon, he gathered people and created an association for fat Americans. It’s focus was to address the culture of people discriminating on the basis of their size and shape. In 2012, Body Positivity had gained . But, this time it was supported by people across the world through social media. The message of this movement now focused on ‘all bodies are beautiful’.
Social media played a pivotal role in increasing the popularity of body positivity. It helped people from various parts of the world to share their stories and be part of this movement. The concept of body positivity was foreign to most of the people. There were people who were severely affected by the constant criticism. Body Positivity Movement gave them a voice they were looking for.
However, body positivity has always been misunderstood by the people. It is limited to not one definition. It can mean accepting yourself they way you are or loving and feeling confident in your body. Though, body positivity strives to change people’s perspective about certain bodies, it focuses on self-acceptance and self-love. Embrace your flaws and love yourself unconditionally.
How do I a start journey of self-love?
- Think positively about your body. Do not let anybody tell you are fat. Speak for yourself.
2. Exercise not to be thin but to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It is not about the size, but about your mental and physical health.
3. Be around positive people. The more you are with negative people, the more negative vibes you get. Avoid negative self-talk.
4. Focus on yourself. Think about the things you love and are passionate about.
5. Always love yourself and embrace your true beauty.
