Education is important for all of us and it is our right to take education but today’s education system makes our study problematic and even student find it difficult to study their subjects.
Our teachers, parents only told us to study but they never told us How?
But there is always a real practical approch to do anything that you want to do and for study effectively it can also apply.
1. Adopt a study schedule
Every student studies many subjects in the school. For effective learning, we should know how to achieve more in less time and with lesser effort. It can be done by adopting a study schedule. When we make a schedule. We mentally prepare how to achieve it. It removes the uncertainty as to what we need to or not to do.
● Points to remember while making a study schedule
° Study schedule should be flexible to add and subtract some uncertain work to it which arises in day to day life.
° you should make it in such a way that it leaves. Some time in between for relaxation.
° personal preferences must be kept in mind while making a study plan
° you should always resolve to follow the schedule strictly then only you will have the maximum benefit from the study plan.
° Study schedule should include provision for homework, revision and some time for making notes.
° You should also have separate study plan for school days and holidays.
2. Make Notes
Note making is the most important skill leading to greater success in exams, but it is not enough to just make notes.
° Notes must be clear and understandable, they should be written in such a way that a glance should enable you to recall the entire subject
° Good notes are simple, well organized and easy to understand
3. Mind Mapping
Mind mapping involves visual images and other graphics details to make a deeper impression.
Because you know the fact that mind learn easily from images, songs, symbols, sounds and shapes.
Through mind mapping you can learn whole chapter or entire subject on one page.
4. How to Make Mind Map
Make mind maps on your own. Write the main topic in the middle. Add a branch extending out from the centre for each important point and add the details. Use abbreviations to learn it easily.
5. Look, Memorize, Write and Check Technique
Study a topic for some time and then close the book and write down what you remember. Now check your work with the book. Repeat this practise until you have most of the work correct and then move on to the next topic. Practice this technique on each topic twice atleast.
6. Revision- Important part of the effective study plan
It is the most important part but many students leave it as it is not important or procrastinate it for long time
° Prepare a revision plan for all the subjects.
° Keep a checklist for the all the chapters that you studied
° Do not exceed your revision time and break up the available time into study sessions and breaks.
English is a Global language that helps us communicate with each other regardless of where we are! There are billions of people in over 49 countries who speak English. When we talk about the importance of English some people may get bored because it is an ancient topic that we discuss often. ENGLISH IN EDUCATION
The importance of English in education, it makes people open their minds and establish their thoughts as words and make them a better person. Learning English appropriately and master in non-lingual subjects (Economics, Commerce, History etc.,) make them blossom in their respective fields. Students working hard to go abroad for higher studies or research, the ability to read and write English is a must. If a person could not communicate or write well in English, the percentage of selecting them will be very low.
The only thing to be worried is that we Indians make common mistakes that makes it more difficult.
WHY IMPORTANT?!
English is essential not only for getting a job, studying abroad, and so on. We should not be material or goal-oriented but we should think more, how English improves our ability and communicative skills. Acid Attacks in India is a gruesome act which almost finishes the lives of survivors. But the IPC in the year 2013 got amended. And now we have strict laws against acid attackers.
An acid attack is a very dangerous incident. This does not only happens in India but also happens in foreign countries. According to a survey most of the acid attacks have been reported in UK and Bangladesh. An Acid attack causes a serious threat to the body parts resulting in the deformation of the face, limbs & legs and it’s been observed that most acid attacks are targeted at the face of victims. Acid attack is a heinous crime. It makes the life of the survivor miserable. There are many motives for acid attacks. In India, the cause of such gravity offence happens due to love issues, rejections, sexual abuse, dowry, extra-marital reason, cruelty, ego and the list of reasons go on. This form of crime happens as a form of Revenge against women. Acid Attack is a gruesome act which is horrible in nature and has lethal consequences on the lives of victims. This kind of incident makes the life of the acid attack survivors tough and way more miserable. The victims go through a lot of pain mentally and physically. Often it’s seen, the victims don’t get social acceptance post the crime. This leads to psychological disorders in them. It creates a negative impact on the lives of women. The after-effect of an acid attack depends upon the concentration of acid thrown. Body part gets decomposed like the skull, lip, skin, face, lose of eyesight, cause of deafness, hairs & teeth are destroyed and the skin also shrinks. Sometimes the victims don’t even survive. It especially happens to women who are the victims. They often isolate themselves after such incidents. The crime against them creates post-traumatic effects. There has been an increasing rate of acid attack incidents all over the world. The Government is opening rehabilitation centres to such victims to overcome the horrible assault against them. Many NGOs have stepped forward against this social issue by creating awareness among people. In my point of view, there should be strict regulations regarding the sale and purchase of acids in shops. The acids which are used in acid attacks are very easily available and also its cheap. The easy access to such acids should be strictly regulated. Acid attack is seen as a very common issue in India. But deforming someone’s face or neck or the entire body is an attempt to kill. The lawmakers should make special laws for acid attack cases and the victims or else they should amend the IPC. In IPC section Section 326 deals with the acid attackers. But its scope is really narrow and it is not comprehensive in nature. Section 326 of the IPC does not exactly chalks out the facts but it’s also very shady. The punishment to the criminals is also not defined in this section neither the penalties and fines. But depending upon the seriousness of the offence I feel the acid laws in India should be treated seriously. Till now there was no specific law relating to acid attacks in India. But After the famous landmark case of LAXMI VS. UNION OF INDIA 2013, the acid laws are strictly taken into consideration and IPC got amended. Under Section 326A and 326B of IPC it was held that acid attack is a crime in India! The Code of Criminal Procedure Under Sec 357A and 357B got amended too!
Being an acid attacker victim is not easy! Starting a life from the beginning is not easy! Often it’s seen the victims do not get social recognition after such incidents. This is a big NO!! to such unhealthy hospitality. We should support and love the survivors for their courage!

You must be having some kind of junk food today also right? So basically junk food can be simply described as the low nutrition and high calorie food. People have started consuming much of it in their life but if they get to know about the damage they are causing to their body iam sure they will regret eating it. All the pre-prepared and packaged food are no doubt tasty but they are high in sodium, saturated fat, trans fat, and cholesterol and isn’t something you should eat often.
Eating the junk gives us pleasure but on a regular basis leads to increased risk of obesity and chronic diseases like cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and some cancers.
Junk food can be surely termed as a slow killer if you get to know how they are prepared in the restaurants and what are the ingredients used in its preparation you will never touch it again. But the taste is something that attracts us to it more and more.
People are taking baby steps to stop consuming it because slowly they have started realising it but the number of them are quite few. Really wanna know what happens when you stop eating junk food?
You can easily go to a fit figure from that round one just by quitting the junk food like potato chips ,burgers and many more because they are rich in calories which leads to the bad fat in the body.
Cravings are common but you can control them by replacing the unhealthy junk with that of nutritious fruits and vegetables to keep your tummy fill.
Excessive oil and junk also cause damage to the skin ,leads to pimples which is a big problem nowadays as people have become very fascinated about their beauty. So if you need a glowing and good skin . Just stop!! Junk food.
It also leads to avoid mood swings and provide a person with a better sleep and happiness in life by providing proper nutrition.

My biggest fear in life is to settle down with a job that pays me well. A dream of many but a fear of mine. I want constant change. So, I can experience more. I want to live my life to the fullest. I want to make sure I do not settle anywhere.
I knew the life I wanted from a young age. But, that doesn’t mean it is an easy path. Our society expects a stereotypical decent job from us. Society wants to do what is easy. It wants us to start existing and forget living.
I cannot just exist. I want to live.
Living and existing both means to stay alive. But, existing is living a boring life and doing what is necessary for survival. While living is enjoying our time doing things we love.
Living doesn’t mean that you forget about your job. Our world is a place where we have to pay money to live. The concept does not make sense to me. But it is the sad truth. So we do have to earn to live.
For me living would require doing what I love and not just on the weekends. When I say I want to live, I mean that I want to enjoy my job. Which is a bizarre idea for people around me. To them, having a job or being successful cannot be fun.
What we all have to understand is that success is different for everyone. For some people, success will be settling down because they fear struggles. But, for me, success is doing what makes me happy. I know that my only way of succeeding in life is doing what I am passionate about.
When we are young, we all have a will to live our life to the fullest. But we grow up and are forced into reality. We get trapped in rules and responsibilities. We forget our true selves and start falling into the trap of existing. Existing is always accepted by society. Society wants us to simply exist. Even if it makes us unhappy.
We need to put a stop to that. We need to take life into our control. We don’t have to live a boring life for safety and security. All of us have a purpose in our life. Every single person has something that they love and would be good at. But, our society forces us to put our dreams aside.
A lot of people also fear not having a plan in their life. Which doesn’t make sense. You cannot expect 17-year-olds who barely have life experiences to choose what they want to do in their life. Things do not even go according to our plan. I know so many people who ended up doing things completely different than their plan.
So, I want you all to calm down. Take a moment to find yourself. Do what will make you happy.
It is your life. You are allowed to do what makes you feel alive. Listen to the stories of successful people. You will see them talking about how they stopped caring about society and following their dreams. That is what got them to a place where they are.
Waste management has evolved into one of the most pressing issues facing humanity today. We are producing massive volumes of garbage of all types as a result of the phenomenal growth in human population and industrial activity. Waste can no longer be dumped or buried and forgotten because of its sheer size. Electronic garbage is one of the most complex wastes to manage.
Lead glass, batteries, mercury, cadmium, chromium, and ozone-depleting compounds are among the toxins found in e-waste (CFCs). Electronic garbage is responsible for 40% of lead and 70% of heavy metals detected in landfills. Groundwater contamination, air pollution, and soil acidification are all caused by these contaminants. Impaired brain development, cancer, and liver and kidney damage are among the health issues linked to such poisons. Waste management is gradually becoming a sustainability concern, rather than just a problem to be solved. Waste management has evolved into a systematic process that includes the collection, transportation, and correct disposal of garbage, sewage, and other waste products, as well as the provision of various options for recycling and repurposing waste.
According to statistics, the globe created over 42 million tonnes of e-waste in 2014. India has surpassed China as the world’s fifth greatest producer of electronic garbage. Medical equipment accounts for around 8% of annual e-waste output, and it is increasing.
4R’s of waste management
Reduce: Producing more garbage and then attempting to control it consumes more resources and, in any case, increases dumping. Instead, campaigning for waste reduction in the first place is gaining traction. This entails extending the life of items and reducing use-and-throw options. Refurbishing medical equipment and utilising it for extended periods of time not only makes healthcare more inexpensive, but it also helps to reduce e-waste. The average life of medical equipment can be extended by at least 2-3 years with proper usage, frequent preventive maintenance, and calibration. We owe it to our environment to properly maintain our medical equipment so that it is not dumped unnecessarily and untimely.
Reuse: Use reusable alternatives whenever possible. As we all know, technology is always growing, and in the field of medical equipment, more items with higher capabilities are introduced every year. If hospitals want to improve their equipment, they could sell their existing used medical equipment to another hospital in tier II or III towns that could still use it. In hospitals, several medical devices are sanitised and reused on a frequent basis, including scissors, forceps, specula, and endoscopes.
Recycle: Breakdowns and a lack of spare parts are two of the most significant obstacles to utilising equipment longer. Electronic components and PCBs abound in medical equipment (Printed Circuit Boards). Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) such as the motherboard, power supply board, control board, transmit-receiving board, display board, Sensor Interface Boards, and others can all be repaired, which can help medical equipment last longer. Even X-Ray and CT tubes can be fixed and reused. In comparison to using newer parts or purchasing new equipment outright, these methods make it cheaper.
Repair: If a piece of medical equipment has reached the end of its useful life or is beginning to endanger the safety of a patient or user, it is best to dispose of it responsibly. Printed circuit boards contain a variety of elements that can be removed and utilised in new devices. E-waste contains ferrous metals, copper, silver, gold, and polymers, which can all be recycled and profitably repurposed in new goods.
TSP (Team Software Process) is a guideline for software product development teams. TSP focuses on helping development teams to improve their quality and productivity to better meet goals of cost and progress. TSP is designed for groups ranging from 2 persons to 20 persons. TSP can be applied to large multiple-group processes for up to 150 persons. There are 8 steps for implementing PSP and TSP. Each step is focused on solving particular process problems.
1. Objectives of TSP
1.To build a self-directed teams that plan and track their work, establish goals and own their process and plans. These can be pure software teams or integrated teams 2.Shows managers how to coach and motivate the team members so that they can give peak (high) performance. 3.It accelerate (increases) the software process development
2. Goal of TSP
The goal of the TSP is to build a ―Self-Directed‖ project teams that organizes itself to produce high quality software.
3. Activities of TSP
1) Project Launch: It reviews project objective and describes the TSP structure and content. It assigns need and roles to the team members and describes the customers need statement. 2) High Level Design: it creates the high level design, specify the design, inspect the design and develop the integration plan. 3) Implementation: This uses the PSP to implement the modules and the functions. 4) Integration and Testing: Testing builds and integrates the system. 5) Postmortem: Writes the cycle report and produces peer and team review.
4. TSP Advantages
Defines roles and responsibilities for each team member.
Track quantitative project data.
Identifies a team process that is appropriate for the project and a strategy for implementing the process.
Defines local standards that are applicable to the team‘s software engineering work;
Continually assesses risk and reacts to it;
Tracks, manages, and reports project status.

Education is more than a black board and ahead of the school text books. Woefully education has just been dumped and limited to the curriculum followed in schools which comprises of science, mathematics, social science and languages. These five subjects cannot solely provide the skills required for the career of every individual in the long run. Although the above subjects frame a basic foundation for the students, education is beyond this small circle. It should facilitate quality learning all through the life which should be enduring. Education should be concentrated on a wide range of fields and provide platforms to exhibit the potentials of students across various sectors. Co curricular and extra curricular subjects are also very salient to be emboldened by the school managements to formulate a better path for the students. Let us take a look on some of the topics that could be enhanced and introduced in the school curriculum.
Physical training is a course taught in schools that focuses on developing physical fitness and it also promotes the student’s interests towards the various sports activities. In most of the schools this subject would be scheduled just one/ two periods per week and the students would be earnestly waiting for this period to arrive because this also acts an area of relaxation form the other tedious subjects. The sad reality is, the allotted two periods would also be taken away/borrowed sometimes by the other subject teachers. We take much pride if a person from our country/ state represents himself/herself in the Olympics. But the struggle faced by each individual to achieve such an eminent position is very challenging and they have to undertake trainings externally and some cannot afford to do so. Some even fail to take the opportunity due to the lack of training and guidance. Physical training should be given equal importance as the other subjects and if this is regularized in schools we can perceive many astounding talents.
Value education is the subject that inculcates moral values in students which aids them to shimmer in the society. Education without the social values is fruitless and ineffectual. The basic etiquettes taught will transform the students into better humans. It includes interpersonal developments, social mannerisms which develops students into a sensible person with strong character and values. The purpose of value-based education is to make the student work with the right attitude and standards to face the outside world. Value education helps students to become more responsive and practical. In some schools this subject is just concentrated at the time of exam. The objective is not only to recognize the values but also to reflect them in their behavior and attitudes.
Arts – Arts education encompasses a range of activities that help students with the development of motor skills, language skills, communication, inventiveness, problem solving skills etc. It stimulates the imagination and fuels it. It is a process of learning to create ourselves and supports the bigger view of life. These activities and experience help students to make sense of the world. This can boost the inner confidence in them to involve in productive works of their interest.
Computer knowledge Computer science is a subject in some schools only in the higher secondary education. The contemporary world being digitalized in all forms it is requisite to educate the computer knowledge form the early stages of life. This would be very helpful for the students to get along with the technologies and also in dealing with future projects and presentations.
Mindfulness(yoga) The stress of being a teenager should not be underestimated. Mental health is equally important as physical fitness. Mindfulness can develop skills for concentration and impulse control. Yoga, simple meditation and breathing skills will help in an efficient way for the younger minds to work more effectively. These classes could be taken for at least a period of 15 min to 30 min before the regular classes. It reduces and eliminates stress. It augments self esteem and empowerment. Mindfulness improves the student’s cognitive performance and better emotional and social intelligence.
The above topics and many other related subjects could be intensified and augmented in the school curriculum for a mindful and efficacious learning!!
Shashi Tharoor is a writer and that too an extraordinary one. He is a legend and his pen has the power to change the world through his words. He writes others maybe imagine but can not put into appropriate words. He has many published works which are just perfect. One such work of his is the book named An Era of Darkness : The British Empire in India. This book was also published in United Kingdom under the name Inglorious Empire : What the British did to India. It was of course a best seller. This book basically depicts what is in Shashi Tharoor’s mind about the British rule in India. His ideology about the British Empire is written in this amazing work. Through this book he wants us to know about “the origins of the difficulties that confronted India.” , as stated by himself. In simple words, he wants us to understand about the evils of the British Rule in India and how it affected us. He strongly desires an apology from the British, same as whole of the country does. In his opinion, an apology would be most desirable, rather than compensation by cash or other valuables. This book also exposes the corruptions during that period along with questions their claim on superiority.
He deeply explains the way how it all came to the establishment of British Empire and also about why it all happened. He puts light on the manipulations of the British on the people of our country. He has clearly stated in his book that “this book is an argument and not a story.” He argues that the ruling record of the Indian governments is far better than the British. He accepts the fact that the British has in fact paid the reparations in form of aids over the years, but he is adamant that they were not due to guilt. According to Tharoor, India suffered many problems and conflicts due to racism, wars, disputes for kingdoms and other several problems, under the British Rule. He also states in his book that “this just basic knowledge about the history of our country but is still unknown even to the educated Indians.” He stresses on his point of the reparations, by saying that day by day it is getting late to amend things but it’s certainly not that late. The damage is done but can still be somewhat repaired to some extent.
Tharoor has remarked that every single thing the British did and the rules they imposed on the citizens were for their own benefit and not ours. He is right of course in all his arguments. The correct word for the Rule of British in India has to be ‘rotten’. The British Rule and their Empire was rotten in terms of all the policies they put up to follow, all the standards as compared to ours. He has done an impeccable job on the book and made us realize what we had forgotten with time.
A group of students with team named “AVISHKAR” from IIT Madras have been working tremendously towards the technology behind the future of transportation, HYPERLOOP. The team comprises of forty students from various department of IIT, madras. They have been working on this new prototype hyperloop project since last November.
BUT, WHAT IS HYPERLOOP?
Basically, hyperloop is a high speed mass transportation system. A hyperloop is a super speed ground-level transportation system in which people could travel in a hovering pod inside a vacuum tube at speeds as high as 760 mph (1220 km/h).
While talking about the product, Neel said, “Hyperloop is a proposed mode of transportation in which many pods will be traveling inside a vacuum tube, capable of attaining high speeds due to no air friction and reduced air drag.” It IS the fifth and most efficient mode of transportation that the world is moving towards, he added. Further he said, “Because Hyperloop is sustainable, it works on electrical energy, we can install Solar panels on top of the tube, which could store energy and the same energy could be used to propel the hyperloop. This is way more sustainable .”
HOW DOES A HYPERLOOP WORK?
It has three major components: a tube, pod, and terminal. The tube is a large low pressure system that is sealed and tube can be constructed either above or below the ground. A pod is a coach that runs inside this controlled system and this pod employs magnetic or aerodynamic levitation along with electromagnetic or aerodynamic propulsion to glide along a fixed guideway. The terminals are used for arrivals and departures. Hyperloop is based on simple science called Magnetic levitation. But one thing that needs to be noted is, that it requires complex machinery and sensors to make a Pod travel at nearly 1000 km/h inside a vacuum tube. However the team has cracked that and named their pod “GARV”, which translates to “PRIDE”. It consists of Carbon Fiber shell, packed with advanced machinery and sensors.
STATEMENT:
Pranit, who is Head of Braking Module, said that Garv is their second Pod which is more efficient and lighter than the one they designed for SpaceX. “This time we are introducing several technologies like linear induction motor to achieve ‘contactless propulsion’ and ‘contactless braking. The motor produces a magnetic field which makes the Pod move forward and the contactless Braking has magnets which come closer to the rail, creating a Braking force and decelerating the Pod,” Pranit added.
Parth, a member of the Controls team, said, “Our team started in November. Everything we did online such as brainstorming sessions and discussions about the simulations. Once we were confident, we came back to the institute and started working on the Pod.” He said, “We are participating in European Hyperloop Week which will be conducted on 19th – 25th July and Valencia, Spain. Because of the pandemic, we are forced to compete virtually, but that is not a setback for us.”

Tiananmen square is a city square in Beijing, China. In 1989, there were student-led protests and demonstrations calling for democracy, free speech and free press in China that culminated in this square. The pro-democracy student protestors had marched through Beijing to Tiananmen Square following the death of Hu Yao bang, a former communist party leader who had worked to introduce democratic reform in China. In mourning Hu, the students called for a more open, democratic government and also demanded the resignations of Chinese Communist Party leaders who were deemed repressive and inadequate. For nearly three weeks, the protesters kept up daily vigils, marched and chanted. The event drew around one million participants and was being captured and reported on by news channels all over the world. It had become a global event, but one which would have a terrifying ending.
The Tiananmen Square Massacre
The government had considered negotiating with the demonstrators and offering concessions. However, many in power were opposed to this and decided that to avoid anarchy, the protests needed to be suppressed forcibly. To this end, martial law was declared in Beijing, and army troops were stationed around the city. Initially, attempts by the troops to reach Tiananmen Square were thwarted by the citizens of Beijing who flooded the streets and blocked their way. Eventually however, the Chinese government decided to crack down on the protestors in Tiananmen square with all their might. They sent soldiers and security police that stormed through Tiananmen Square, firing indiscriminately into the crowds of protesters. Tanks and heavily armed troops advanced toward Tiananmen Square, opening fire on or crushing those who tried to block their way.
Hence, carnage ensued as tens of thousands of the young students tried to escape the terrorizing Chinese forces. Other protesters fought back, stoning the attacking troops and overturning and setting fire to military vehicles. Once the soldiers reached the square, a number of the few thousand remaining demonstrators chose to leave rather than face a continuation of the confrontation. By morning the area had been cleared of protesters, though sporadic shootings occurred throughout the day. By June 5, the military had secured complete control, though during the day there was a notable, widely reported incident involving a lone protester momentarily facing down a column of tanks as it advanced on him near the square. This incident is now a famous picture that serves as a representation of what happened at Tiananmen (featured image of the article).
The Aftermath
In the aftermath of the massacre and crackdown, the United States instituted economic and diplomatic sanctions on China for a time, and many other foreign governments criticized China’s handling of the protesters. Leaders and governments worldwide condemned the Chinese government’s military actions. Still, the Chinese government arrested thousands of individuals who were suspected to have been involved in the protests, and many of them received prison.
From the outset of the incident, the Chinese government’s official stance was to rationalize their actions, calling the protesters ‘counterrevolutionaries’ and minimizing the extent of the military actions. The government’s count of those killed was 241 (including soldiers), with some 7,000 wounded. However, most other estimates have put the death toll much higher. In the years since the incident, the government has attempted to suppress all references to it, and public commemoration of the incident is officially banned. However, the residents of Hong Kong have held an annual vigil on the anniversary of the crackdown, even after Hong Kong reverted to Chinese administration. It remains a sensitive topic to date in China, and there is little to no discussion or debate about in Chinese public forums. Regardless, everyone in China and in the world knows and remembers the tragic events that occurred in Tiananmen square and the protestors that died while wishing for a better China.
