The programming language – python

To start programming, you must first learn a programming language. Computers cannot learn human languages. The computer only knows that it has the form of 0 or 1, which is a binary language. Therefore, to communicate with a computer, you need to learn its language. A programming language is a set of instructions entered into a computer to achieve the desired result. There are many similar programming languages available. Some languages are misleading. For others, the situation is just the opposite. The most popular programming language today is called “Python”.

PYTHON – SUPREME OVER OTHER PROGRAMMING LANGUAGES

Python is an interactive, object-oriented, and universally interpreted high-level programming language. It was created by Guido van Rossum in 1985-1990. Like Perl, the Python source code also follows the GNU General Public License (GPL). In the Python programming language.

Every buzzword around you today uses Python a lot. Python is a highly integrated general-purpose programming language. Python is the fastest-growing programming language. Some of the advantages of using the “most popular programming language” for coding are that it is easy to read, write, and learn. Python code. Python is an interpreted language. Python is free, and open-source Python supports all available libraries. Python is a high-level language. Python is an object-oriented language python is portable to all operating systems, and every coin has two sides, so Python also has its disadvantages. Python starts very slowly. Python’s memory efficiency is not high, but these shortcomings have not detracted from its popularity. Trust me, once you start writing code, you will understand these terms.

Python is a MUST for understudies and working experts to turn into an extraordinary Software Engineer exceptionally when they are working in Web Development Domain. I will list down a portion of the critical benefits of learning Python:

  • Python is Interpreted − Python is prepared at runtime by the mediator. You don’t have to arrange your program prior to executing it. This is like PERL and PHP.
  • Python is Interactive − You can really sit at a Python incite and associate with the mediator straightforwardly to compose your projects.
  • Python is Object-Oriented − Python upholds Object-Oriented style or strategy of programming that embodies code inside objects.
  • Python is a Beginner’s Language − Python is an incredible language for the fledgling software engineers and supports the advancement of a wide scope of uses from straightforward content handling to WWW programs to games.

DISCRIMINATION- NOT GOOD FOR DIVERSE COUNTRIES.

What is Discrimination?
People in India are discriminated against based on caste, religion, sex, color, and whatnot. Some people hear so much from a society that they cannot survive or come out of it.
It has been seen in different places on different accounts.
I have seen in my school where one of my friends was discriminated against based on color. She wasn’t provided with equal opportunities like us. Even fellow students treated her as if she is not normal like us. They used to talk about her, about her family.
People are discriminated against on different terms, whether caste, religion, gender, or whatnot? They just need something to discriminate against others. During the British rule Indians were discriminated against. They were not treated equally, all of their rights were taken away.
Stress and Health
Discrimination is a public health issue. According to the 2015 Stress in America Survey, people who say they have faced discrimination rate their stress levels higher, on average, than those who say they have not experienced discrimination. That’s true across racial and ethnic groups.
Chronic stress can lead to a wide variety of physical and mental health problems. Indeed, perceived discrimination has been linked to issues including anxiety, depression, obesity, high blood pressure, and substance abuse.1
Discrimination can be damaging even if you haven’t been the target of overt acts of bias. Regardless of your personal experiences, it can be stressful just being a member of a group that is often discriminated against, such as racial minorities or individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender (LGBT).
Who are the most vulnerable to discrimination?
Bisexuals, Gays, Lesbians, Transgenders, People living under Minority, Lower class, and Backward classes people are most vulnerable to discrimination.
What do we need to do?
People who are dark in complexion are beautiful too. Who says they aren’t? And most importantly, who gives them the right to speak unnecessarily about anyone.
Actually, we are the only one who permits and allows them. If we start taking our stands against this, we start taking actions, we start raising our voice no one would be able to speak about us unnecessarily.
No one will even think about saying bad things about everyone.
Discrimination, big, and small
Laws are in place to protect people from discrimination in housing and employment.
The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of dwellings based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. The Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits discrimination in employment based on race, color, sex, ethnic origin, age, and disabilities.
Unfortunately, discrimination still occurs. According to Stress in America Survey results, issues related to employment are the most commonly reported experiences of major discrimination across ethnic groups.
Dealing with discrimination
Finding healthy ways to deal with discrimination is important, for your physical health and your mental well-being.
Focus on your strengths. Focusing on your core values, beliefs, and perceived strengths can motivate people to succeed, and may even buffer the negative effects of bias. Overcoming hardship can also make people more resilient and better able to face future challenges.
Seek support systems. One problem with discrimination is that people can internalize others’ negative beliefs, even when they’re false. You may start to believe you’re not good enough. But family and friends can remind you of your worth and help you reframe those faulty beliefs.
Family and friends can also help counteract the toll that microaggressions and other examples of daily discrimination can take. In a world that regularly invalidates your experiences and feelings, members of your support network can reassure you that you’re not imagining those experiences of discrimination. Still, it’s sometimes painful to talk about discrimination. It can be helpful to ask friends and family how they handle such events.

Your family and friends can also be helpful if you feel you’ve been the victim of discrimination in areas such as housing, employment, or education. Often, people don’t report such experiences to agencies or supervisors. I lack reporting because people often doubt themselves: Was I actually discriminated against, or am I being oversensitive? Will I be judged negatively if I push the issue? Your support network can provide a reality check and a sounding board to help you decide if your claims are valid and worth pursuing.
Get involved. Support doesn’t have to come from people in your family or circle of friends. You can get involved with like-minded groups and organizations, whether locally or online. It can help to know other people have had similar experiences to yours. And connecting with those people might help you figure out how to address situations and respond to experiences of discrimination in ways you haven’t thought of.

Stress management

The importance of stress management

When you live in a stressful environment, your luck is at risk. Stress can disrupt your emotional balance and physical health. This will reduce your ability to think clearly and act effectively. And enjoy life. I can’t do anything about pressure. Bills will never stop, you will never have more time, and your work and family obligations will always be tough. Much more control than you think. Life makes you happier, healthier, and more efficient. The ultimate goal is a balanced life, with time for work, relationships and entertainment. Fun and flexibility when moving goods and overcoming difficulties. But stress management is not unique to everyone. This is why it is so important to try to find the method that works best for you. The following stress management tips will help you solve this problem.

Tips 1. Determine the cause of stress in your life.

Stress management should first determine the source of stress in life. This is not as easy as it sounds. Although potential sources of stress such as changing jobs, moving houses, or divorce are easy to identify, it can be more difficult to pinpoint the root cause of chronic stress. Emotions and behaviors affect your daily stress level. Of course, you may know that deadlines are an ongoing issue, but it may be your delays, not your actual work needs, that are causing the pressure. The causes of stress, take a closer look at your habits, attitudes, and excuses:

  • Did you interpret stress as a short-term phenomenon (“I just happened a million things”), even if you don’t remember what you did last time?
  • Do you define stress as an indispensable part of your work or family life (“Everything here is always crazy”) or part of your personality (“I’m nervous, nothing more”)? Pressure from other people or external events, or do you think it is completely normal and nothing unusual?
  • If you are not responsible for the role you play when creating or maintaining a role, your stress level will get out of control.

Tip 2: Practice the 4 principles of stress management.

Although stress is an automatic response of your nervous system, some stressors can occur at predictable times-for example, on the way to work, boss meetings, or family celebrations. , You can change the situation or change your reaction. When deciding which option to choose in any given scenario, it is helpful to consider the four Aces: avoid, change, adapt, or accept.

Some sources of stress are unavoidable. You can’t prevent or change stressors such as the death of a loved one, a serious illness, or a national recession. In such cases, the best way to cope with stress is to accept things as they are. Acceptance may be difficult, but in the long run, it’s easier than railing against a situation you can’t change.

SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Science , technology the two most , one of the powerful words nowadays . These two words has changed the ways our living style totally .It has been observed a drastic and a sharp increase in graph from 20th to 21th century in both science and technology . Everyday the company launches new mobile with new feature making our lives easier. Not only this , science has shown its excellence in many other fields like in household equipments making the chores done more quickly like vaccum cleaner , refrigerator , Oven , etc.Basically , Science can be defined as the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical world and natural world like biotic or living organisms and the mixture of the both helps to study about human , diseases , their diagnosis , treatment and cure through observation and experiment . While the technology is defined the use of scientific knowledge for the practical purposes that can be at reasearch level , hospital level , school curriculum levels .Science and technology have helped a lot in advancement of various fields like Mathematics, Astrophysics, Space technology, Nuclear energy , biotechnology, IT , etc.Science and technology has a remarkable effects on our lives , some of them are:- Thus through science and technology, life has really become very simple and relaxed and comfortable , Metro system and railway system has made travelling simpler and quick , Birth of smartphones has made communication easier and faster , With the outbreak of technology, living standards are improved, people have started living the luxurious life . The word Impossible is become possible due to the growth of science and technology. Complicated tasks can be easily done in seconds on laptop or computer . Learning and memorizing has become more easier through visual learning programming apps .Thus , due to the oneset of technology , world has really become digital , every age group has been greatly benefited .Now man is able to explore the space due to introduction of Aeroscience . The life has become healthier and longer. Day by day , as per enhancement in technology hygiene, sanitation, medicine , treatment and surgery are conquering more and more physical and mental illness . But , it’s a fact that everything has its two sides just like the coin , science and technology too have some of the limitations like :- The Machines have led to unemployment as all the work is now performed through machines and equipment due to which less labour and workers are required leading to unemployment , The chemicals and gases realising from industries have polluted water and atmosphere and also have caused noise pollution. We all have lost our traditional lifestyle die to the outbreak of science and technology and become more lazy day by day , that will add on more fats and calories to our body and making us obese which in turn is the house of diseases. Thus ,we must admit that science and technology have made our life easier and led to human civilization . However , we must utilize everything in wise perspectives and use all the means in a limit . Therefore, overuse or misuse of anything is harmful and can produce harmful consequences. So , we must use the science and technology in a wise way and achieve success.

How one family single-handedly caused a drug epidemic in USA

In the Louvre museum paris , the slacker family used to have a dedicated sackler wing. The Smithsonian has the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery. All around the world the sacklers have invested in art. Unfortunately the sacklers are far from dedicated art patrons.

In 1952, three brothers  Arthur, Raymond and Mortimer bought a small pharma company called purdue- frederick. The company is now known for their drug oxycontin that it has found to be a huge part in the opioid epidemic in the United states.

In 1971,  Richard Sackler, the son of Raymond Sackler began working for Purdue Pharma as an assistant to his father, the company’s president. He was promoted to the positions of director of research and development and director of marketing.

Richard Sackler had a pivotal role in the development of Oxycontin, serving as the driving force behind Purdue Pharma’s research in the 1990s .

In the 1980s, there was a boom in the hospice sector i.e. care for terminally ill. During this time, Purdue released Ms Contin– a morphine based drug for Cancer patients. This was a massive success but Purdue knew they had to do more since the patent was soon going to expire and the fact that Ms contin was a morphine based drug stigmatized it.

So they created a new drug, oxycontin with the active ingredient oxycodone replacing the morphine many doctors falsely believe that oxycodone was weaker than morphine the truth was the active ingredient in oxycontin oxycodone was in fact 50% stronger than morphine later in an unpublished study by Purdue in 1999 the company found that the addiction rate was 13% not 1% the FDA  even  approved a claim the oxycontin’s delayed absorption would reduce the probability of abuse the FDA examiner he was involved in the approval of this claim left the FDA shortly and within two years had accepted a role at Purdue.

Russell Portenoy and J. David Haddox were also recruited by Sackler to engage inside the medical community to promote a new narrative suggesting that opioids were not extremely addictive.

Purdue pursued an “aggressive” campaign to promote the use of opioids in general and OxyContin in particular. In 2001 alone, the company spent $200 million in an array of approaches to market and promote OxyContin.

The Promotion and Marketing of OxyContin: Commercial Triumph, Public Health Tragedy(Art Van Zee, MD)

Over the years researchers found strong correlations between areas of high ovepaying rdose rates to high prescription rates. This is how the truth slowly came out. Research indicates that there is a strong correlation between regions of high opioid prescription rates and high overdose rates

Patrick Radden Keefe, in an interview for his book ‘Empire of pain’ on the sackers revealed that during research he found emails that explicitly stated the fact that doctors were not aware that oxycodone is stronger than morphine and they should keep it like that .

Today, Purdue and the Sacklers agreed to a $270 million settlement with the state of Oklahoma over their role in the crisis. Purdue will pay $195 million and the Sacklers $75 million.

Yes, they will pay billions of dollars for their role in causing the opioid epidemic. But when the cases are settled, they will walk away from the lawsuits— still billionaires.

SEASONAL FOODS

“Your diet is a bank account. Good food choices are good investments.” – Bethenny Frankel

Seasonal food refers to the times of year when the harvest or the flavour of a given type food is at its peak. This is usually the time when the item is harvested, with some exceptions; an example being sweet potatoes which are best eaten quite a while after harvest. It also appeals to people who prefer a low carbon diet that reduces the greenhouse gas emissions resulting from food consumption . Macrobiotic diets emphasise eating locally grown foods that are in season.

Some weather conditions, found only in a particular season, are favourable for the growth of the fruit. For example,  mango fruit, it needs the hot temperature of the summer to ripen, along with some light summer showers.

The seasonal fruits and vegetables have all the vitamins and nutrients that our body needs in that particular season. So, it is wise to eat the fruits and vegetables when it’s their season because the seasonal fruits are affordable and since they are more abundant, we can stock them up.

➡️Benefits of Eating Seasonal Products :

• Reduced Carbon Footprint

• Reduced Pesticide Consumption

• High Intensity Nutrients

Seasonal fruits and vegetables that naturally ripen in the sun are fresher, taste better and have the highest amount of nutrition, antioxidants . Consumption of seasonal products closer to the time of harvesting provides the most nutrition.

Some of the seasonal fruits and vegetables are –
Mango and litchi in summer.
Corn and jamun in rainy season.
Oranges, Guava , Strawberries and Grapes in winter.

Immigrants

Majorities of publics in top migrant destination countries say immigrants strengthen their countries, according to a 2018 Pew Research Center survey of 18 countries that host half of the world’s migrants.

In 10 of the countries surveyed, majorities view immigrants as a strength rather than a burden. Among them are some of the largest migrant receiving countries in the world: the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Canada and Australia (each hosting more than 7 million immigrants in 2017).

By contrast, majorities in five countries surveyed – Hungary, Greece, South Africa, Russia and Israel – see immigrants as a burden to their countries. With the exception of Russia, these countries each have fewer than 5 million immigrants.

Meanwhile, public opinion on the impact of immigrants is divided in the Netherlands. In Italy and Poland, more say immigrants are a burden, while substantial shares in these countries do not lean one way or the other (31% and 20% respectively).

TRANSPORTATION and Electricity Uses

Electricity is relatively  a clean safe form of energy  used properly, the generation and transmission of the electricity affects the environment in smaller or bigger ways. Mostly all types of electric based power plants have some effect on the environment, but some plants have way larger effects than others.Power plants are generally located inside, or next to an existing building, so the footprint is logically small. Most large power plants require bare or cleared land to build the power plant. However some power plants may also require access to roads, railroads, and pipelines for fuel delivery, electricity transmission lines, and cooling water supplies.

Transportation is one among the very important sectors we cannot do without in the upcoming age and days. However, recent transportation work comes with a long list of problems including  environmental degradation, health implications (physical, emotional, mental)etc. In fact, the transportation sector contributes to 23% of the globe’s greenhouse gas emission resulting from fossil fuel burning. Out of the total greenhouse gas emissions, road transport contributes upto 75% and this value is expected to increase in the future if it continues like this. All of these put a lot of load on the governments to enforce policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Electricity is broadly used by the mass public for the transit systems and by electric vehicles around the world. Electricity is used as a fuel by railway in many countries. Electricity is additionally wont to charge batteries for electric vehicles. As many countries frame policies to contain environmental pollution caused by burning of fossil fuels in transportation, vehicles that run on batteries are gaining prominence. So, electricity is seen as a serious contributor within the transition to greener transportation. According to a World Energy Outlook 2017 report published by the EIA, the share of electricity utilized in transportation is projected to double between 2015 and 2040, led by increase within the number of plug-in electric vehicles and rise in electricity usage for rail networks. However, the electricity use in transportation sector is estimated to occupy just 4% of total delivered electricity consumption in 2040.

With quite 30 models of electrical passenger vehicles slated to enter the market within the next two years, questions on how a transition to electric “fuel” would be managed and the full costs and benefits of such a transition got to be addressed. Some studies indicate electricity could displace an outsized amount of U.S. oil consumption without adding electric generation capacity. Given the current U.S. electricity profile, using electric fuel also generates significantly fewer greenhouse gases per mile than gasoline with potential for greater improvement as more electricity is produced from renewable sources. Moreover, while significant grid management issues would need to be addressed, electric vehicles could have substantial economic value for reducing peak loads for electric utilities, managing excess off-peak capacity, and enabling greater use of renewable energy.

The use of electricity from renewable sources because the energy source for vehicles is an alternative choice to decarbonise the fuels utilized in the transport sector. in addition to decarbonising transport fuel use, electrification of the vehicle fleet has significant local environmental and health benefits, as electrification also will reduce local pollutant emissions.

Winston Churchill

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill is one of the most famous individuals of the 20th Century who successfully led Britain to victory during World War II. He was born on November 30th in the year 1874 and became a Member of Parliament in the year 1900. He was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. He is a hero and is given credit for being one of the driving forces who inspired the United Kingdom to keep fighting against the Nazis.

Hitler went on to become the master of Europe in 1940 and had broken the Munich pact by invading Poland and further went on to defeat France. He was smart enough to realize the power and strength of Britain and proposed peace. Churchill knew that the intentions of Hitler were not good and he certainly was right not to judge Hitler and went on to continue the argument while others were willing to trust the latter. He provided strength to the country which was required to stand up to the most intense aerial bombing. His ability as a political orator came in handy and his speeches inspired the British people to keep fighting in spite of knowing that victory is far away. Taking right decisions such as destroying the French fleet at Mers-el-Kebir, Despite the threat of the German invasion, sending tanks to Egypt. He used every opportunity very wisely.

Churchill guided British military efforts abroad and his leadership on the home front was truly remarkable. His techniques presented him with powerful civilian support. German forces were busy invading Europe and Britain watched in horror as their ally France fell to Germany and so did the others leaving only Britain to challenge the latter

At the time of the eight-month air attack, the British government devised techniques such as posters, videos to reassure civilians. The government monitored the opinions of the civilians though the crime rate rose, along with outcries of political dissenters, the firm resolution of the civilians shook Hilter’s hope of invading the country and the country breathed a sigh of relief through the war was far from being over. The Germans had underestimated a nation that was determined not to give up and stand strong under the stress of war.

After a rise to prominence in national politics before World War I, Churchill acquired a reputation for his judgment in the war and in the decade that followed. He was a lonely figure until his response to Adolf Hitler’s challenge brought him to the leadership of a national coalition in 1940. He then shaped Allied Strategy in World War II with Joseph Stalin and Franklin D. Roosevelt, and he alerted the west about the threat of the Soviet Union after the breakdown of the alliance.

Where Python language is used?

There is a vast variety of Python use cases across industries. Of course, the first thing that comes up when one thinks about the most common ways in which Python is employed is for building web, mobile, and desktop applications, as well as for testing them. But Python is a language that serves a multiplicity of purposes. Basically, these are the areas of use Python is perfect for:
Web app development

Data science

•Scripting

•Database programming

•Quick prototyping

Python is good for all forms of programming, which makes its user base grow rapidly. Cross-platform shell scripting, quick automation, simple web development, data analysis and visualization, AI and ML are some of the examples.

Often, specialists use Python to better perform a variety of tasks in different disciplines. Better performance, among others, may be achieved with the help of automation. Finance, insurance, and marketing are the primary fields, in which people face the necessity to do tasks that are repetitive and boring: viewing, copying, renaming, and uploading files to a server, downloading websites or parsing data. Instead, a programmer can write a script in Python and automate it all.

Moreover, you should not necessarily be a software developer to use Python. The language allows facilitating data analysis and visualization. It has a rich ecosystem comprising efficient libraries for data processing and therefore assisting data scientists in performing complex numeric computing operations.

Web Development

Web development is a method of providing site structure and maintenance and this is work done in the background, intending to keep the site look good, running quickly, and performing well with consistent customer interactions. Web developers use various programming dialects to do this. The dialect used depends on the type of errand. Performance and the stage of their work. Online promotion skills are popular all over the world, and they are well paid, making them an excellent career choice.

This is one of the areas that are easier to open up, and the rewards are more generous because you need not have to struggle with a formal university degree to obtain qualifications. The field of web development is mainly divided into front-end(client-side) and back-end(worker-side).

Comparing Front-End and Back-End Development

The Front-End web developer is responsible for layout, design, and interaction with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. He takes an idea from the drawing board and implements it. The content you see and use, such as the visual aspects of the website, drop-down menus, and text, is put together by a front-end developer who has written many programs to link and build elements, improve their appearance, and add interactivity. The program runs through the browser. It happened behind the scenes. This is where the data is stored. Without this data, there is no external interface.

The Back-End or the server side of the network consists of the server hosting the website, the application that starts the website, and the database where the website is located. Server-side developers use computer programs to ensure the smooth operation of servers, applications, and databases. Such developers need to analyze the company’s needs and propose effective software solutions. ng uses different server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, Python and Java.

The Industrial applications

In larger organizations and companies, a Web development team can consist of hundreds of people (Web developers) and follow standard practices such as agile Web development. Small organizations may only need a permanent or contract developer, or assist in the allocation of appropriate positions. As a graphic designer or IT expert. Web development can be collaborative work between departments, rather than the domain of a specific department. Web developer professions are divided into three types: front-end developers, back-end developers, and full-stack developers. Responsible for the actions and images that run in the user’s browser, while the internal developers are responsible for the server.

All of this may seem difficult to understand at first glance, but you don’t need to understand all of them immediately. You will gradually increase your awareness and things will start to click. The good news is that learning to be a developer is easy to get and access. This applies in particular to Open Classrooms.

Interview With An Inkpot!

“Writing permits me to be more than I am. Writing permits me to experience life as any number of strange creations.”

  • Alice Walker

Today’s article is an interview with Inky- The Inkpot. Yes! The same Inkpots that were used in ancient times for Fountain Pens! We thought of listening to all it had to say and yes, the interview with it was damn interesting!

The questions were as follows:

Our First Question For You Is, That What Do You Think Of The Writing Medium Used In This Era?

I feel extremely left out. By using me, people enjoyed writing all the more. Yes! Refilling the ink was necessary and may seem a hard task today, but writing with a fountain pen containing a cute feather perched on its top made the process, all the more merrier. The writing medium used in this era is mainly the laptop, if I am not wrong. This medium is easier, actually extremely easier as compared to me but that, I am afraid, doesn’t make writing a fun task anymore, is what I think!

Indeed! Since Length Of Write Ups Has Increased Nowadays, We Refrain From Using You Because That Would Make Writing A Tedious Task. Could You Suggest A Way Of Making Writing A Fun Task Through The Present Medium, That Is The Laptop?

Yes! I totally understand that writing has now intensified its nature. Earlier, write ups were a priceless art form, but today almost every individual is interested in getting into this area of creativity. Maybe that’s the reason, write ups have become meticulous and elaborate today and laptops make work easier. Well, in order to make work on the laptop interesting, I would suggest that you frame your write ups in a way that not only people but also you visualize them. Try to imagine the story yourself while framing it. This will automatically make your task interesting.

That Was Such An Important Point! What According To You Is The Worth Of Writing?

Writing is a precious art form and almost every person can write, if he has the will to. Writing has had its worth since the ancient times, when kings used me along with the fountain pen for sure, in order to state certain important messages and send them over to other kingdoms. Even today, write ups are used to send impactful messages across the globe. It is a great art form for introverts who fear to express their thoughts in public 😉

Indeed! I Am Eager To Use You At Least Once While Writing. Are You Available Now?

I am so glad to hear this, but I regret to say that I have entered the antique section and am no longer easily accessible. It is because of our decreasing demand today! Well, you can always visit museums in order to meet my relatives! However, I have seen certain people who are creatively shaping their pens by applying a feather at the top. Perhaps, you could try that but inkpots (we) won’t be of any use to you now!

Okay! I Will Definitely Try Doing That. What Do You Have To Say About Emails?

That makes me even more dejected. Letters were not only an effective medium of communication but also helped in enhancing cordial relations during the ancient period. Emails, no matter how formal they are, cannot ensure the happiness that letters provided when they popped into the nearest post! In short, all I have to say is that though the digital medium has made writing easier and convenient for man, it doesn’t meet the ‘buoyancy’ factor today. However, writing was, is, and shall always remain an important art form.

True! Lastly! Do You Wish To Address The Future Writers?

Indeed! Writing is an amazing art that requires utmost love and interest from your side. Don’t hesitate to get your words out in the world. Writing also, gives you an option to remain anonymous. So, if you are afraid to speak out, then write it down and get it published. Let the world know what you think. However, if you are interested in story writing then be that. Introduce the world to your creativity. Burying your head into your hands and adopting a demure approach won’t help!

Thank You So Much, Mr. Inkpot.

Covid massacre [ INDIA ]

Did you know INDIA was the first country in the world to beat coronavirus, in jan 2021?

At our peak in May, we had 400,000 cases per day and 4000 death per day. An experts say these figures are a gross underestimate. As we know many death hasn’t be registered in Government data.. Because in village, people were not aware about this. They think people die only with high fever, cough, etc.

Even now rest of the world reopens, We are still suffering. Our people are needlessly Dying. In hospital, there is neither oxygen cylinder nor necessary medicine. Our government has blood on its hand.

There in Feb 2021, Scientists began warning government about the new variants and the rise in cases. And of course, Government ignored.

In march, government refuse to cancel Kumbh Mela,And because of this there has been a significant increase in corona cases.

In April, Many parties leaders attended super spreader rallies in west bengal. So we can say that ” People vote matters, but people life doesn’t. “

Due to this Whole Scenario, Many people were dying everywhere,, Hundreds of death bodies were floating in the Ganga river. Death bodies found in the river of people who cannot afford funeral expenses.

In other hand, we produced more than 60 million vaccine doses for other counties. But we did not make enough vaccine for ourselves.

But nowadays the government is buying vaccines in large quantities from outside countries and is also producing it itself. And they Started large vaccine drive in India. India administered a record 82.7 lakh doses of Covid vaccine on 21 june 2021. i hope everything will be fine soon.

Peace Out.

The effect of climate change on Indian monsoon

Agriculture is the most popular occupation in India. The Indian farmers wait year long for monsoon to come and nurture their crops with some precipitation. The monsoon rainfall is highly beneficial for crops like rice, maize and pulses. However, the monsoon season in India has changed dramatically since the last decade. The 21st century monsoon is quite different from that of the 20th century. This new monsoon is characterized by volatile and erratic rainfall patterns.

North East gets less monsoon rainfall - Pratidin Time

The monsoon rainfall has become quite unpredictable. The rainfall is too heavy in some parts of the country which often leads to floods, landslides and water-logging. And the cause of such erratic rainfall pattern is climate change. The earth’s surface is getting heated up day by day as the amount of green house gases in the atmosphere is increasing.

The greenhouse gases like methane, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide traps earth’s heat and do not let it escape the earth’s atmosphere. These greenhouse gases are emitted from industries. After the industrial revolution, the concentration of greenhouse gases in the earth’s atmosphere has increased leading to the heating up of the earth’s surface. Greenhouse gases are also produced due to burning of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum and natural gas. They are also increased by human activities like deforestation.

The more the earth’s atmosphere gets heated up, the more intense the rainfall becomes. Too heavy rainfall is not good for some crops like cereals. Also waterlogging can effect plant growth as it deprives the plants of oxygen and nitrogen.

The western countries are mostly responsible for the emission of greenhouse gases as the primary occupation in those developed countries is industrialization. And the developing countries like India are bearing the brunt of rapid industrialization as their primary occupation is agriculture. If crops are not grown, then it will have a serious effect on the country’s economy. Poor farmers would suffer whose livelihood depends on harvesting and selling crops. The farmers would have no income and their families would starve. It is high time that the government takes this case into consideration and cuts down the emission of greenhouse gases.

Ladakh – The link between India and Central Asia

Ladakh, situated in northernmost India bordered by the Tibet autonomous region to it’s east, the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh to it’s south, both Indian Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan(PoK) to it’s west and the southwest corner of the Chinese Xinjiang autonomous region across the majestic karakoram pass in the far north, has always been a land of intrigue. The name ‘Ladakh’ means the land of high passes is full of great mountain passes like the Karakoram, Khardungla etc.

The largest town and capital of Ladakh is Leh, followed by Kargil. The Leh district contains the Indus, Shyok and Nubra river valleys while the Kargil district has the Suri, Dras and Zanskar river valleys. Being administrated as a union territory recently, it is the largest and second least populous union territory of India.

Since past, Ladakh has been important due it’s strategic location at the crossroads of important trade routes. Most notably the renowned Silk Road, which was and still is a network of trade routes connecting the East and West, and was key to the economic, cultural, political and religious interactions between these regions from the 2nd century BC to the 18th century. It primarily refers to the land but also sea routes connecting East Asia & Southeast Asia with South Asia, Persia(Iran), the Arabian Peninsula, East Adrian and Southern Europe.

Due to its contiguity with Xinjiang and Tibet and its close proximity to Central Asia, and enjoying a central position in the network of overland caravan routes that were linked to the Silk Route, Ladakh acted as an important gateway in the Indo-Central Asian exchange of men, materials and ideas through the ages. The great mountain barriers of the Hindu Kush, Karakoram, Kun Lun mountains and western Himalayas where not successful in stopping the trade from thriving.

The Central Asian Museum in Leh celebrates this rich cultural & trade history with Central Asia having many artifacts, photographs and art installations depicting trade through Ladakh. Notable exports to Central Asia were the famous Pashmina Shawls, Tea, Indigo, Coral, Salt etc. Imports from Central Asia were Bukharan and Kokandi gold coins(from the area which is now the country of Uzbekistan), Silk Cloth, Russian currency etc.

The trade and the caravan traders even helped in the urbanisation of Ladakh and giving it’s unique identity.
