How social media has changed OUR society!

Gone are the days when our youth were surviving under the influence of their luminaries worshiping. They used to make their physique, dress style and hair style close to the look of adorable personas from film industry, besides imitating their talking style close to their praised one. ‘Social media’ has risen like a tempest and has engulfed all the existence of so-called superstars till date. Social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google +, Tumblr, Instagram, gaming sites, and blogs have given openings to common people to earn name and fame and thereby resulted in the rise of social media influencers.

Social media influencers are honking on every nook and corner and overpower people from all walks of life especially youngsters. Nobody gets respite, not even the renowned film celebrities who are joining with influencers to promote their films.

IMPACT OF SOCIAL MEDIA ON YOUTH:

Study Shows:

  • The average person now spends more time each day on their phone and computer than they do sleeping.
  • The average time spent on social networks per day: 1.72 hours (in 2015).
  • The average number of hours a teenager spends online per week: 27 (2015).

Social media has become a prominent part of life for many young people today. Most people engage with social media without ending to think what positive or negative consequences it confers on our lives. Are we as a society becoming more concerned with Facebook “friends” than we are with the people we interact with face-to-face in our daily lives? What will the long-term effects of today’s social media use be?

There are many positive aspects, but there are equally as many hazards that come with the addiction of the sites.

THE POSITIVES OF SOCIAL MEDIA:

ACADEMIC SUPPORT:

It helps a teacher team up and communicate easily with students and one another. Students exploit a free access to the treasure of resources online to help them upgraded. A big chunk of students uses social networking to discuss informative topics, hence complete their school’s/colleges’ assignments.

POLITICAL UPDATES

Social media eases political change. Online networks give social movements a quick and cheap method of broadcasting information and mobilizing people.

AWARENESS SUPPORT:

Social media keeps us updated about the significant things that are working across the globe currently or maybe in our neighbourhood. Social media enables and authorizes individuals to bring a modification within themselves and their societies.

SOCIAL BENEFITS:

Social media allow people to interconnect with friends and the increased online communication strengthens those relationships. People make new friends. A report says 57% online teens make new friends online.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES:

A boon for professionals who love marketing, connecting, and finding business opportunities. Social media sites have created thousands of jobs and new avenues of income for all and sundry.

THE NEGATIVES OF SOCIAL MEDIA:

A DAMAGE TO WORK AS WELL AS SCHOOL:

Media created weakness has compelled students to cheat on school assignments. Study shows, for every 93 minutes over the average 106 minutes spent on Facebook daily, college students’ grades dropped .12 points.

On another study, students who went online while studying, have scored 20% lower on tests. Social networking sites have harmed employees’ productivity. Record says 51% of users between 25-34 years age group use to check social media frequently at work place.

GROWING NEED OF PRIVACY:

People, especially the young, are often too open and public with personal information when online.

USERS EXPOSED TO CRIME:

Social networking sites allow hate groups to recruit and distribute propaganda online. Unauthorized sharing and copyright infringement threatens intellectual property and causes loss of income. Security attacks such as hacking, identity theft, phishing scams, and viruses are common online.  Criminals use social media to commit crimes.

SOCIAL DAMAGES:

Cyber-crimes and Cyber-oppression (the use of electronic communication to torment someone, usually by sending threatening messages) are commonplace online, cause emotional disturbance, and sometimes even lead to suicide. Sometimes some online duels eventually turn into a physical confrontation. Children are the worst suffers and are at higher risk for depression, low self-esteem, and eating disorders which ultimately pushes them to be isolated and disconnected (especially youth with disabilities).

MISINFORMATION:

Occasional spread of false rumours, unreliable information and news on social media misguide a vast majority of social media hunters. It encourages unprofessional medical advice and self-diagnosis of health problems, which can be dangerous and life-threatening.

ADVERTISING:

Studies have shown that sites such as Facebook stimulates us, via advertisements, to spend more money. Advertisers gain all kinds of personal information about us via our social media, so, they persuade us to buy their product in due course.

A WASTE OF TIME:

Time flows out uncontrollably from the clutches of the promising citizens due to the bigger exposure to social media. A great chunk of unproductive efforts kills their survival enthusiasm and push them in some lonely corner.

So, for the social media, I think, there is a crucial need of the dissemination of an awareness campaign among mass. Let everyone be alerted about the pros and cons of the social media, its use and disuse, it merits and demerits, its benefits and detriments. We must not forget our sacred rituals, brotherhood, integrity, social duties and responsibilities and all those things which pull ourselves to the higher steps of humanity. After all, safety, security, progress and development of a society do not depend upon any media, rather great thoughts, powerful leadership and practical positivity pave the way for greater citizen and wider tomorrow.

THE ART OF NATURE

Helloooo guys!! Hope you all are doing good😊.

Before we jump right into the topic .

I have a few questions to ask.

What do you think is the most popular pick for any photographer or an artist?
From where do you think are the musicians getting inspired from?

Why is the sun shining so bright in the morning and it’s so dark in the night?
Why are the water bodies blue? Why are trees green?

Ok ok I asked too many questions, haha sorry guys
I will ask only one question .

Why is the nature so beautiful?

All this points to only one thing that is

” The art of NATURE”

It’s the art of nature because the nature is deciding the beautiful and colourful strokes needed for the beings to live.

Nature has everything that is needed to be learnt by us humans .Every aspect of it is something special.

“Nature is magic.”

Nature has many qualities like discipline, strictness, sincerity, love, care
“The definition of beauty is nature.”

Nature is so free, boundless.
But at the same time it is not reckless or careless.

Nature is has its own will but it also bends the will if needed .
It forms it’s rules and abides by it but when it breaks those rules the living beings have to face dire consequences.

It’s as if the process of crafting is so beautiful that your in awe .

It’s make you feel every bit of emotion that exists but you cannot express all in it few words.

The ocean, sea, rivers, all forms of water bodies are like vast blankets that cover the earth as if protecting us .

The sky so free that when we stare at it makes you feel as if the limiter we have set is broken .When we stare at nature there is an immense silence and its as if nothing can stop you from experiencing the freedom .

The clouds are like the drawings that kids draw with pure heart although not perfect, it fills our heart.

We definitely have to talk about the starry night skies that fill our eyes with glitters ,words are not enough describe the beauty of the nature.

This feeling of satisfaction is similar to that of watching an art piece of your favourite artist in an art museum .

Nature gives food, water, what not it gives everything that we need so that we can sustain our lives on earth .

Because of its unconditional love we are leading happy lives .

Everyone calls it “mother nature” .In my view nature is god because of its pure love towards every being living or non living. It doesn’t discriminate anyone on any basis . Nature embraces us, protects us, even when we destroy, pollute it still accepts us.

So in return our only responsibility as on the receiver side is to protect the nature and its beauty
so our next generations can also see the “Art of nature”
.

THANKYOU^^

monsoon delayed in capital, temperature to touch 42 degrees celsius next week

Despite monsoon not reaching the Delhi NCR region, Chandigarh, and parts of Punjab yet, the North-West India region has got 58% surplus rain so far. According to IMD, East and North East, Central and the South Peninsula regions have all got above normal rains so far.

Daytime temperatures in Delhi, which have been below normal for the most part of June, are set to rise and touch 42 degrees Celsius next week as rains skip the National Capital. The Indian Meteorological Department had earlier forecast an early monsoon in the region. However, changes in wind patterns meant that the advancement of moisture laden winds, which bring monsoon rain, has now been hampered.

According to officials at IMD, there is now a chance that monsoon rains will hit Delhi after its onset date of June 27.

“Further advancement of the Southwest Monsoon into the remaining parts of Rajasthan, Western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, and Punjab is likely to be slow as large scale features are not favorable and the forecast wind pattern by the numerical models do not indicate and favorable condition for sustained rainfall over the region during the forecast period,” the IMD stated.

Despite monsoon not reaching the Delhi NCR region, Chandigarh, and parts of Punjab yet, the North-West India region has got 58% surplus rains so far. According, to IMD, East and North East, Central and the South Peninsula regions have all got above normal rains so far. While light rain is expected on Friday and Saturday, with the maximum temperature expected to be 39 degrees Celsius, the next four days are expected to be dry, with the maximum temperature expected to touch 42 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and Wednesday.

On Thursday morning, the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.3 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the year. The maximum temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 40.5 degrees Celsius, 2 degrees above normal. Humidity has been high throughout the past week, touching 77% on Wednesday.

Due to not favorable conditions, there is a possibility of delayed arrival of monsoon in the southern districts of Punjab and Haryana including Delhi and northwest parts of Rajasthan. Although rain and thundershower activities are possible over North India from 25th to 27th June, it will not be Monsoon rain. During the next few days, rain will remain very light in many parts of Maharashtra including Mumbai and the temperature is

likely to rise. Heat and humidity are very likely to increase over Northwest India including Delhi during the next few days.

Mental Health in India

According to the World Health Organization(WHO) there is a 10-25% life expectancy reduction in patients with severe mental health disorders. WHO has labelled India as the most depressing country.

These might be facts but they present the glaring reality of the stigma attached to mental health in India .

In India when a person feels anxiety or has panic attacks , they are described as doing drama to gain attention. If someone expresses desire to see a psychiatrist they are labelled as mad, lunatics by the society. Mental illness is not considered an illness , it is just seen as something which will become alright in a day or two. This mindset of people needs to undergo a change , they need to understand mental illness is an illness and it is real .

The stigma attached to mental illness prevents the ones who are suffering from seeking timely help which further worsens their condition.

Some steps to improve the situation are:

  • First and foremost there is a need for empathy and sensitivity in people regarding mental health.
  • There is a need to create awareness regarding mental disorders in India . Through the means of workshops, films, TV people must be made aware that mental illness is real .
  • There is also a requirement of active policy intervention and resource allocation by the government.
  • There should be creation of a peer network to connect patients with each other so that they are able to support each other.
  • There should be an increase in the number of health personnel in the mental health care sector.
  • There is a need for more counseling facilities especially in the rural sector and counseling centres for women with women doctors.
  • There can be establishment of telephone based helpline numbers and mental health apps.
  • School based programmes on mental health can improve and teach children about mental health.

Hence, immediate steps should be taken to deal with the menace of mental illness in India . Awareness should be created about mental health to reduce the discriminatory attitudes of people.

4 Major learning LESSONS from the book atomic habits

1. Focus on an identity-based approach.

Many people begin new habits by focusing on what they want to achieve. For example, if you go to the gym then your obvious focus will be on getting fit, but when you don’t see results in a week or two, you quit.

You quit because you focused on the wrong thing while the right approach is to build identity-based habits where you are on whom you wish to become.

Continuing the example, now if you go to the gym your focus should be on becoming the type of person who never misses a workout session or who always goes to the gym because that is now your identity and now you don’t care about results and thus you will not quit.

2.Implementation Intention

After developing a new habit for 6-7 days we normally try to procrastinate on the 8th we think we lack motivation but what we lack is clarity. We don’t focus on implementing certain behavior at a particular time and location and thus we procrastinate doing that. So the best approach to this is to use implementation intention, here it is: I will [BEHAVIOUR] at [TIME] in [LOCATION].

3.Environment plays an inevitable role.

We normally perform most of our behaviors or habits because of our environment. Our environment sends the cues for undertaking or performing an action. Let’s try to understand it by an example. If you buy a dozen apples to eat an apple every evening, you will eat them on the first day but when you keep them in the refrigerator, the next or on the 3rd day you will probably forget about them because the environment is not sending any cues of eating apples.

But, if the apples are on your dining table then you will eat them every evening because they are in front of you, the environment is sending you the cues to eat them.

Thus, create an environment where it will send cues of performing certain habits.

4. The dopamine-driven feedback loop.

We, humans, are designed in such a way that we perform only those things from which we get pleasure or which seem attractive to do. Because by doing those things the dopamine is released.

But dopamine is also released not only when you experience pleasure, but also when you anticipate it. For example, you get pleasure more by anticipating that you are going to eat your favorite dish tonight than eating.

Atomic Habit is a fantastic book to read. Every person who is trying to become the best version of himself must read this once.

Digital Technology

Digital technologies are electronic tools, systems, devices and resources that generate, store or process data.In recent years digital technology has revolutionized almost every aspect of people’s lives. Examples of digital technology include social media, online games, multimedia, and mobile phones.Digital technology is used in different areas of life such as in business, education, media, healthcare, transportation, communication, and many more.

The increased use of digital media is changing people’s everyday lives and the way they connect and collaborate in the broader societal context, at work and in civil society. Much of the impact of this heightened use is beneficial to both individuals and society. It is enabling new and extraordinary levels of communication, social interaction and community building across boundaries of time, place and social context. It is enabling individuals and speeding up the standardization of knowledge.

But not all the impacts of increased use of digital media are positive. Research indicates that when humans excessively use digital media it can negatively influence their cognitive and behavioural development and even their mental and physical health. Hyperconnectivity, the increasing digital interconnection of people and things, has the potential to change patterns of social interaction, as face-to-face time may be substituted by online interaction. In addition, greater technology enablement of work (and the resulting fragmentation of jobs) threatens the security of jobs traditionally considered as skilled in the developed world.

Here we try to list out the most important advantages and disadvantages of digital technology.

Pros of Digital Technology

– Advantages of Digital Technology

1. Connectivity:

The world is now globalized with the invention of digital technology. It makes our friends and family closer than before. You can make communication by words, video, audio, and exchange of the media.

With the creation of websites, apps, and software socialization has boomed in recent decades. The most popular social media are Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

2. Communication speed and versatile working:

The data transfer rate or internet speed has rapidly increased since dial-up methods for internet connectivity. Broadband technology increases the speed of the internet even more. The transfer of large files which happens instantly, streaming video and audio in real-time and access data virtually from anywhere in the world becomes possible with high internet speeds.

Working in a closed room with international co-workers is impossible due to large geographical boundaries as internet speed increases with broadband services you can work from any part of the world in real-time. Many online and freelancing jobs done from many miles away without any hindrance.

3. Digital devices are portable:

Digital devices are becoming smaller and smaller day by day. The storage media can store a large amount of data in a tiny chip. With the invention of transistors, the size and weight of digital devices have greatly reduced.

4. The quality of stored information is preserved:

The quality is never reduced with the use of digital technology in contrast with analog technology. The stored information in the analog system may damage or even lost or duplicated but in the digital system the case is opposite.

5. Learning re-defined:

Beforehand the traditional classroom is taught by teachers only. Students are completely dependent on teachers for acquiring knowledge which can be destructible since teachers are not always exactly correct.

With the arrival of digital technology teachers and students, both are heavily influenced since they can jump into the internet where you can find the solution to almost every possible problem.

6. Entertainment:

You can pursue your hobbies and interests through the use of digital technology. You can play online games and admit in music courses from any part of the world with the man of your choice. Different types of  reality shows are found on the internet which we can access with digital devices.

7. Transportation:

Transportation medium such as airplanes, trains, and ships are using digital technology to accurately navigate routes in the sea and land. Not only that cars and buses are becoming fully automated in the near future.

The speedometer is digital nowadays which eases the use of vehicles. Road accident and plane crash are greatly reduced with the use of digital technology. The checking of the passport is past and reliable with a chip embedded in it.

The chip stores all the personal information which speeds up the process of checking through customs. Booking of planes and trains are done through online services.

Cons of Digital Technology

– Disadvantages of Digital Technology

1. Data security:

Data security is a great concern nowadays in the digitized world. Digital technology means that a huge amount of information(text, images, and videos) is collected and stored.

This stored information may be of individuals or organization which is vulnerable to theft. This data can go into the hands of criminals, terrorist, foreign enemies, etc. as all the electronic equipment are connected through the internet all around the world.

2. Social isolation:

The face to face communication is rare these days with the development of digital technology. People can communicate and socialize through the internet which is a part of digital technology.

This way of interacting sometimes creates ambiguity and disbelief among them. Studies have suggested that the lack of real-life contact causes depression and other forms of mental illness in many people.

3. Too much of work or work overload:

As working with the use of digital technology increases speed and performance there are drawbacks of using it too. Workers from all around the world have to manage and handle large numbers of emails which can be hectic.

A large amount of data needs to be recorded and analyzed on a daily basis which requires greater attention and dedication creating distress and isolation. Organizing the vast amount of data such minutes of a meeting, training videos, photographs, reports can be a huge headache.

4. Diminishing job opportunity:

Nowadays, it does not require you to be physically present in the office to do your work since you can work or perform tasks remotely with the use of the internet. The Internet allows workers from third world countries to do the same task in the minimum wage. This can reduce your job replacement opportunity.

There are certain types of work that are performed by automated machines but beforehand they were done by humans. Increasingly, more digital equipment is employed in a working area reducing the chance of getting a job.

5. Digital technology creates addiction towards it:

Online and offline computer games, messaging, social media platforms, chat rooms and other websites can become addictive. Internet users end up wasting too much money for no or low return.

Computer games are so addictive that they may destroy your capability and time to perform an even more important task in your daily life. Gamers and surfers spend so much time on a computer which results in addiction towards it.

6. Manipulation of digital media:

There are different ways to change, edit and manipulate digital media. Manipulation of digital media is more come than before which increases the possibility of fake reports and results inducing more confusion instead of reality.

Photoshop, after effect, are such tools which can manipulate the original data to something new creating confusion about the original ideas and thought of the writer or creator.

Photographs, audio, videos are easy to edit. The size and quality of the image, the true voice of the singer are manipulated to create something new which lacks originality and true nature of the product.

7. Plagiarism and Copyright:

The enforcement of copyright law is hard to implement as the information that is present in the internet world is vast and to track every data is becoming harder.

Everyone can copy and paste information from the internet which is worthless as you do not spend your time learning them. Plagiarism is also the practice of taking other’s work and ideas and passing them off as one’s own which is becoming common in the digital world.

# How to protect ourselves from the negatives of digital technology?

A. Limit when and where you use social media.

B. Have ‘detox’ periods.

C. Approach social media mindfully; ask ‘why?’

D. Stop social media from replacing real life.

E. Use strong passwords to keep your identity and privacy safe.

F. Limit the number of people who have access to your accounts.

G. Turn off push notifications.

H. Start your day tech-free.

COVID’s 3RD WAVE AND VACCINATION DRIVE

With over 3 crore covid cases, India reached the 2nd position after United States in total number of cases. Out of these total cases, over 2.9 crore people have recovered reporting a total of 3.9 lakh deaths. India, now, is getting on track after a strong hit from Covid’s second wave. The cases that were ranging above 4 lakhs everyday has now been reduced to over 50k a day. The states have eased their lockdown restrictions while in many states night curfews are still into force. More or less, normal lives are getting restored in the country and people are again moving freely onto the roads.

With this, comes the another risk of Covid’s third wave. The third wave that is said to be more dangerous than the past two waves of covid is suspected to hit the country within 6 to 8 weeks due to the negligence of the people. The government has already started the preparations for it, whether it be setting up the Oxygen plants or issuing notices to the hospitals to increase the bed allotments for covid infected patients. The government has set it’s focus on another tool for eliminating covid-19 danger and i.e., the Vaccination programs across the country.

With over 24 crore people recieving the 1st shot and 5 crore people fully vaccinated, India’s vaccination drive is on. The government has taken the responsibility to vaccinate all and is moving forward in this step. The closet of your dreams

Who doesn’t love good clothes, shoes or accessories? The perfect fit makes us fall in love with ourselves and makes us feel and look confident. A lot of the time we scroll Pinterest and follow celebrities or influencers for their fashion inspiration. We adore what they wear and love their closet.

It makes us think about our dream closet. We might obviously have a few clothes we adore but there are some pieces of clothes we aren’t exactly fond of and we don’t even know why we bought them in the first place.

We all have a closet of our dreams. Some people’s closet is more filled with shoes and accessories while others include clothes. But, we all have this closet that we think we will own someday. Well, the good news is you can start owning the closet from today. But, there are a few things you need to keep in mind:

Buy what you will wear: We often go shop and buy these average-looking clothes that don’t match our aesthetic or our style. We buy them thinking we will wear them on a casual day. But we never end up wearing it or even if we wear it someday, we don’t feel so great about it. Well not anymore, the next time you purchase a piece make sure you fall in love with it and can picture yourself wearing it from time to time.

Empty the space: we need space for what we like in our closets. So, give in the clothes you don’t wear to thrift shops or donate them to the people who need them. This way your closet will have more space and the clothes you don’t wear will be out of your vision.

Spice it up: You can always let your creative side experiment with your current clothes. If a pair of boring jeans is sitting in your closet, don’t be afraid to convert them into ripped jeans or shorts. Same way with your t-shirts, you can always crop them, tie-dye them, or dye them a different colour or even add a sequence of your choice. This would be a fun way to spice up your old boring clothes.

Fashion has no rules: Our generation has a certain piece of clothing, shoes, accessories that are considered “trendy”. But just because everyone is wearing it doesn’t mean you have to wear it too. There are no rules when it comes to fashion. You can wear whatever you like and what you feel comfortable in. The trends keep coming and changing so don’t be afraid to try something new.

Don’t go over budget: yes, you heard me right. You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get the closet of your dreams. Wearing designer brands shows people you have money, it doesn’t show people that you have a great fashion sense. There is no harm in having a few statement designer pieces but you don’t only have to buy expensive stuff.

Organize: Now that you have the closet of your dreams. Make sure to always organize it nicely. You can always colour coordinate your outfits or arrange them according to the occasion. This will make your closet look great and organized.

Clothes of your choice: If you are someone who isn’t able to find good clothes in the stores near you because they only have fast fashion clothes. Don’t be afraid to order clothes online. You can try a bunch of online sites but make sure they have a return policy. So in case, you don’t like the clothes you can always return them. There are also a lot of influencers who have their clothing lines, you can also try ordering from those. You can always try thrifting but make sure the thrift stores are good. We know that LA has great thrift stores but we don’t know if stores near us have that quality.

Fashion is about wearing what you feel most comfortable and powerful in. It is a way to express ourselves so don’t think about what people have to say. Wear what you like and wear it with confidence.

Decline of Political participation of Females in India

Since the beginning of rebellious movements against the oppressive British regime in 19th century, women have played an integral part in freedom struggle in India. From Rani Lakshmibai in 1857 to Mantangini Hazra in 1942, women have always upheld the patriotism and love for their nation.

Sarojini Naidu, an Indian political activist, joined Indian Independence movement back in 1905 and later became the Governor of Uttar Pradesh in Independent India, making her India’s first female Governor.

In the post independent India, prominent freedom fighter Sucheta Kriplani became the first female Chief Minister of India for Indian State Uttar Pradesh. In 1966, Indira Gandhi became the first female Prime Minister of India.

But if women participated in Indian politics and independence movements so actively at a time when women weren’t even allowed to walk out freely, why do we see a sudden decrease in participation of women in Indian Politics in 21st Century?

In 1990s, there were about 6 sitting female Chief Ministers in India and in 2021, there is only one sitting female Chief Minister in India, that is, Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal. Let us see the reasons behind lack of participation of females in Indian politics.

Assault on Indian female politicians:

India holds a bad history of torture, discrimination and hostility towards female politicians. From Ms. Jayalalitha who was brutally assaulted in late 1980s to Ms.Mayawati and Ms. Mamata Banerjee who were assaulted ruthlessly in mid-1990s proves that Indian Politics has never been safe for women. These female politicians were assaulted especially by male chauvinists to intimidate them for being a woman and raising voice in politics. These assaults discourage women in India to join politics.

Indian Political Parties are Male-dominated:

Unless a political party is formed by a female, all other political parties be it left, right or centre are by nature male-dominated in India. Females are not given powerful positions in these parties which further lower their self-esteem and this influences other women negatively to not join politics.

Systematic Sexism in Politics:

Even if women are given political positions, they are mostly given those positions that are stereotypically considered “womanly”. Women holding positions are also often harassed by male politicians. Women who want to hold more prominent positions thus get discouraged. Although some things have changed in recent years where we have seen women holding powerful positions in Defence and Finance Ministry, still a lot more has to be done.

Patriarchal Society:

This is a bitter reality that our male-dominated society doesn’t love “dominant female leaders”. For instance, when in 2019, two Female MPs from West Bengal wore a shirt and jeans, they were criticised and shammed for wearing western whereas so many male members in Parliament wearing jeans wasn’t an issue. The fear of getting judged by the society also discourages women to join politics.

What can be done to improve the situation?

First and foremost, we should make a safe political environment for women and listen to the issues they face in politics. Second, society and the government must have a feminist approach so that women come out and lead political movements. And lastly, although India has women friendly laws, these laws aren’t implemented and thus proper implementation of these laws must be done, for example, taking strict action against male politicians who make misogynistic statements, abuse women and like.
