The interior designing requires a wide range of working conditions and golden employment opportunities. Some work on regular basis i.e., some may have a permanent job, enjoying all the perks of professionalism, while others usually work on a contract or per-job basis.

In some cases, licensed professionals review the work and sign it before submitting the design for approval by clients or construction permitting.

Not forgetting some of the famous early interior decorators, here we have name of some:

The essence of interior designing will always be about people and how they live. It is about the realities what makes for an attractive, civilized, meaningful environment, not about fashion or what’s in or what’s out. This is not an easy job.

“The details are not details. They make design.”

INSTAGRAM LIKES…

Cut throat competition and consumerism are the bones of the fast-paced modern life, born out of advancement in Science and Technology.

Everyone is busy and focused to secure a career and bright future for themselves. In this business, everyone seems to have forgotten the basic morality and ethics.

It must be kept in mind, if our means are wrong, our ends can never be right. Competition can never bring anyone in seeking. The most valuable treasure in the world is Peace, Happiness and Health. They can be in hand only through righteousness. Competition are antithesis of peace, health and happiness.

So. the most ideal approach to live a great life should be doing one’s best without compromising with the morals and ethics. One must never do mean things; think mean thoughts and speak words of any type.

“The outcome will always be grand if one’s thoughts, words and acts are garnd,”

In recent era, the most hyped and commonly used application which is being used by millions of people all around the world, is namely INSTAGRAM.

It is basically a social networking site service which allows users to upload media that can be edited with filters and organized by hashtags and geographical tagging.

This is done by the people for getting likes and fame on social media in lieu of becoming an influencer or famous among people by show casing their talents and to be more specific by out bursting their thousands and millions of followers.

For increasing name and fame on social media, people especially the youth literally buy likes on their pictures, videos by requesting their followers to re-post, re-share their posts on their stories. They literally allow the strangers to openly and freely invade in their privacy and life and allow them to judge on the basis of their posts and likes.

‘Likes on Instagram’ is rapidly becoming a trend to become popular like the famous celebrities.

People just for few likes on their posts either accept money, offer money or indulge in unfair means just to show how important, supreme or popular they are among millions of people.

While surfing the internet, we can see many sites and applications offering opportunities to people to grow and boost their followers and likes on any social media by paying just a handsome amount of money.’

This needs to stop, as in lieu of boosting followers and likes, many innocent people are trapped and later some are blackmailed too.

Likes from strangers or the people you don’t even know can be dangerous for you only. A few numbers of likes can’t tell how important, good-looking or what you are capable of.

It’s just you and you only.

“Existence wants you to be you.”

Reviewing The Third Level…

Jack Finney through ‘The Third Level’ has highlighted the perspective of the people towards their stressful life. He, through the protagonist, Charley, has shown how Charley wanted to escape from his monotonous routine and find a peaceful place.

Jack Finney - Alchetron, The Free Social Encyclopedia

Charley, a common man, with anxiety, fear and stress wanted to find solace. In order to counter them, he used to collect stamps which made him stay connected with his past. His grandfather used to tell him about how peaceful the life used to be in Galesburg, Illinois. For escaping from his troublesome life he wanted to go to the Central Station’s Third Level which could help him to reach Galesburg, Illinois. His longing for comfortable and peaceful place, made Charley. hallucinate about the existence of the Third Level, a virtual place.

Thus, we can say that Third Level was indeed a medium of escape for Charley. It depicts the unfulfilled dream of his subconscious mind, which is full of anxiety and stress.

Should Wizard Hit Mommy‘, is a story within story by John Updike, reflects evils of society. Society is a mental concept in which individuals reside and support each other, but neglect the have-nots or unprivileged like Roger Skunk, who was neglected and unaccepted due to his obnoxious smell.

John Updike (Author of Rabbit, Run)

Jack, narrates the story of Roger Skunk, to his daughter, Jo. Skunk was always left alienated by all the Woodland creatures due to his foul smell. He decided to change his identity by accepting the smell of roses and thereafter he was accepted by society. Roger Skunk’s mother didn’t like the smell of roses and hit the wizard. Jo, as a child, was unable to accept the ending of the story of wizard being hit by mommy and rebelled against his father.

Jack, through the story of Roger Skunk, wanted to make Jo understand the trivialities of the society and one’s identity is pertinent for him. One should accept what nature has bestowed us with and elders are always right in their perspectives, for they are experienced.

Jack was not completely a good story teller, for, he always had the same creatures with a slight variation in the plot, but tried his best by putting expressions, sounds and gestures to make his story realistic.

What Is Bone Death…?

As India continues to fight the aftermath of the second wave of the deadly coronavirus, doctors have established a linkage between Covid 19 patients and Avascular Necrosis ( AVN) being referred to as bone death.

AVN is a painful condition affecting the hip joint and thigh bones of Covid-19 patients, adding to the long list of post-Covid complications among recovered patients.

HOW WAS BONE DEATH DETECTED IN COVID RECOVERED PATIENTS ?

The complication came to light when Dr Manish Khobragade, a recovered Covid-19 patient suddenly developed pain in the left hip joint. He initially thought that it was a simple joint pain, but since it did not subside even after a week he contacted an orthopaedic surgeon and was advised an X-Ray test. The X-Ray didn’t detect any glaring issues and was hence prescribed regular medications, pain killers and muscle relaxers. But even after a month and half the doctors felt no relief.

Khobragade said that it was at that point that he realised that the pain was different from the routine problem, and there was something wrong with the hip joint. He then got the MRI done post which he was diagnosed with bone death. However, by that time he couldn’t even stand for long hours. Even walking became a difficult task. He couldn’t squat at all.

WHAT IS AVN OR BONE DEATH ?

AVN, known as Avascular Necrosis is a condition where the blood supply to the bone gets affected, killing it slowly. “That sector of the bone dies, just like it would in the heart or the brain,” the doctors said. Because it is bone and there is a lot of structure around the bone, it does not necessarily collapse right away, but it begins to pain.

Doctors said that it is not something that one needs to keep thinking about for every piece of pain in the bone is not AVN. The pain can sometimes be attributed to a sprain or injury as well. However, “we know that this can happen in the hip. When you get pain in the hip and if there is a restriction of movement, the person concerned should seek the advice of an orthopaedic surgeon.”

Patients who have been given steroids that have improved lung function,  may be prone to get AVN on the hip. “We recognised that since the patient has had Covid-19, he may have a chance of thrombosis of his blood vessels and more likely because he has been on steroids,” they added.

HOW TO IDENTIFY BONE DEATH AND TREATMENT ?

Doctors say that the best way is to get a clinical diagnosis and can be confirmed by an MRI. This is the most sensitive test available now. Just taking plain X-rays would not be sufficient to identify bone death. The doctors said that there is a possibility of treating the condition at an early stage.

Common Man’s Woes During Monsoons.

Monsoons play an important role in our lives and they play a very crucial role in life of farmers. Without monsoons crops will not get sufficient water and hence, the agricultural sector will be badly hit.

Only wet regions may become wetter as climate changes – Physics World

But for the common man, monsoon can become a serious menace at times. Especially, since the recent floods in many metropolitans cities have revealed the lack of effort on part of authorities to solve the problem. The drains overflowed and laid bare the claims of civic societies about their preparedness. They claimed to have cleaned the drains way before the monsoons had hit but the truth is that they failed miserably. One of the causes behind this chaos is lack of strict laws and accountability of officials and the Ministries responsible for tackling the floods. The Government formulate, pass and implement strict laws regarding accountability for the projects launched to relieve people of their distress.

The poor and common man have to face the consequences of their responsibility. At times, car’s engine stop working due to flooding of water on roads. Also, the government should take an initiative to vigil these societies, so that from next season onwards, the problems are resolved and the common man get some relief.
