Superstition in Hinduism

Religion in India is very dominant over its people. People have blind trust and faith in the religion and it's practices. In India people can get killed, and people can kill for their religion.

From the day a person is born to the day he dies, he lives his entire life superstitiously. If he tries to make any progress, the fear of sin, God etc will stop him.

Indian society is a male dominated society. It doesn't matter what the standard of living of a particular person is, still his thinking and actions somewhere supports that pillar. I believe the rise in population of India is due to the desire for a baby boy instead of a girl. Here it is believed that if you keep a vow to any of the Gods and seek for a boy child, that couple would definitely get it. Sometimes by luck they get a boy and this increases the faith and belief in vows.

People make a deal with God that if I get this job I will give you this. If my son recovers soon, I will come and give you this. There are thousands of ways in which people bribe God for their own good. Even if God existed, he would never need anything as he is supreme.

It is believed that skipping one meal in a week is good for health, but here in the Hindu religion, keeping fast is to appease God, who doesn't exist. Keeping fast also doesn't mean to eat nothing, one could eat fruits and various other stuff which is not made up of wheat and all. How can a person be so selfish? Even if he is not eating, he is keeping a vow, he is doing this for his own benefit.

Before marriage it's not important to see whether a girl and boy love each other, like each other or understand each other. It's ok if thinking doesn't match, matching a horoscope is far more necessary and important. If something is going wrong between the couple after marriage it is because of the bad position and conditions of various planets in space. It's really hard to make people understand that the universe is one, the position of various planets is fixed in the orbits, how could it affect a man sitting on the earth? How can one relate to this craziness? It's really strange and shocking to see this behavior of a growing and developing society.

When a person dies and is taken for funeral, only boys can burn the dead body of his/her mother or father. Girls are not not allowed to go to the cremation grounds. This is not because they know the scientific reason, it's because they are girls.

Girls aren't allowed to enter the temple of Lord Hanuman because he never married. On one hand they worship him and on the other hand he wasn't married so girls cannot touch his statue.

People believe in the fact that ghosts exist in this world. Many claim that they have seen souls, only bad souls which eat a person at once or take him away. Where do those souls take them? No one knows. The level of Dumbness is hard to express in words. In this world no soul exists. The human body is like a machine with an additional feature of feelings, emotions and capability to think high. Heart is the engine, which pumps throughout life, the day that engine stops working, the machine is of no use. It's a kind of machine that if engine fails once it's impossible to repair it. With the body all emotions, all functions stop working. That's the end. Nobody can restart and can make it work in the form of ghosts or souls. All the evil and angels exist and live inside you and end with you.

When people worse than ghosts exist in front of your eyes openly, what's the need of bad souls which only comes in night and darkness? To trouble you? Vibes of people matter that can be evil or god.

Menstruation is one of the natural processes which every girl has to face after the age of 12 till 45-50. It's a very beautiful process created by the universe, for reproduction, and to create your young ones. In a girl’s body,  eggs exist which she lays over the membrane of blood in her ovary duct. Every month that membrane of blood waits for the sperm to fuse which later becomes a foetus and becomes a child. When the egg doesn't receive any sperm that layer breaks down and blood comes out of the body every month, which causes pain and various other problems to a girl. However, due to superstitions, a lot of stigma is attached to this beautiful process. Girl is forced to be singled out by barring her from entering temples and kitchens, to name a few places. It is so humiliating to know that everyone now knows you are having periods. This is a private thing, there is no reason to make it public, and a point of discussion.India is one of the major emerging and growing countries of the world. On one hand it is going towards westernization in terms of technology, culture and standard of living and on the other hand at ground reality it is stuck to the same old mentality. There are infinite examples to give upon these superstitious behavior of the people . Majorly in Hindu religion. For real development and progress Indian society has to rise above all these, that only will lead to real development and progress.

Advanced version of Child marriage in Indian society.

Earlier India was one of the most backward countries. No doubt it was rich in resources and rich metals like Gold and diamond and hence was known as ‘Golden Sparrow’.

Since it was not so developed, the society and thinking of people was also backward. Most of the population lived in the remote areas and hence circumference of their development was restricted.

Whenever a society is in the phase of underdevelopment, the section which suffers the most is the women class.

Women in India till today, despite this much development, are suffering and considered as a burden by many.

In the ancient period when Marwari rulers were ruling in some parts of the country, and the Mughals arrived, the Sati system was prevalent in the society. Under the Sati system if a husband dies while fighting a war, or even by natural death, a wife too has to die with her husband. She has no right to live life further. She would sacrifice herself by jumping into the bowl of fire or on his funeral pyre.

After man, woman cannot live, she has to end her life. How can one be brutal towards someone? Sometimes if any of the woman didn’t want to die she was forced by the society to commit suicide.

Women were forced to live in the house to serve the family under purdah. She wasn’t allowed to eat first, or along with the family members.

Today women themselves have adopted this system as their culture. They won’t eat food until their husband does. That time it may be done forcefully, but today they have adapted it.

Women in one or the other way have to suffer a lot, because society has put so many rules and regulations on the women, from which they cannot come out. The system of Indian society is so dominating today even on the literate women.

Earlier child marriage was so normal. Every second girl was married at the age of 10-15 years. It didn’t matter how old the boy was, he may have been a 35 year old man.

Education was not a priority in earlier times. Girls were not sent to school to receive education and hence at the age of 10 they were taught to work at home and then get married.

A time came when the Sati system was abolished from the society, which was a relief for the women section, but still she was never relieved. When a girl after child marriage or a woman becomes a widow, again she was given a life worse than jailer. She was imprisoned in a room with a beam of sunlight. She was offered food separately. She had to live alone. She was neither allowed to meet anyone nor allowed to attend any family function. She wasn’t allowed to marry another man, if she wanted to. The remaining entire life she had to live like she had no existence in the society. This was the system made by the people of the society and everyone forced each other to follow it. What if someone doesn’t follow it who the hell they are to beat, or to implement rules and regulations on anyone? This is what every individual needs to think about. This was the system of the ancient period and slowly the thinking towards widows improved. The system of child marriage was also abolished, but as the history is the evidence that, Indian society cannot leave it’s roots no matter how much it develops and adopts western culture. Now the society has brought a new culture to the market. People don’t do child marriages of their girls. They do child engagement in which at the age of puberty she is booked for a man or a boy. This becomes a symbol that the girl is now eligible for marriage. She is stopped from going to school. She learns the household chores and isn’t allowed to come out of the house until she gets married. After a few years as soon as she is near the legal age of getting married, they get married. Did anything change? No. Despite laws in the Constitution nothing changed. The only difference is they follow the criteria of legal age. The basic rights are still not given. The system continues to be the same. The above mentioned case is in one section of society which I have seen first hand. There can be many other sections which are unknown where girls might be facing worse conditions than this. Whenever a girl is born in the family, the first thought that comes in the mind of the members specially parents is how we will get her married. In India people worship goddesses, but when they come to know the gender of the baby in the womb and if it’s a girl they decides for abortion. The level of hypocrisy is too high. No matter how educated a family is, how much society says that women are equal to men, no matter how many laws and privileges given to a woman, except few parents , all say that we have to get our girl married. They consider their girl as a burden, not everybody but the majority. Parents work, earn and save because they have to get their two girls married. It doesn’t matter how capable the girl is, at the end they just have to get her married. Is marriage the sole purpose of life? I wonder. We are saying that the standard of women has improved. As compared to earlier times, it has improved a lot. But the true development is only when every woman and every section of society enjoys equal rights to that of man, not only in the field of education and basic rights but the equality at ground level, in behavior, in consideration and in preferences. The ancient roots of evil society are very strong in India. We have adapted that evil system as our culture and don’t want to rise above it. We are proud of our culture rather than questioning it. If we don’t follow our culture and do something different, it is said that we are being influenced by the western culture. The roots are too deep and strong. It would need centuries to uproot them. The struggle is so long and hard that not everyone wants to fight.

PADMAVATI’S SACRIFICE

India has been ruled by many rulers of different cultures, religions and traditions. From mughals to Britishers, and marwars to marathas. India has been ruled by these rulers over the centuries.
One who rules, makes laws, and spreads their religious and cultural thoughts among the people. They promote their religion and culture and tell people to adopt it.
Since the very beginning the condition of women has not been so well in the Indian society, whether they are muslim women, hindu women, rajput women or maratha women. This gender was always considered inferior. Women are never respected, never got privilege in society in the earlier time. They were like machines who could give birth to young ones. They are suppressed and dominated by men.
The irony is that India is a place where Goddesses are worshiped with greatest devotion. The man who beat his wife in his house, is the greatest devotee of Goddess. People can respect an unknown identity and statue of women but not the one present in front of their eyes.
Indian society has always asked for sacrifice from women. This demand has been accepted by every woman as her responsibility and culture. Being a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a daughter in law, a sister in law she finds happiness and considers sacrifice as her utmost duty.
My mother once told me that no man dares to touch you until and unless you will, until and unless you allow him. The same applies for the condition of the women in society. No doubt that society is responsible for the women's condition but I say not fully but partially. Women themselves are too responsible for their conditions in society.
When rajputs ruled over some part of India, the condition of women was the same as mentioned above. Women lived in pardas, even the queens lived in pardas, education was of course not at all made for women.
In the culture of Rajputs, Sati System was practiced, under which if a man dies for any reason, his wife has to die with him on the same funeral pyre. They consider it as the sacrifice of his wife. It is said that without a husband a wife has no existence in this world.
This universe has given life to each and every living organism. Nobody has the right to take it away except this universe. The society, its culture and norms cannot force anybody to jump into death's mouth in the name of religion and tradition.
The movie Padmavat was released on 25 January 2018 on Indian cinema screens. It is a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This movie was made to show and praise the sacrifice of Queen Padmavati. As the king of Chittorgarh lost the war with Alauddin Khilji and was killed in the war. Thousands of soldiers died in the war.
Along with the Queen of Chittorgarh, wives of all the soldiers jumped into the fire, marking the symbol of sacrifice and supporting their husbands as they gave their lives for the nation.
It is said that Rani Padmavati was a courageous woman. She was a warrior, she knew how to use all the weapons of war including swords.
When the King of Chittorgarh was in the possession of Khilji, Queen Padmavati released him with good strategy and cunning political policy.
This act of Queen Padmavati was considered as an act of bravery and huge sacrifice in Indian history. All the Rajputs feel very proud of belonging to a caste where Queens like Padmavati existed and were devoted to her husband, culture and society.
No doubt sacrificing your life for someone is an act of courage. Not everybody does it, but for me this is an act of being emotionally foolish.
Queen Padmavati was a brave lady but she didn't use her bravery and her skills when the Chittaurgarh, it's citizens and she herself needed it the most.
She could fight with Khilji with the fire of revenge in her heart. One who is courageous never spares his/her enemy at any cost. Instead of jumping into the fire and letting Khilji to rule over the people of Chittorgarh is an act of stupidity and selfishness.
She should have fought with him and saved Chittorgarh and should have taken revenge for the death of her husband.
Rani Laxmi Bai, after the death of her husband, fought for Jhansi. She was not a coward and did not die shutting the door. She fought for Jhansi till her last breath.
It's all about how you look at a certain incident. For some this act of jumping into the fire, leaving the lives of thousands of people despite having the potential to fight, can be an act of bravery, and for some like me this act can be an act of nonsense. Act if you have potential, leaving all the culture, religion, tradition and society behind.

BEING AN ADULT

Who is an adult? One who is 18 years or above.
India is the country with more than half of the population of people between 18-45 years age group.
Till the age of 18 a person attains physical, mental and social maturity. He has grown in all aspects. He is well aware of what's wrong and what's right for him.
After 18 a person is able to live and survive in this world alone. He starts learning. He can enter the world of competition and race, where it's not necessary that he must win but it's important for him to compete. To be at a better place, he should develop his personality, his knowledge, he has to look inside himself and find out his full potential. He has to find ways to explore his capabilities. He has to establish his connections in the world, he has to create a chain of events that will help him reach success.
The youth has an ability, strength, thinking power, confidence and innovative thoughts which can help him grow and can contribute to the development of the nation too. The only necessity is realization. The young people of the country should realize their responsibilities of being a youth not for the nation, not for the society, not for the parents, but for themselves first. It will eventually benefit parents, society and the nation. If the brick is strong, the building will naturally be strong.
It's a fact that you never value something which is in a huge quantity. The value is realized by the scarcity. Youth population of India is a boon for the country, but it's turning into a ban as the productive population of India is not concerned neither about themselves nor about the nation.
Being an adult doesn't only mean that a person is eligible for voting. There are so many situations where you have to behave as an adult. It is said that charity begins at home. Similarly if you want to change the nation first you have to change yourself and your behavior at home.
Generally in India parents are possessive of their children. They never let their child grow up. They continue to pamper them, and feed them. A child grows into an adult physically but not mentally. Parents don't give responsibilities to their children. If children ask for it they don't allow them to do so.
In short, Indian parents are hypocrites. They expect two different things from their children at the same time. They want their children to be successful. To be a man of good name and fame. At the same time they want to pamper them. They don't leave them alone. They don't want them to struggle. They want to give them every luxury.  They don't want them to face the same hardship they had faced. They earn for their child's pleasure, comfort and happiness.
They don't realize that all these facilities and comfort they are providing to their children is making them dependent, lazy, and unproductive. They would never struggle in their life if they get everything so easily.
Parents provide all the facilities and then control them and their freedom. If a child doesn't listen to them they feel bad that their child does not value their sacrifices and facilities they have been given.
Therefore the first and foremost step every person, who is above 18, should take is to be independent of their parents. They should be transparent. It must be clear to his parents from the very beginning that he wants to earn his pocket money on his own. He has to work and study simultaneously. This makes a child a mature adult and productive citizen.
When a person attains the age of 18 he has a fresh and innovative mind. He knows how to create new things which can bring a change in the world. Like Newton and Charles Babbage.
This universe has given everyone a unique identity and an amazing talent. Another person can help explore your talent but finding out that talent, having realization of  the ability comes from within you. Some people become successful in finding a gem from the innermost corner of themselves and some easily spoil their life.
Let's say if 75% of the population of India is youth, only 25% of them are giving output to the nation and contributing to its growth. Rest all are either busy scrolling social media, engaged in drug activities, some are being terrorists, some are being smugglers and some are roaming around in the streets and staring at girls.
Nowadays people don't want to struggle but want all the facilities. All want success but nobody wants to pay blood and sweat for it. Nobody gains anything until you give something. Every drop of water makes up the huge ocean and hence development of an individual is far more necessary than of the entire nation. If every individual will develop, society and nation automatically will develop.

LANDSLIDES DUE TO HUMAN ERRORS

Recent incident of landslides in the northern part of India has brought a renewed spotlight on the downsides of development. Life is so precious, and seeing it disappear in a few moments on viral videos on social media is disturbing, to say the least. At the same time, it does bring awareness, and the masses can begin to have an open dialogue.
The Indian Subcontinent is so diverse and beautiful. It is divided into three types of landforms i.e mountain, plateau and plains. The northernmost area of India i.e the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and Uttarakhand, has mountainous type of landform as they are at higher altitudes.
Earlier in India land routes were not very developed. Places were not easily accessible, not even in plain areas. Later the transportation system in India developed, facilities improved and now almost every part of the country is accessible, even in the mountain areas.
In plains, it's easy to construct a road or to establish a railway network but in mountain regions it's not that easy. As the technology developed, the construction of roads became possible between the mountains. Moreover, tunnels were constructed for running trains. So what is the method through which these roads and railways are being constructed?
This is done by breaking or cutting mountains through blasts with high sonic sounds. In the last few decades tourism in India has been promoted very actively, as it gives good income to the nation and helps in the growth of GDP.
India is the place where culture and religion has influenced people so much. People might not travel as a passion or for fun but they will travel to visit temples and other religious places. Kashmir is the heaven of India, Kedarnath, Badrinath and Vaishnodevi are the most popular and well known religious places of tourism.
These temples are situated in the himalayan regions. Going there once upon a time was almost impossible. Almost all the famous temples are situated on the peak of the mountains and once in a year people visit in crowds when the doors open for worship.
In hilly areas, providing goods and services was difficult in earlier times and hence the development of the transportation system has made the lives of people living there easy.
On one hand all these developments have provided accessibility to the people and have raised the standard of living of people. On other hand it has harmed the natural and real beauty of nature. Due to tourism the business and earning of people has increased, but when you try to innovate, with the help of technology for your own comfort it affects the health of the natural landforms.
This breakdown of mountains forcefully by man has resulted in landslides. When the rocks are cut ,the imbalance occurs in the adjustment of rocks and hence they break down automatically and slide down on the land causing harm to life and property.  Many times these landslides block the way.
Geographically, a landslide is the movement of the rocks and debris down a slope under the influence of gravity. Human factors are highly responsible for landslides nowadays. Construction activities of humans have increased the fragility of mountains, especially of himalayan mountains. Of all the world's landslides, 30 percent occur in the Himalaya, according to a South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC).
The main reason for these types of landslides are mining and ill planned road construction. For the generation of electricity, dams are being built on the banks of rivers in the hilly areas and hence leading to the destruction.
It is said that everybody has their limits of tolerance of torture and so is with the nature. We humans have harassed and misused the resources of nature. It's good to be productive and development is an important aspect of human society. In the environment where man lives he has to develop and innovate, but this should be balanced. If once you have burned your fingers, why put your hand again in the same fire? If it is known that these constructions are resulting in the loss of life and property and harming nature's stability,it should be stopped, but humans are so selfish and greedy they will continue doing it. When nature becomes aggressive it's very disastrous for human lives.

ELECTIONS

India is one of the largest democracies in the world. Here the government is formed directly by the people, for the people and of the people. Every citizen of India who is above 18 years has the right to choose his/her leader and representative through voting, without discriminating on the basis of caste, class, religion and gender.
All the politicians except the President and the Governor all are elected by citizens of the country. India has a proper pyramidal system of conducting elections. The central election Commission of India was established on 25th of January 1950, which conducts elections at central.
Similarly each state has its own election Commission known as state election Commission for conducting elections at state and local elections within state.
For electing Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, Chief Ministers and Members of Legislative Assembly, elections are conducted by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
It monitors the indirect elections conducted for electing the President by the consent of both the houses of Parliament and Legislative Assemblies of States.
ECI is responsible for all the head to toe management for conducting elections. It prepares voters list, provides voting booths, makes voter's ID cards, provides voting machines to each booth, manages election campaigns, monitors for preventing any type of scam in votes and voting machines. It is responsible for implementing model code of conduct 144 before 72 hours of elections. It is responsible for the delimitation of places according to population.
For both Central and State election commissions, commissioners are appointed as the heads of the commission.
After the President, the second citizen of the country is the Prime Minister, he has the executive power for implementing and amending any law. He is elected by direct elections, by the citizens of India who are above 18 and has been listed in voters list. Places are divided into constituencies over 10 lakh population each. Each constituency has one representative known as Member of Parliament, of the same political party to which the candidate for the post of Prime Minister belongs to. Which means if a person is voting for a particular representative he is voting for the leader of that political party who has stood for the post of the Prime Minister.Same is with the Chief Ministers of the states.
Municipalities and Nagar Nigam heads are elected directly by the people through voting. Same is with the case of Councillor and Sarpanch.
All this process is what one can see from a bird's eye view, the reality is always beneath the surface. Entire process of elections seems to be truly democratic and constitutional. It is fixed that the party and the representative who will get the majority of votes will be the leader, but the votes which they get in majority are they real ones?
Whenever we say politics or politicians, the first thought which comes to mind is of fraud and corruption. It's a fact that a politician is never an honest and dedicated man. He tries every means to come into power, because history is the evidence that everybody has greed for the throne, everybody wants to be superior and can rule among others. The hunger of that seat can turn every honest and responsible person into a dishonest and irresponsible one.
In order to come into power the menadatory thing is securing a majority of the votes. Therefore leaders of political parties use their financial power. They spread their workers in their areas where they give money and bribe to the voters who are either poor or in need of money. This is called purchasing of votes by giving money. By giving money they assure their votes. Even when that candidate loses the elections, the person who has been given money is mentally harassed by them.
Another way which they try out is malpractices in voting machines. They change or adjust machines in the manner that no matter to whom the vote is given it automatically goes into the account of one particular party who had changed it. Though ECI keeps an eye over such kind of malpractices but still this happens in the country.
One more way which these politicians try out is changing the settings of counting machines where it miscounts the vote.
When a candidate conducts election campaigns in order to get votes he tries to influence backward classes people by promising them various kinds of opportunities and privileges. Secondly, he tries to influence people of poor sections who don't have shelter and money. He promises them to provide groceries either for free or at cheap rates. Thirdly, he influences farmers by promising them to give maximum profit of their production. All the grains will be purchased by the government at a good rate.
Poverty, corruption, slums, cleanliness, improper roads, security of women and unemployment are some of the common and huge problems almost every corner of India is facing. Hence politicians promise to eradicate all the problems. Once they win the elections they never look back at their promises and they misuse their power by every means they can and just fill their own pockets.
There are many more things regarding elections. The list is never ending. The people choose their leaders with the hope that their problems will be listened to and can reach a solution. Leaders are those who shape the nation and are responsible for its growth as all the laws and schemes are launched by their government. He is the one who leads the nation who runs the nation. He has the responsibility to take the nation towards development and progress. A leader is someone who is never selfish and is always dedicated to the society and his work. The responsibility of administration and of being a head, a captain and a leader is not a matter of joke. If a captain  is not responsible, the ship will for sure drown.
India has potential to be one of the most prestigious and developed nations of the world. It has the power to emerge as a well known nation. India has so many young talented people who can take the country to higher levels but it's lacking in opportunities and shaping, since the very early time India has always gone in wrong hands and hence this is the condition of the nation. For sure politics is never so honest in any country but the United States and Britain are developed because of their laws and administration of the country which is done by the leader who is leading it.

MENSTRUATION

We don’t know who was the first human to take birth on this earth. For a human to take birth, it would require two other human beings. It is a classic chicken and egg problem.
Scientifically humans didn't take birth; they evolved from a single cellular amoeba found in deep oceans. As we know, monkeys and chimpanzees were our ancestors. We have evolved from them.
Either mammals, birds or reptiles in any category of living creatures the birth is always given by females. Female birds lay eggs. Female reptiles lay eggs. A female mammal keeps her baby in the womb and gives birth to the young one. So is with humans.
A female human body too lays eggs in her ovary duct every month but the eggs cannot get fertilized on their own. They need an external source i.e sperm of a male. When it enters into the ovary and collaborates with the egg, it forms a fetus which after 9 months grows into a complete baby in the mother's womb.
If the eggs are not fertilized, a layer of blood breaks down and comes out of the body every month and lasts for minimum 3 days and maximum 7 days. This is called the menstruation cycle.
When a girl attains puberty at the age of 13, that means now she is biologically eligible for giving birth to a baby, she has started to lay eggs in her body. Her menstruation cycle has begun.
Blood comes out of the body for 4-5 days on an average, and that's uncertain so a girl has to use sanitary pads and napkins to control that blood. If she doesn't use that, controlling the flow becomes difficult and it seems to be very unhygienic.
Nowadays sanitary pads are available in the market, which gives comfort and hygiene to the girls. In early times no such pads were available and hence those 4 days were hard to pass. Women have to remain seated most of the time. Especially in the context of India.
Even today in many villages of India, these pads are unavailable. Ladies and girls aren't aware of using these products as well as their hygiene. Many NGOs in India are working to spread awareness among the rural areas. They distribute pads free of cost, and teach them how to use it.
In ancient times this cycle was considered as a subject of shame and something which is very impure and dirty. A girl who was in this cycle of period, was given a corner of the house to sit. She was given a separate mat to sleep on, a plate to eat, and a glass of water to drink, which nobody would touch. She cannot sit beside anyone in the house. Entering into kitchens and temples was also restricted. It was believed that if a girl who is on her periods touched anything, that thing would become impure.
Looks like no matter how educated we may be, we continue to surrender to the ancient system and culture especially when it is related to religion.
The people of earlier times were uneducated and unfamiliar with this biological concept and hence they would have assumed according to their level of understanding.
People in India are never ready to accept the change, except very few. People don't want to change according to time's demand. Even if they are enlightened with the knowledge they cannot leave those old rules and rituals which were created because of lack of knowledge.
Even today except a few families all follow the same thinking which is mentioned above. The sad thing is that this is despite being educated, familiar with the reality of this process, well known about the biological process behind this. These people are more illiterate than those who were in earlier times. They are educated but uneducated fools.
For some girls this is something to be shameful of. If accidently she faces leakage and stain it becomes something shameful for them. She feels insecure because people around them make her feel so.
People here need to understand that it's not an easy task to give birth to any woman. From the age of 12-55 she has to face the pain she faces during this menstruation cycle, and above that feel isolated from family members and insecure among society. After this when she carries a baby in her womb for 9 months the problem she has to face is out of our imagination. The pain she experiences while delivering a baby is the most painful experience one can bear. It needs so much courage to face that, and a woman faces it, which is really appreciable.
Menstruation is not a subject of shame. It's the most necessary biological cycle without which no reproduction is possible. The people on this earth are partial but this universe has always been unbiased. It has made the sperm of men equal to the egg of women. Both are useless without each other, both need each other for reproduction.

FITNESS

The world has developed too much, everybody is running in the race of achieving success. Everybody wants to earn, achieve their dreams, and lead a good standard of life.
Earlier the population of the world was not so large and in that most of the people lived in rural areas doing a small job of agriculture, some of them would go to urban areas and cities for doing work or for their studies.
Earlier there was not much competition for getting a job, for being successful, or for earning. Living a life was not so difficult for the people of that era.
As the time passed the world developed, the race for earning and getting a job, getting success became too hard. In today’s time no one is less than anybody. Everybody is developing along with the technology. Everyone has one unique talent. Everybody is trying to be the best.
Everybody on this earth faces struggle. A student struggles to get into a good college. A graduate struggles to get a job. An employee struggles to get a promotion. An employer struggles for the best employee. Each one of us has to face difficulties in our life.
While dealing with all this stuff of life one has totally forgotten the importance of health both physical as well as mental. As people are getting technologically advanced the health issues are also increasing. People cannot maintain themselves emotionally and mentally fit. Fitness has become a least priority for everybody.
Those who can earn well, are financially strong, may be suffering from so many diseases. Some may have cancer. Some may have diabetes. Some may be heart patients. Some may be having other mental issues. All these have led to a decrease in the number of years of living.
It is said that earlier people used to live in an environment of fresh air in the village as there was no urbanization and industrialization at that time. People used to eat fresh vegetables which were harvested by zero fertilizers and pesticides, grown totally organically. Also people used to drink natural milk, and eat pure butter made at home. They used to eat all the grains which were grown totally naturally.
Nowadays as people have shifted towards urbanization and population is increasing day by day so is the demand for all the edible goods and goods. Hence nothing is available pure and organic. Everything which is available in the market, whether it is milk, curd, butter, grains, wheat, vegetables, food and many more things consists of chemicals in some quantity.
Your eating habits as well as your daily schedule has a very high impact on mental and physical health. One must always be concerned about what he/she is eating. One must always follow a proper diet which consists of all the essential nutrients. So that body doesn't face any kind of deficiency.
Everything on this earth should be balanced. One must eat everything in a balanced quantity. It should not be like eating salad everyday. It should also not be like eating junk food all day. In both conditions the body is affected.
Earlier when our parents were kids, they didn't have shops or edibles like pizza, burger, maggie, French fries, momos and many more things which are foreign products. When they go to the market, the best thing their parents could buy them is sweets and that made them so happy.
Nowadays kids and teenagers are attracted towards all the junk foods which are also not India originated and they have made it a habit. They don't like vegetables, salad, chapati and fruits. All they want is pizza, burger, pasta and noodles, which affects their health so badly. The taste of these foods has been stuck on their tongues.
It is said that if a person eats well at a young age, has a healthy diet and has got all the essential nutrients, he/she will not face any of the big diseases in his life, because what you eat in childhood and the nourishment you get when your metabolism, muscles, tissues and bones are growing lasts forever till the end of your life.
A good diet helps you to increase your immune system which supports your body and cells to fight against any of the diseases and infected viruses attacking your body. In this pandemic time when coronavirus has affected everybody's life, lucky are those who have fought with the virus even without getting admitted. It's all because of a good immune system. Many times when the season switches specially in India, some people's bodies adapt to the changing environment easily and some get sick. This non adoption is because of a low immune system.
In the Indian history and vedas, the importance of yoga and asanas is very much highlighted. The Hindu saints do penance in the mountains of himalayas and have led a life of more than 150 years. One who has practiced yoga and exercise in his/her life is always a fit human physically as well as mentally. Yoga is one of the best forms to burst up your stress. It keeps you fresh and active.
Walking 10,000 steps a day never allows your heart to fail. It never allows your body to slow down . Doing exercise in the early morning makes you happy and makes your day a better day. It makes you work with enthusiasm the whole day.
One should be disciplined in how much he/she is eating, when he/she is eating, when he/she is sleeping, when he/she is waking. It is said early to bed, early to rise, makes one healthy and wise.  If one wants to be fit and stress free with no pain and headaches, he/she must sleep on time and wake up on time because when you inhale fresh air in the early morning and get sun rays of sunrise it keeps you calm and shining the entire day.
For being fit and being healthy one must have willpower, dedication and sincerity towards the schedule and exercises he/she is doing. Laziness is the biggest enemy of a human. Even if one initiates to be a fitness freak, continuing it and not skipping a single day is the biggest  challenge. Starting to exercise is quite easy for once but maintaining it consistently is so difficult.
As technology is developing people are losing their health. Each year lakhs of people die because of fat in their body. Many people lose their life due to various other diseases which can be avoided by just implementing some seriousness towards health, dedication towards schedule and leading a disciplined life.

FADING TRUST

It is said that for establishment of any relationship whether official, unofficial, love, friendship and other, the base upon which it is built is the trust.
As humans started to survive on this earth, they began hunting and gathering. Later human civilization began to establish and in order to communicate with each other, people started using signs and symbols and later on languages were made.
Connections between people began to establish, people started interacting with each other and hence social connections and society began to form.
In India earlier more than the major population lived in villages and even today India's 65.07% of the population lives in villages.
It's said that people earlier who lived in villages were more helpful, kind, humble and dedicated towards each other. They were soft hearted and hence have the belief in the concept of joy of giving. They cannot see anyone in trouble and hence were always ready to help each other.
The most important thing which makes a difference between that time and today's scenario is that people in ancient times can trust each other, they can talk to anyone, they can make anybody who is passing by their house to sit and give him food and water. They can leave their house open if they are going outside for a few hours. People sympathized with each other.
As the time passed, people began to live a good life, people began to raise their standard of living. People began to be educated and hence to earn a good amount they shifted to urban areas, also to get good education further, they started to migrate to urban areas.
In cities, one can find immense money, comfort and good living, but what you will be lacking is a sense of belongingness and brotherhood among each other, even nearby your house and your society members. There nobody is bothered about anyone, whether a person is dying or living no one cares.
Sometimes if one is in trouble and is helpless, nobody is going to help him out. Manier times we see if an accident happens on the roadside and no medical help has been reached out, everybody will make videos on smartphones of the incident for posting on social media, but no one is responsible for calling an ambulance with the same smartphone. If an ambulance is unable to reach within time no one is liable to take a patient to the hospital by hook or by crook.
In the context of India specially, the society has reached to such a brutal condition that you cannot trust a single person, you cannot walk on roads alone, you cannot drive on an empty road, you cannot wear any ornaments in public, you cannot talk to anyone on phone while walking on the road, you cannot look for a job, you cannot ask for a job to anyone. Why? Because people here are eager to cheat, loot and steal from each other.
If you are walking alone on a street not only alone, even if in a crowd, you always find a sword of theft hanging over you. You have to hide your ornaments and phones while walking on the phone because any random person would come wearing the facade of a thief and will grab it from your neck and hand and you will be helpless.
The body of women has always been a source of entertainment for the men specially in India. Women are unsafe here by every means. Despite these many laws and privileges, women are unsafe, she cannot do night jobs, she cannot hire a taxi even in day time, if she is alone. She cannot go anywhere alone, because seeing a girl alone, they get the chance to tease her and to harass her.
People sometimes give into the greed of giving jobs and misuse them. There are innumerable examples which prove how unsafe a woman is. They are raped, their lives are destroyed by acid attacks. Such a cowardly man lives in the Indian society.
I wonder where humanity has faded? How can people be so heartless? How can one forget about helping each other? This world exists because of trust and faith in each other. If everybody will look at each other from the eye of suspicion how humanity is going to survive? how will this cycle of surviving work?

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT

Women's empowerment (or female empowerment) is the process of empowering women. It may be defined in several ways, including accepting women's viewpoints or making an effort to seek them, raising the status of women through education, awareness, literacy, and training. Women's empowerment equips and allows women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society. They may have the opportunity to redefine gender roles or other such roles, which in turn may allow them more freedom to pursue desired goals.
Women's empowerment has become a significant topic of discussion in development and economics. Economic empowerment allows women to control and benefit from resources, assets, and income. It also aids the ability to manage risk and improve women's well-being. It can result in approaches to support trivialized genders in a particular political or social context.  While often interchangeably used, the more comprehensive concept of gender empowerment concerns people of any gender, stressing the distinction between biological and gender as a role. Women empowerment helps in boosting the status of women through literacy, education, training and awareness creation.  Furthermore, women's empowerment refers to women's ability to make strategic life choices which had been previously denied them.
Nations, businesses, communities and groups may benefit from the implementation of programs and policies that adopt the notion of female empowerment. Empowerment of women enhances the quality and the quantity of human resources available for development. Empowerment is one of the main procedural concerns when addressing human rights and development.
People engage in public debate and make demands on the government for health care, social security and other entitlements.  In particular, education empowers women to make choices that improve their children's health, their well-being, and chances of acquiring survival skills. Education informs others of preventing and containing a disease. Such education empowers women to make choices that can improve their welfare, including marrying beyond childhood and having fewer children. Education can increase women's awareness of their rights, boost their self-esteem, and provide them the opportunity to assert their rights.
inequalities persist. A major concern in many countries is not only the limited numbers of girls going to school, but also the number of educational pathways for those that step into the classroom. There are efforts to address the lower participation and learning achievement of girls in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
In some parts of the world, girls and women are attacked for attending school, and societal efforts to stop this may be lacking.
Many of the barriers to women's empowerment and equity are the result of cultural norms. While many women are aware issues posed by gender inequality, others have become accustomed to it. Many men in power are hesitant to disrupt societal norms that are unfair to women.
Research shows that the increasing access to the Internet can also result in an increased exploitation of women.[46] Releasing personal information on websites has put some women's personal safety at risk. In 2010, Working to Halt Online Abuse stated that 73% of women were victimized through such sites
Types of victimization include cyber stalking, harassment, online pornography, flaming, and especially sexual harassment in the workplace. It occurs most frequently in business, trade, banking and finance, sales and marketing, hospitality, civil service, and education, lecturing and teaching. According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO), sexual harassment is a clear form of gender discrimination based on sex, a manifestation of unequal power relations between men and women.
UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is urging for increased measures of protection for women against sexual harassment and violence in the workplace. 54% (272) had experienced some form of workplace sexual harassment. 79% of the victims are women; 21% were men.
Studies show that women face more barriers in the workplace than men. Gender-related barriers involve sexual harassment, unfair hiring practices, career progression, and unequal pay where women are paid less than men are for performing the same job.
One should believe that healthy, educated and empowered women and girls are agents of change.
When women and girls are supported, they gain opportunities to speak up for their rights, and also to advocate for their communities. They are also able to rise in social standing, and they can feed this into future generations.
This means women’s organizations, women’s empowerment policies and women’s charities can gain momentum and contribute to a stronger world.

AS INDIA IS THE COUNTRY OF DIVERSITIES THINKING ABOUT ‘ONENESS’ IS LIKE A NIGHTMARE

In ancient times India was ruled by hindu kings, earlier the entire society was divided into four categories starting from higher to lower.
Brhaman were superior and were considered as gurus and mentors of the entire society. Second class was of Shatriya people; they were mainly sepoys and kings who ruled the kingdom, and their main work was fighting wars. Third class was of Vaishya people, they were Business men and were engaged in trade. The last class was considered the most inferior class, they were considered left out people and were not involved in any activity of the state, they were discriminated  in many ways.
Later Mughals ruled over India and established their hegemony, rights of Indians were infringed by them, Mughals dominated over Indians, they established their political power and have influenced the Indian political history such that till today we study their rulers in the academics. They burnt all the evidences of Indian rulers, so that people could only come to know about them in future.
As the time of Mughal rulers ended. Britishers started coming to India; they ruled almost one century over the Indian subcontinent and had robbed the golden sparrow so brutally. They broke down the unity of the nation, used it as a weapon to establish their hegemony in India.
After the 1800s Indian people started realizing the need for freedom from the Britishers, and in 1857 a revolt took place which is known as the first struggle by the Indians for freedom. Later after the arrival of Gandhiji and various other social reformers. Finally after hard struggle on 15th August 1947 India got Independence from Britishers.
Though after getting independence from the Britishers it was not easy to make India as a whole, as independence resulted as a partition of Indian subcontinent into two- India and Pakistan as Muslim community demanded for the separate nation.
India consisted of 565 princely states before independence which worked separately. The task was to unite all these princely states of different culture, religion and tradition. Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel emerged as a savior for India. He convinced all the Maharajas of princely state, still Maharaja of Kashmir and Nizam of Hyderabad want to make separate nation, they neither want to join India nor Pakistan.
Finally Sardar Patel convinced both the princely state's Maharaja and Nizam and New India was formed. Sardar Patel is known as Iron Man of India, if he would have not interfered, the structure of India we can see today would be different.
Today, India is the largest democracy of the world, with diverse culture and traditions. From North to South and East to West India is full of different colors of tradition, culture, living style, food, dance, dressing, festivals and many more.
Each corner of the country is unique within itself. In the whole world one will not find anywhere this much diversity at one place. India is famous for its diversity and culture.
In India people of almost all religions are found, four major religions of the world were founded in India i.e Hinduism, Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism.
In India since ancient times the majority of people were of the Hindu religion, others either migrated or converted themselves. Christianity was brought along with Britishers in India.
After Independence India adopted its own written Constitution on 26 January 1950 which today we celebrate as our Republic Day.
Under the Constitution India provides all rights to all religions equally without discriminating over any particular religion, culture and caste. All people of India follow one citizenship and identity of being Indian.
Therefore, India is well known globally for its title of 'unity in diversity'. All people of diverse cultures live under the shed of one Constitution and with one citizenship.
As earlier mentioned that Indian society was divided among four divisions and were discriminated on the basis of work of each caste, in order to uplift the economically and socially backward classes Indian Constitution provides some special privileges and rights to them. They are given reservation in all aspects, special laws were made for protection of their  rights.
Earlier women in society were considered as inferior and were stopped from enjoying their basic rights and hence to improve the condition of women Indian Constitution provides special rights and reservation to them.
Among Indian population the majority of people follow Hinduism, hence one religion could not dominate over the entire society, special privileges are given to minor religion followers and are given equal rights in all the aspects.
Imagine what would have happened if we hadn't got independence? Even if we would get it, what if the framing members of Indian Constitution would have not given such privileges which are mentioned above to the socially backward classes, poor and to minorities, what if any of the religion would have dominated over the entire society? What if after independence the nation builders would have chosen any other form of government rather than democratic one?
India would have missed the title of 'unity of diversity' and such a respected identity in the world. As India is known for unity in diversity, thinking about oneness is like a nightmare.
If we see from bird's eye view India is still a democratic country, united where every section of society is enjoying all the constitutional, social and democratic rights, but deep inside at the ground reality people are not ready to accept these forms of administration.
The reality is people are still fighting and rioting on the name of religion, and the main tussle is among Muslims and Hindus, from partition this conflict began and still after 75 years it is continuing, not only the India and Pakistan, the Hindu and the Muslims of within country are fighting for establishing their power and hegemony.
Hindus want to make India as a nation of Hindus, they don't want any other religion to live here, Muslims want to make India as a Islamic nation, and same is with other religion followers. At the ground level both the religion followers have hatred in their hearts and minds towards each other.
Discrimination has not been ended yet, still people discriminate against each other on the basis of caste.
Politics is always like a mirage, what we see is something that never exists and so is with India, it may seem everything is going constitutionally and equally, but reality and truth can be experienced by observing the situation at ground level.
Let's hope that this nightmare of oneness in United and diversed India never becomes real. Even if it's seeming to be.

WE ARE HUMANS DUE TO OUR EMOTIONS

If we look at the world and think deep down we wonder, who made this beautiful world, this day and night, this cycle of life, these plants and trees, rivers, hills, mountains, lakes, blue sky and little stars blinking millions of miles away? Science that the universe came into existence due to a big bang.
After the formation of the earth, who brought life to this world? That's a secret we don’t know. Every scientist, every religion, every philosophical thought gives different explanations for the origin of life on earth. Who was the first living organism on this earth?
Long long ago after the formation of the earth, and the presence of water on it, a small micro-organism known as amoeba developed. It is a unicellular organism which is believed to be formed firstly on the earth. Later, as millions of years passed, amoeba evolved and a multicellular organism was formed and then after further evolution monkeys and chimpanzees came into existence and from there humans evolved.
Human body is not less than a machine. A heart that is beating non-stop, providing fuel to every part of the body so that it can function, exactly like an engine in any machine.
Lungs inhale oxygen by breathing and this oxygen is provided to blood.
Brain which is the most important part of a human body, controls all the functions of the human body, gives commands to every part of the body, receives commands from every part of the body, analyzes them and reacts accordingly.
I wonder how beautifully this universe has evolved humans and made it the most unique creature by imbibing emotions into them.
A human being falls in love with the parents, family members, relatives and people of opposite gender. Love is something indescribable which every human possesses in his heart's corner.
Happiness is something which gives pleasure to the entire body system. People struggle and live to be happy and everybody has different sources of happiness. People live to be happy. Sometimes love and happiness are interconnected. In fact all emotions are interconnected. Love can make you happy as well as sad at the same time.
Emotions make us different from machines. We have emotions and hence have power to control ourselves.
We become sad and tears come out of our eyes, isn't that unique? We humans have feelings of pity and gratitude towards each other.
Some humans are too full of emotions and feelings, and are known as sensitive humans. Who loves too much, cares too much, is sad too much and happy as well.
No doubt every living organism which has life, also has emotions. Maybe plants and trees, ants and lizards also have emotions. Dogs, cats, cows, lions, fish. Every animal has emotions but why are they not like humans? Humans know how to express their emotions and how to control them. We can handle our emotions. Hence we are humans due to our ability to handle emotions.
Emotions give humans and each living organism a reason to live and survive. Otherwise humans too would be like machines which keep on doing the same thing over and over again. There would be no development of individuals and of society. When a person gets success in his life he becomes happy. Everyone earns to live a happy life and for their loved one.
Life is balanced due to love, hate, anger, sadness and happiness. Life is full of emotions. From birth to death.

MONEY MANAGMENT

Money is not life but it's an important part of life, to survive, to give yourself good facilities, and to live in a good condition with two meals a day. Money may not be a power, also it's not like one cannot live without money, but without it one has to struggle to survive, and has to face scarcity in his life.
As per the slave theory of Aristotle, society cannot be of people with equal living standards. Hence, the entire society especially in the context of Indian society is divided into 3 social classes: Rich people, middle class people and poor people.
What does this division depict about the people of each class? On what basis these classes are formed? It's on the basis of money, people who are rich, have large amounts of money, they had a good living. Middle class people are the one who are neither rich nor poor, they can make money to live a normal life and can fulfill essential necessities of eating and education easily. Poor class people have to struggle even for the meals, they don't have shelters over their head, they cannot afford education for their children.
It's said that home is the first school of a child, he learns whatever he sees or feels in his home environment, whatever his parents teach him, he accepts it as their reality.
A child of a rich class knows that he has money and can make more money in the future, as he is given good education by his parents, he has money in his hand so maybe he knows how to manage it.
A person of poor class will teach his child about money what? Few among them can barely afford money to give education, he could just say "study and work hard". He himself never had so much money, what will he teach about Money Management to his children.
In this democratic India where everybody has an equal right to get education, hardly there would be any school who discriminate children on the basis of financial status. The concept of money is taught to children in the home itself, here's where he sees that whether I am poor or I am rich.
A child of rich parents knows nothing that whatever facilities he is given is because they have enough money and other classes exist in this world who cannot afford it. A child of poor class doesn't know that he is lacking somewhere, he doesn't know that there are people who have all the facilities that he doesn't have. All these things he learns from his parents and the type of environment he understands as he grows up.
Sometimes even if a child of poor family studies hard and passes with the high grade, the financial conditions and mentality will be same, that he is poor, he can for sure eat well and live well, but he never tries to change himself, to explore himself, except few, all those who have came out of poverty, tries to earn more and more money, firstly for themselves and then for their children.
The above mentioned things sometimes go wrong because there are many cases, when a person has a good family background, he is born with Silver spoon in his mouth, but a time comes when he is grown up or after several years he is left with nothing and has to face poverty.
Whereas sometimes a child from a poor section comes up with great talent, determination and struggle and he doesn't face any scarcity of money which he faced earlier.
So, why these drastic changes occur in the life of people? It is because of the management of money. The amount of money a person handles to fulfill his most important needs, makes life easy and smooth. Money management is a talent, which not everyone has.
Money management is, how you tackle all your financial aspects, from making a budget and where every penny is being spent,  along with saving money for the future. If a person lacks in money management even the crores or any amount of money proves to be less to him because desires are never ending.
Under money management one has to learn to say 'NO' to any unnecessary purchasing and 'YES' to the thing which is far more important for the individual. Differentiation between what is unnecessary and what is necessary is also a work of wise human. When one has desire in mind for anything, he cannot resist himself from buying or doing unnecessary spending.
Money management starts with what assets you are having in your hand, assets like bank balance and property, one has to subtract it from all your debts or liabilities or from the money you have to spend on your essentials. The net amount which is left decides whether you have proper money management or not? If the amount of liabilities is more than assets, it puts your financial conditions in dilemma.
For proper money management the first and foremost step one should take is setting goal, this helps you to give clarity about which expenses are necessary,  and which one can be cut down. Let's say if a car is your necessity or goal, in order to buy it you have to cut out the expenses of movies, dinners, hiring taxis, buying expensive clothes etc.
No matter, if sometimes your budget goes up, you should not change your budget and the expenses on different items, this will help you to keep more money as savings and will limit your expenses. Budget should be  changed or should be made of higher expenses if you have increment, or consistently the amount of your money is increasing after sufficient savings.
People get easily influenced by the magic of market, when one goes to supermarket he/she buys many things which may not be necessary. The marketers and business man plays with the psychology of buyers, they keep goods on offer, give the scheme of buy 1 get 1 free and use many other marketing tricks and there people get stuck in the web of market's beauty.
When a person lives a student life he gets pocket money from the parents and that becomes the first step of money management, from there a child builds up the quality of money management, and that's the reason parents should leave their children in the world with small amount of money, doesn't matter if he belongs to a rich family.
Money is something which cannot buy happiness or can give happiness. It's just for fulfilling basic necessities and some hobbies, but yes money makes life easy and comfortable. It can give you a good living and it can motivate you to move ahead. Money is just the necessary evil.

IMPACT OF SMARTPHONES

Today I decided to write on the smartphone and literally I am writing on it.
In the last few decades, technology has spread its roots worldwide. It has evolved and is evolving day by day. In ancient times the survival of humans was not hard. People lived without any gadgets and enjoyed their lives, but that didn’t help them to develop, to raise their living standard, to utilize their time smartly.
Why has technology and machineries developed? For efficiency. One can do large amounts of work in a short time now that the technology has evolved.
Earlier, in order to travel 10km people had to walk for a minimum of 3 hours. Then people started using horses and bullock carts to travel for far distances. This took a period of 2-3 days to reach the destination. Time runs with the jet speed and hence transportation facilities improved. From bullock carts people switched to bicycles.
When Britishers were ruling the Indian Subcontinent, in order to export goods and material to Britain, and also within India, they established Railway routes. Today India has one of the biggest railway networks in the world. Railways are convenient and cheap means of transportation. Later road routes were also well established in India.
In earlier times, any message or information was sent with the help of pigeons and messengers. It would take days and months for the message to reach. Later the postal system was developed. And then telephones.
When telephones came into existence only a few could afford it. Sometimes in the entire village there was only one phone line. Later public PCOs opened where anyone could use it by putting a rupee coin and could talk for 2 minutes and that used to be enough.
Later many people bought telephones as the purchasing levels of people increased. The telephone became a source of happiness as communication with one another was now easier.
As the time passed, technology further evolved. Small cell phones were introduced in the first decade of the 2000s in India. In the beginning, cell phones had antennas on them. Antennas helped to get a good signal. Later antennaless phones were introduced which could be easily kept in pocket. Those phones consisted of an SMS system and one or two games, and that's what made everyone happy.
The first phone I saw had a keypad on it. Later, keypad phones too evolved and had more features like cameras and extended memory.
After the decade of 2010, the technology and evolution of smartphones have made rapid progress. Touch screen phones were introduced, along with recording of audio, video and many more features.
Later Google and other social networking sites entered the Indian digital market and from there the interface of smartphones changed. Android phones were introduced with internet facilities and vouchers.
People can now use phones to easily communicate via WhatsApp, Facebook and other social networking sites. After 2015 the Reliance Digital company introduced a Jio mobile network and provided sims to the people for free along with plenty of internet for a day.
Earlier those who were having smartphones could hardly afford internet packs, as the mobile companies like Idea and Airtel provided data packs at higher price.
After the introduction of Jio, it became easy for people to afford data packs. Reliance company has applied good business strategy, first they provided it for free so that it can be well established and later people could purchase their data packs.
No doubt that smartphones have made everyone's life easy, comfortable and convenient. They save time, and make communication easy. One can do a lot of work by sitting in any corner of the world. With the help of Google one can find out any information related to anything. One can book a train seat. One can see where it has arrived and when it will depart. One can track its locations. With the help of YouTube videos, one can learn any skill so easily. One can do business on smartphones. One can learn and teach online. One can explore his talent and can show it to the world with the help of smartphones. How easy and convenient things have become.
It has advantages as well as disadvantages at the same time. One can walk and talk on the phone. One can travel and can spend time in order to avoid boredom, but at the same time one is not enjoying the surrounding natural beauty while walking. One is not enjoying the journey while travelling. Not observing the environment around him does not help expand one’s horizon.
Smartphones have become an indivisible part of our lives. Just like we eat, we drink, we sleep, we breathe, in the same manner we use smartphones and other social networking sites. It's hard for a person to survive without a phone. You will very rarely find anyone without a phone. On one hand after this pandemic of covid-19 we did not face the loss of study, business, money and many more things due to technology, Internet and smartphones. The cycle of work did not stop but on the other hand it has become an addiction for adults, teenagers and kids. Small kids have started using phones so rapidly that they cannot get over it.
A kid of 2-3 year doesn't eat food until and unless he is not given a smartphone in his hand. Kids have forgotten to play outside since smartphones have been given to them.
Every information is available on Google and Wikipedia and hence people don’t think from their own minds. They don't want to take any trouble figuring out the answer. The process of exploring and evolving has slowed down. People have just become a puppet of technology.
On one hand technology is helping to save time and increase efficiency but on the other hand, people are becoming so inefficient, lazy and unproductive. Everything in this world should be balanced and hence the use of technology and smartphones should also. One must be aware of the fact that we invented technology. Technology did not invent us. We should not limit ourselves to being dependent on it. We must know how we can maximize its use for the development of mankind.
We should not allow technology to dominate our senses and self control.
