Last one-and-a-half years have been most peaceful times in J&K, says DGP Dilbag Singh
In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Senior police and Army officers yesterday said that the last one-and-a-half years have been the most peaceful times in Jammu and Kashmir. They added that with every successful anti-militancy operation, security forces are moving on the path of peace.
Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police (DGP) Dilbag Singh said that the last full year and about five-and-a-half months of this year have been the most peaceful months in terms of handling law and order in general and the law and order situations around the anti-militancy operation sites in particular.
He was speaking at a joint press conference of senior officers of Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Srinagar yesterday. He said that the mission of the security forces is to stabilise peace in Jammu and Kashmir and they were continuously working towards attaining that. Mr Dilbag Singh further said that during the last about five-and-a-half months, over 100 terrorists have been neutralised, out of them over 50 were from the Hizbul Mujahideen, around 20 of them from the Lashkar-e-Taiba, 20 from the Jaish-e-Mohammed and the rest from smaller outfits like Al-Badr, Ansar Gazwatul Hind.
He added that about half-a-dozen successful operations have been conducted in Jammu region as well in which around a dozen terrorists have been neutralised. He said that Pir Panjal range is very well under control and Doda-Kishtwar is almost militancy-free with one terrorist remaining in Doda district and three in Kishtwar.
The DGP said the security forces have been successful only because people of the union territory were cooperating. He said that he would also like to compliment our youth if they are not joining terror ranks despite huge provocations by Pakistan and the agencies involved in the terror business.
He said the terrorist recruitment in the Valley has come down drastically. It has come down because of joint efforts of the civil society, parents, police officers on ground who maintain a very close liaison with people whose wards are likely to drift away. He said that they take many pre-emptive actions which are not brought to the fore deliberately just to ensure security of the youth concerned.
General Officer Commanding (GoC) of the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps, Lt Gen B S Raju while speaking on the situation said that with every operation, the security forces are moving on the path of peace. He said there is a palpable difference that at the end of every operation, the next operation is taking place in much cleaner circumstances.
He added that he would also compliment people of Kashmir because they are believing in peace and it is this belief which is leading to the successful operations. He said he was sure that at the end of the next few months, they will be able to take this peace process forward and ensure that the normalcy is brought into the environment.
Lt Gen Raju said so far this year, the security forces have neutralised 102 terrorists and because of the professional manner in which these operations have been conducted, they have had just one or two civilian casualties. He said this means that the security forces have exercised extraordinary restraint and that is because they want to retain that connect with the people. He said of the 49 new terrorist recruits this year, 27 have been neutralised. But to stop this whole process, a large number of steps are being taken.
The Lt Gen said that they make fervent appeals to terrorists to surrender before the operations commences. He said that they have had limited success on this front but they have been very successful to prevent new recruitment as well as to identify those people who are on the cusp of recruitment. He further said that as far as the terrorist leadership is concerned, there is definitely a void taking place on a weekly basis. He added that there are places where the district commanders are changed because of the intensity of the operations that are being conducted.
Centre asks states to follow guidelines for effective Home Isolation to curb COVID-19 spread
The Centre has written to the States to follow the guidelines for effective Home Isolation. The Health Ministry had issued revised guidelines regarding Home Isolation on the 10th of last month. In addition, the patient will fill in an undertaking on self-isolation and shall follow home quarantine guidelines. The Ministry said that all such cases of home isolation will also be further monitored by teams of well-oriented doctors on a regular basis, their discharge should follow the required guidelines and shall be reported as per norms.
The Ministry some instances have been noticed wherein home isolation is allowed in a routine manner in certain States, and clauses of the revised guidelines are not being followed in letter and spirit.

Sports Ministry to establish 1000 district-level Khelo India centers to engage past champions in training
Government has decided to establish 1000 Khelo India Centers (KIC) at the district level across the country. These centers will either be run by a past champion or have them as coaches. The move is to tap into the expertise of past sporting champions for grassroot-level training of athletes and also to ensure a sustained source of income for them in the sports ecosystem.
The decision, while strengthening grassroot level sports, will also ensure that past champions can contribute in making India a sporting superpower while earning a livelihood from sports. Speaking about this decision, Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju said, as the government strives to make India a sporting superpower, one of the things we have to ensure is that sports becomes a viable career option for youngsters.
He said the Centre wants to ensure that anyone who has played sport at the national level has a life of dignity and financial stability. A shortlisting mechanism has been put in place to identify past champions who are eligible to either establish their own academy or work as a coach in a KIC. To build the country-wide network of Khelo India Centres, existing SAI extension centres will be given the option of converting into a KIC and recruiting a past champion to avail the financial grant under the scheme.

Pure Love : A Single Word with Deep Meanings ………..///
Love, a word which can’t be expressed in words. Is there any perfect definition of love? I don’t think so because the persons who are in love make its own definition. Some says Love is my life so some says my life is there just because of my love and there can be infinite of definitions like this as love never die it is immortal, as love never ends it last forever in the book of history. We hear so many definitions of love but what exactly the love is? Is it name to get it or the name to give it? There are many people around the world who treats love as the worst thing as it is not good but I don’t agree with it.
My question is to them are they have never loved anyone? And if the answer is no I think they are not the humans as it’s a human tendency as they spread love everywhere and even our sculptures say that if you do love your work you will definitely get success in it. Just note one thing that a love is not just the love between a girl and a boy, love can be with anything with your parents, brother, sister or with your goal, your dream, your work and that’s why I asked the above question as the person who are treating the love as a wrong thing he/she itself loves the person whom he/she is stopping to do the love.

Love is not the bad thing; just the way to do the love or to achieve it may be wrong. There are lots and lots of examples of love and we even follow them and praise them. Let’s talk about what the love really is and we can understand the true meaning of love with its symbol, with the epitome of love, with lord Radhakrishna and i think everybody knows about it. There love was synonym of purity, dedication and understanding. They explain us the real meaning of love. They told us that the love is the name to give it not to get it as the more love you give the more you get. A love is a thing which gets multiplies on sharing and divided on snatching it’s upon you what you have to choose.
As the time has changed the definitions love is also changed. Olden times love used to be from bottom of the heart and now it’s the matter of just time pass, a thing like use and throw changing the partners seems to be very easy as every now and then we get the news that they have done the breakup or he/she have ditched her or now he/she have another partner its seems to be so easy like having a breakfast in one plastic disposal and then throw it and then use the another disposal for the lunch and now it’s a trend of having GF and BF as it is treating as a sign of advancement but remember one thing that the this is not the actual love.
The actual love is the love which is there in your heart even if your heart stops beating. If you really love anyone you can’t leave her as there is no space of word like breakup in real love and many of them still do the real love.

The meaning of real love can be explained by the soldier who can even sacrifice its life for its love i.e. for her country as standing in the borders day and nights and always keeping your every sense open is not a easy task. It’s not easy to be away from your loved ones. It’s not easy to be in duty when the whole country is celebrating the festival and you are standing in the border with those heavy guns in hands.
It’s not easy but the thing that makes this difficult task easy is their infinite real love towards their country. Where I am ready to give my life but I will not let my tricolour down, it’s their love towards our nation flag that we are sitting here safely writing and reading the article, celebrating our life with our family. The soldiers are the real and live example of real love where you can give everything but will not let your Country (a symbol of love) down.
There is even more example but the love never survives on inspiration and examples it survives in our inner heart as we you can be the example. Love doesn’t depend on trends it depends on your heart. Love is not a word it’s a feeling and you can feel it for anything that love and last but not the least love is not wrong but the way to do the love and the path chosen in love can be wrong.

Correcting bad posture
First and foremost, let’s take a moment to define posture and what it means for your health
Keeping a solid alignment means that our muscles are used correctly. It decreases wear-and-tear on the joints which could result in some crappy conditions (like arthritis).
Posture impacts the bones and muscles in our upper bodies.
It minimizes the strain on ligaments holding up your spine, but it also lets muscles work efficiently and use up less energy.
A bad alignment can not only screw up your physical health but your mental health too.
We’ll be addressing it in three main areas: the neck, the shoulders, and the thoracic spine.
- Fix Your Office Chair
The first step in fixing bad posture in men is addressing the workplace. Many guys work from offices with computers and chairs.
The best way to take on this endeavor is by aligning your tools in order to engage in a way that best supports your body.
Prioritize lumbar support for the chair, and adjust its height so you can use the keyboard with your forearms parallel to the floor.
Keep your feet flat on the floor. If the chair is too high, see about finding a footrest. Ensure that your screen is at eye-level.
Place the mouse as on the brink of you as possible. A mat with a wrist cushion is a great help in preventing any unnecessary bending.
It’s a series of simple fixes that go a long way. - Go Swimming
Swimming is a godsend when it comes to solid exercise because it engages your entire core, working it out evenly.Swimming stretches the muscles in your torso to better resemble ideal posture. Doing so repeatedly strengthens your torso.
It helps your shoulders too. Since you need to pull your shoulder blades back for the right motion, it encourages a great habit for off the pool as well.
- At The Gym? Try These Exercises
Here are two which can do just that:
The lat hang loosens tight muscles in your chest and upper back. To do this, look for your nearest assisted pull-up bar. Rest your knees on the platform and grip the bar with both hands. It looks like a pull-up starting position, only you let your torso hang. If you feel it on your chest and armpits, you’re on the right track.
Seated low rows loosen up your traps. Grip the handles on a seated rowing machine, pull the cable, and keep your shoulder blades as tight as you can!
- Looking Down At Your Phone
We got science to back this one up from a 2016 study out of the Journal of Physical Therapy Science.
Their goal was to determine a relationship between posture and respiratory function. They assessed several participants and their breathing ratios while looking down at their phones.
I won’t spend too much time on specifics, but they discovered that prolonged smartphone use could negatively affect BOTH your posture and breathing.
- Fix Your Forward Head Posture
Forward Head Posture (FHP) is also known by a number of creative epithets like nerd neck and scholar’s neck.
Essentially, it happens when your head leans forward and your neck ends up being crooked. It’s prevalent for those of us who spend a lot of time on the computer.
Letting it go unchecked can lead to potentially serious conditions like Osteoporosis, Cervical Spine Arthritis, and continuous shoulder blade pain.
FHP also weakens most of your neck muscles, and even strain those on your upper and mid-back.
If you lean up against a wall and your head doesn’t naturally touch it, you might have FHP.
So, what are some steps you can take to improve it?
Try massaging your SCM (Sternocleidomastoid) muscle, which are the tight bands that extend in a “V” from your collar bone. Just press two fingers to them and begin the massage.
Start some neck flexion to stretch the back of your back neck muscles. Tuck your chin in with one hand and use the other to slowly pull your head to your chest.
- Take Care Of Rounded Shoulders
When it comes to correcting bad posture in men, rounded “mom” shoulders are all-too-common. It describes a resting shoulder position which is abnormally forward from the body’s true alignment.
hunched shoulder posture
Out of the types I’ve listed, this condition more immediately affects first impressions. Fortunately, you can remedy that.
The handclasp stretch is done by standing up straight, reaching for the sky, and clasping your hands together to establish the stretch. Gently push your shoulders back while keeping your neck straight.
Use the door frame to stretch your chest and shoulders. Place both hands on opposite sides of the doorway just above your head height. Gently lunge forward.
Squeeze your shoulder blades together while standing up straight, holding for ten seconds at a time.
- Fixing Spine Curvature – Kyphosis
Kyphosis is a common issue that often affects adolescents and adults. It has to do with the abnormal development of spinal muscles, which bad posture can accelerate.
Preventing Kyphosis is a matter of a few simple exercises.
Knee rolls are done by laying on the floor with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Move your knees slowly to one side until you feel it in your back.
With the same starting position, arch your back while keeping the upper back and butt on the floor.
Finally, bring your knees to your chest. Repeat this five times with both legs.
- Fix Your Diet
It seems obvious when you think about it: Excess body fat adds to the weight your bones need to bear. This can, in turn, cause a lot of lower back pain.
You should also prioritize foods which strengthen your bones – your posture will be improved in turn. Vitamin D and calcium are great to start with.
Too much alcohol and caffeine intake are actually detrimental to bone health.

Whenever outages found in any internet service or website service or application services like Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, the tracking graph gets a spike and it gets red. As per the website outage map, the issue is faced by Mexico, India, Singapore, and other regions also. Following the same map, the information comes up that in April, WhatsApp faced some issues.
As per the previous records,
Facebook and Instagram went down in the UK for both mobile and PC in the first week of April.
The same problem raised in North and South America along with Europe on April 2, here also millions of users were unable to access Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp.
Various parts of the world dealt with the outage problem of Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. On Instagram, users were not able to send direct messages, on June 16.
There are different kinds of interpretations coming in by the users about the error. Such outages happen when some issues remain on the server-side. One reason popularly coming in that maybe the activity tracker system of WhatsApp got crashed due to overload. Some users thought it as bug hid to their phone but it has now become a worldwide problem. Firstly the users thought the issue to be a new update of WhatsApp which has stopped showing last seen. But later on, they identify it when it fails to change the settings. WhatsApp calculates the last seen relying on online status. As per the suspicion, the activity tracker system got crashed. So this might be the cause behind not showing the last seen.
WhatsApp and Instagram all are owned by Facebook. Though till now no response has come from the company nor have replied to any tweets or any other posts. A WhatsApp tracking fan website, WABetainfo.com said WhatsApp is restoring the service, the issue will be fixed soon. It is expected that this technical glitch will be resolved in 2-3 days as the report says the company has started working on the restoring.
INTERNET AND THE CHILDREN: An Outlook

The internet is so far one of the greatest inventions of our time. It has made it possible for us to do many things. Through Skype and Facebook, we can communicate, interact and share ideas with people who are away from us and living in geographically segmented countries. We can watch videos on YouTube and use blogs to make money.
We all know that there is an age for everything. When a child under 13-years of age ventures the world of internet, he is exposed to far more matured content then what he is prepared for. The fascination on the internet that contributes to addiction are largely overlooked. Just because kids seem tech-savvy at increasingly younger ages, does not necessarily mean that their brains are developing at the same rate as their digital acumen. Children are easily influenced by it. They do not know how to say ‘no’ to something which they must stay away from.
There have been instances where the bullying took place on social networking sites which led to depression in children; even suicides in some cases. Social media sites also suggest the minimum age to open an account be 13 years. Unfortunately, many ignore the age restrictions as they choose a false birth date to explore the enticing world of social networking. Parent’s knowledge and consent must be essential for a child. Many parents do provide it but are not paying required attention to their child’s digital activities. Proper supervision and monitoring have their merits, and parents at times fail to acknowledge these. Children are not mature; they do not have the intelligence to make smart decisions online. They are also not ethically capable thinkers.
Children are not aware of their digital footprints and do not know how permanent they become. A simple photo, a comment can grow a base for people to take advantage of someone, and so their personal information is at risk. When they are exploited, they become too frightened to speak up.
Access to internet spoils class lessons as it can be challenging to concentrate on studies. A child may still be stuck in the digital world while being physically present in the school or on the sports ground. Parents also observe that even ‘child-friendly’ websites have inappropriate advertisements or pop-ups. They come while children are playing games or watching videos. These often lead to exposure to content which is not advised for child viewing and may cause the development of bad habits in some too. It is understood that children are tempted to go online, and this becomes a significant problem.
The internet is swamped with information about anything and everything, but children do not know what to see and where to stop. So, it is a collective responsibility of parents and guardians to let a child enjoy the ‘real-life’ and be prevented from hazards of ‘digital life’.
