Importance of workout.

Working out with consistency is important for achieving fitness results. Creating a workout plan will help you to achieve greater consistency. A commitment to a regular workout regimen will increase your fitness level, improve your health and generate a greater sense of mental well being.

Scheduling Your Workout

Once you have decided on the type of exercise you want to engage in, creating consistency means being realistic about how much time you need to devote to your regular exercise regimen. Create a workout schedule that involves at least a few minutes a day for a warm up, 20 minutes for a cardio activity and additional time for strength training and a cool down. You might write down your schedule to solidify your commitment to your exercise plan.

Consistent Workouts and Mental Health

A consistent workout regimen reduces stress and increases your mental well being. When you work out regularly, your body releases endorphins that enhance your mood. You have probably experienced these positive feelings after finishing a cardiovascular workout. You might also find that when you go for days or weeks of not exercising, your energy level decreases and your mood is not as heightened.

Sticking to a regular exercise regimen will keep you feeling revived both physically and mentally. When you exercise with consistency, your muscles will develop gradually and your mind will experience reduced levels of stress and greater relaxation.

Strengthen your bones and muscles.

Regular exercise can help kids and teens build strong bones. Later in life, it can also slow the loss of bone density that comes with age. Doing muscle-strengthening activities can help you increase or maintain your muscle mass and strength.

Increase your chances of living longer.

Studies show that physical activity can reduce your risk of dying early from the leading causes of death, like heart disease and some cancers.

We should make working out our daily habit to lead a happy, healthy and long life. Since we all know that the benefits of working out or exercising are enormous that is why it is absolutely necessary to incorporate working out in our daily lives.

Organ trafficking

Organ trafficking is a very big issue which the world is facing right now. It is a deadly crime which robs human beings of their healthy life. It is essentially an illegal business of human organs, tissues and body parts. They use them for transplantation. It is bringing down the human body to the worth of an object. They trade them off for a little money or some other commodities. There are various reasons why this happens greatly in all parts of the world.

Causes of Organ Trafficking

When we look at the problems people are facing in today’s world, a lack of organ donors is the main one. There are too many patients nowadays and too few volunteers. Thus, when the supply and demand do not match, crimes like these will rise.

Most importantly, poverty is a great cause of this. People who are in great debt or in need of money sell off their organs to get some temporary relief. They get very less amount than the actual worth. Furthermore, illiteracy is also a great cause. Those who are not educated are not aware of the consequences of selling their organs. They do not know the health hazards and are very vulnerable to this crime.

The children in war and developing regions are also very vulnerable to organ trafficking. When they get displaced from their homes, the traffickers make them easy targets. Furthermore, deceiving and dishonest medical firms and people also are a major cause. As organ transplant cannot be done without proper knowledge of it, people of the medical field who are corrupt contribute to it.

The lack of proper implementation of laws also contributes largely to this problem. As there are no stringent laws against this crime, the traffickers have no fear. Moreover, they also get off easy which makes it easy to commit this crime.

Impact of Organ Trafficking

Organ trafficking has a negative impact on society as a whole. The poor people get robbed off their good health due to this crime. The traffickers exploit them endlessly to make sure they do not betray them.

Moreover, kidnapping and human trafficking also happen due to this crime only. The traffickers abduct and traffic children into selling their organs. Some also murder them after their work is done to not leave any proof behind.

Organ trafficking also impacts the health of a person as well as their safety. The high demand for organs results in diseases and illnesses amongst people whose organs are trafficked. People also rob others so they can sell their organs. Even medical firms are losing their credibility because of such illegal practices.

Therefore, we need to eliminate this crime to protect people. The government must take strict measures and implement stringent laws against this crime. We must spread awareness about organ donation so people can donate their organs after death so the supply meets the demand. This will ensure no organ trafficking happens. Moreover, people must also be made aware of the dangers of organ trafficking so they can be better prepared and aware of the consequences.

Man and the Environment

Environment is the surroundings of man. Earth is a big environment. Man lives in the environment. Man depends on the environment. Whatever he gets, he gets from the environment. Whatever he gives, he gives to the environment. The environment contains natural resources. He exploits them for his welfare. As he uses more and more, it deteriorates. Man knows the effects of deterioration. So he conserves environment.

Uses of Environment

The environment serves mam in the following respects:

1. It provides substratum for man to live.

2. It supplies food

3. It supplies oxygen for respiration

4. It supplies water

5. It supplies carbon dioxide for photosynthesis

6. It supplies energy resources such as coal, petrol, diesel, etc.

Threats from the Environment

Man controls his environment. However, man is threatened by natural disasters such as, Cyclones, Earthquakes, Floods, Droughts, Landslides, Volcanoes, Fire accidents, Nuclear accidents, etc.

Environmental Deterioration

Overpopulation, modern technologies and industrialization lead to the deterioration of the environment. The following factors cause the deterioration of the environment. Air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, oil pollution, thermal pollution , Nuclear pollution, Noise pollution, plastic pollution, pesticide pollution, acid rain, Ozone depletion, Global warming, world war, Nuclear weapons, Biological weapons, Photochemical smog, Loss of Biodiversity

Conservation of Environment

Man is well aware that environment becomes part and parcel of his life. He also knows that it is deteriorating. Hence he initiated steps to conserve the environments. The following steps are taken to conserve environment: limited use of resources, Reuse of wastes, Reduction of wastes, Recycling of wastes, Vermicomposting , Eco-friendly biofertilizers, Eco-friendly biopesticides, Rain water harvesting, Remote sensing, Use of clean technology, Use of wind energy, use of sunlight as energy

SAVE TIGERS

To save tigers, we need to protect the
forest habitats across Asia where they live. By saving biologically diverse
places, we allow tigers to roam and preserve the many other endangered species
that live there. As a large predator, the tiger plays a key role in maintaining
healthy ecosystems.

Reason For Tiger Disappearing

Deforestation loss of Habitat

Forests are being cut down for various
purposes like paper, palm, housing, furniture, firewood. Deforestation has been
the cause of a truly massive number of species extinction in modern times and
historical times. It always lacks the large biodiversity of its previous state.
With the disappearance of the original forest, many species go extinct, and
many that don’t lose a great deal of their genetic diversity and variation.

Tiger’s skin

Consumers demand for tiger body parts
poses the largest threat to the tiger. Tigers are being illegally hunted for
their skin, bones, teeth, nails, etc. which are highly valuable for medicinal
use and remedies. In the past 10 years over 1000 tigers are hunted to meet the
consumer demand. Chinese people use tiger skin and other body parts for
medicinal use and black magic with the disappearance of the original forest,
many species go extinct, and many that don’t lose a great deal of their genetic
diversity and variation.

Spread of disease among tiger population

There is certain disease that spread like
an epidemic. Diseases like Feline Panleukopenia, Tuberculosis, Sarcocystis have
to lead to endangered of tigers. Health Management of wildlife is neglecting.

Loss of Habitat

Tigers need an intact habitat in order to
live. They like to live in the depth of the thick forests. 100 sq km area is
sufficient to survive about 15 to 16 tigers. Males’ tigers run throughout the
forests to hunt and mate. Thus habitat loss causes birth rate and lowers
overall survive.

It is mainly found on the continent of
Asia. A decade ago, tigers were hunted for their skin and other body bones, so
the Indian government declared the tiger a national animal.

Conservation Status on Save Tigers

Tigers require an extremely large habitat
to hunt prey and raise their young. Moreover, tigers are solitary animals,
which means they generally live alone. Tiger cubs usually stay with their
mother for about two years before venturing out to establish territories of
their own. Tigers used to be more widespread before man started to encroach its
habitat. In fact, the current habitat of tigers is severely dwindled, with an
estimated 93% lost in the last few decades. Consequently, the tiger is now
listed as an endangered species by the IUCN Red List. For perspective, at the
start of the 20th century, an estimated 100,000 individuals had existed in the
wild. Today, that number is less than 4,000. If humans continue with their
destructive actions, tigers may become extinct.

How To Protect Tigers?

With the population of tigers dwindling at
an alarming rate, many countries across the world have launched campaigns that
are designed to help increase the tiger population. One of the most important
campaigns launched by India is the Project Tiger, which was launched by the
first woman prime minister of India – Indira Gandhi. The project was very
successful in its endeavour, tripping the number of Bengal tigers from 1,200
(1973) to 3,500 (1990). However, the numbers have significantly reduced again
due to poaching.

8 Hardest Languages to Learn In The World For English Speakers

Which languages are the most difficult to learn? You can see where different languages broke off as you peel back the onion to the beginnings of language creation, often known as the ‘Old World Language Families.’ You may now see why Spanish has parallels to languages such as German, Italian, and French. And why Korean is comparable to Mandarin, Japanese, and other Asian languages. We’ll concentrate exclusively on the most difficult languages for English speakers to learn.

1. Mandarin: Why it’s so difficult: English may be the most widely spoken language on the planet, but it comes with its own set of challenges for native speakers. Because Mandarin is a tonal language, adjusting your tone can give a word a whole different meaning. Thousands of letters, intricate systems, and a wealth of homophones make it one of the most difficult languages to learn in the world.

2. Icelandic: Why it’s difficult: The Icelandic language has remained unchanged since the ninth and eleventh centuries, but it continues to add new meaning to old terms. It also doesn’t help that there are only about 400,000 native speakers with whom you can practise.

3. Japanese: Why is it difficult: There are three distinct writing systems in Japanese: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. Japanese students must first study thousands of distinct characters in these writing systems before they can begin writing. It is, nevertheless, much less difficult to learn than Mandarin!

4. Hungarian: Why is it difficult: As previously stated, most languages are descended from the Indo-European language family. Hungarian, on the other hand, is a Finno-Ugric language in which words are produced separately. To put it another way, it’s not the way English speakers generally construct words or phrases. ‘With my [female] friend,’ for example, is shortened to to ‘barátnőmmel.’ Are you perplexed yet? We’re in the same boat.

5. Korean: Why is it difficult: Korean is an isolated language that is not related to any other language family. There’s more, though. There are seven main speech levels in Korean, which native speakers switch between, depending on the formality.

6. Arabic: Why is it difficult: Despite the fact that there are 221 million native speakers from whom you can learn, Arabic remains one of the most difficult languages to master. First, when writing, vowels are not included. To make matters even more complicated, most Arabic letters are written in four distinct ways depending on where the word is placed.

7. Finnish: Have you ever seen The Lord of the Rings? The Elvish language was founded on the Finnish language by author J.R.R. Tolkien. Finnish, like Hungarian, is a Finno-Ugric language with a lot of grammatical intricacy. And just when you think you’ve figured out how to translate Finnish to English, you’ll discover that current Finnish speakers have their own method of expressing emotions that differs from the standard translation!

8. Polish: Making pierogies is one thing, but speaking the language of the country that produces them is another. The Polish language’s complexity can be divided into two categories. First and foremost, the pronunciation. For novice learners, simply saying ‘hello’ (cześć) is a headache because the ‘c’ and’s’ are pronounced significantly differently than in English. The other is that the Poles have seven different gender-affected grammatical cases and seventeen different cases for numbers. Yes, there are seventeen distinct ways to say ‘ten.’

The main crux is that the most difficult languages to learn for English speakers are determined by a variety of criteria, not just one. The number of speakers, linguistic origins, resemblance to English, and other factors all contribute to how difficult it will be to learn. Every language will have its own set of difficulties, but it will also have its own set of rewards, joys, and fulfilment. Remember that whatever language you choose to study, your time will be well invested.

Armadillo

Physical description

The armadillo, an ancient mammal that first appeared 65 million years ago, is currently represented by approximately 20 different species, the most common of which in the US is the nine-banded armadillo. It averages 0.75 m in length (including the tail) and 6 kg in weight. The armadillo boasts a unique carapace, or hard, protective outer shield encasing the body, covered with a dark brown keratin layer. Beneath this layer is a well organized arrangement of bony tiles that are closely compacted and connected by collagen fibers. The carapace is divided into five regions: head, pectoral, banded, pelvic shields and tail. The tiles are hexagonally shaped in the pectoral and pelvic regions and triangular along the mid-section.

Habitat

The nine-banded armadillo is distributed from northern Argentina to the southern US, living in a wide range of environmental conditions. The armadillo is most active at dusk and during the night in order to avoid predators and extremes of temperature, though this varies with climate and seasonality. The nine-banded armadillo, compared with most eutherian mammals, has an atypical endothermy characterized by low and variable metabolic rates and body temperatures. Some armadillos are insectivores, but many species, like those of the genus Dasypus, also feed on fruits, roots and small vegetables. Armadillos swallow their prey together with soil particles, which provide iron.

Behavior

Armadillos dig burrows for their homes or to escape predators, and a single armadillo can have several different burrows with multiple entrances. Pregnant females always give birth to identical quadruplets. She produces one egg that splits into four identical offspring that are either all female or all male. This trait differs from most other mammals.

Armadillos are fascinating in other respects. When they need to cross narrow water bodies, they often walk on the bottom underwater. If it is a wide body of water, they will inflate their stomach to twice its normal size, allowing for enough buoyancy to swim across. When startled, armadillos often leap high into the air, and then run quickly to a nearby burrow.

Feeding

Armadillos are largely insectivores but may consume fruit when available. Their skull, jaw and teeth are adapted to a specialized diet. Their tongue is sticky with rear facing hooks giving the tongue a rough texture. The armadillo’s diet consists mainly of invertebrates including insects (beetles, wasps, moth larvae) and also ants, millipedes, centipedes, snails, leeches, and earthworms. The exact composition varies by season, availability and geographic locations. Studies show they also consume fruit, seeds and other vegetable matter. They have been reported to consume newborn rabbits and at least one robin. It is unknown if they merely found these animals dead or not. Other items known to be consumed by armadillo include salamanders, toads, frogs, lizards, skinks, and small snakes.

Populations

The sex ratio by litter is 1 male litter (= 4 identical quadruplets) per 0.78 female litters in Florida. Armadillos probably live 6 to 7 years in the wild. Population density is about one animal per 4 acres but could range as high as two animals per acre.

Problems with armadillos

Armadillos prolific rooting and burrowing can damage lawns and flower-beds. To reduce armadillo damage to your lawn, keep watering and fertilization to a minimum.  Moist soil and lush vegetation bring earth worms and insect larvae to the surface of the soil.  Armadillos can sometimes be enticed to move on by watering areas adjacent to the damage site.  Also, watering gardens in the morning is preferable since the soil can dry out in the afternoon and not be as easily detected by noctournal armadillos. Armadillos can be excluded from small areas with extensive damage by using fencing at least 2 feet high and with an apron buried at least 18 inches deep. Armadillos are also particularly attracted to fermenting fruit. Remove fallen fruit to avoid attracting unwelcome wildlife.

10 Interesting Facts About Harry Potter

There’s no arguing that “Harry Potter” is a cultural phenomenon, whether you’re a die-hard fan or a Muggle who’s only seen the movies. Here are 10 interesting facts that you did not know about the Harry Potter franchise.

1. Rowling and Harry Potter share a birthday: J.K. Rowling: J.K. Rowling’s birthday comes on July 31st; being the author of Harry Potter, Rowling took the advantage of the writing license, and decided to give her birthday (except the year, of course) to her main character.

2. Rowling gave her characters names that reflect their roles in the series: Rowling’s world-building is legendary among fans, and the unique names she gave her characters are no exception. She disclosed on Pottermore that she came up with names for 40 Hogwarts students in Harry’s year, including every member of the Golden Trio, early in the creative process. Harry’s name, for example, refers to his leadership skills, while Ron’s refers to his function as a sidekick. “Harry” is a Middle English variant of the name “Henry,” which has been popular among English kings for ages. Rowling appears to have based “Ronald” on the Old Norse “Rögnvaldr,” a title for a ruler’s adviser. Hermione’s name, which comes from Shakespeare’s “The Winter’s Tale” (as well as Greek mythology in general), has less to do with her personal characteristics and more to do with her Muggle parents’ desire to come up with a witty pseudonym.

3. The “Harry Potter” books have been translated into around 80 languages, from Albanian to Hebrew to Scots: The “Harry Potter” books have sold more than 500 million copies worldwide and have been translated into 80 different languages, including Scots, which is spoken as a first language by 90,000 people.

4. Rowling jotted down the Hogwarts house names on an airplane vomit bag: Many people, including celebrities, connect strongly with a Hogwarts house. Rowling first scribbled the words Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff on the back of an aircraft puke bag, which may surprise you. In 2017, she divulged this tidbit on Twitter.

5. When she invented Dementors, Rowling drew from her past experiences with depression: Rowling struggled with depression when she was in her twenties. Dementors, she said in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, are based on the “hollowed-out feeling” of sadness. “I know sadness. Sadness is to cry and to feel. But it’s that cold absence of feeling — that really hollowed-out feeling. That’s what Dementors are,” she stated.

6. Rowling planned in advance who would meet a grim fate in the series — but she decided to spare one character’s life at the last minute: One of the plot aspects that Rowling planned ahead of time is character deaths. She had intended for Ron’s father, Arthur Weasley, to die in “Order of the Phoenix,” but she altered her mind. In a 2007 interview with “Today,” she said, “I think part of the reason for that is there were very few good fathers in the book.”

7. Some of the most expensive costumes to make were the Hogwarts uniforms: The Hogwarts uniforms were arguably of the most expensive clothes in the series to produce because they contained silk ties and wool sweaters. She previously told Insider, “I never wanted to use anything but the most beautiful material.” “The ties are silk, the sweaters are wool, and the gowns are made of a very expensive material.”

8. Some of the food on set was real: Despite the fact that part of the food in the “Harry Potter” films was painted resin, there were edible things in the mix for the feast scene in “Goblet of Fire.” Try some of the wonderful options at Universal Studios’ Wizarding World of Harry Potter, from butterbeer to bangers and mash, if you want to eat like a Hogwarts student.

9. Edinburgh, Scotland, where Rowling resides, provided a ton of inspiration for the series: The Gothic architecture, cobblestone streets, and tight alleys abound in Scotland’s capital. From Greyfriars Kirkyard, where the “genuine” Tom Riddle is buried, to George Heriot’s School, a private institution whose turreted architecture inspired Hogwarts, Rowling was fascinated by the city’s locations.

10. Like the multitude of spells in the series, Hogwarts’ official motto is also in Latin: Rowling is well-versed in Latin, having studied Classical languages and mythology at Exeter University. The series’ many spells, as well as Hogwarts’ motto, “Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus,” (“Never tickle a sleeping dragon”) are based on that old language. “You know the way that most school slogans are things like persevere and nobility, clarity, and fidelity or something,” Rowling noted in a 2005 BBC interview “it just amused me to give an entirely practical piece of advice for the Hogwarts school motto.”

Essence of Winter

During winters, schools usually take a break and close down. The days are shorter and the nights get longer. The chilly mornings give you a different sense altogether. Hot drinks like coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are enjoyed more during winters. The sun rises quite late and sometimes it does not.

Even when it does, it doesn’t get a bit hot. People long for a little sunshine as the cold weather sends chills down the spine. You see people on the roads burning woods and paper to get a little warmth. However, not many people prefer going out in winters. They like sitting by the fireplace or heater all day.

In the hilly areas, people experience snow during winters. They have to shovel it out of the way to make way for walking. The essence of winters is enhanced by Christmas as well. It sets the holiday mood for people and is admired all over the world.

As the animals do not have proper shelter, they too lose their lives. In addition, many flights are also canceled during this season. Nonetheless, this does not make winter any less important. It is quite essential to maintain balance in the weather of our country.

Why I Love Winter?

I personally love winters. This season brings a lot of healthy fruits and vegetables. People get the chance to eat fresh grapes, apples, carrots, cauliflower, guava and more. Furthermore, so many beautiful flowers bloom during this season. These flowers include roses, dahlias and more. This makes winter even more beautiful than it already is.

Other than that, no lizards are to be found as they go in hibernation. This makes me very happy and lets me live fearlessly. Most importantly, winter mornings are the best part of this season for me. I like getting up early in winters and witnessing the morning dew on flowers. There is a different vibe altogether that comes with winters.

Also, our school organizes bonfire which is one of the most awaited events of the year.

In short, winter is as important as any other season. Sure, it may have its negative sides and positive sides, but that happens with every season. Winters helps you enjoy long morning walks and fresh air.

The youth is important because they will be our future. Today they might be our partners, tomorrow they will go on to become leaders. The youths are very energetic and enthusiastic. They have the ability to learn and adapt to the environment. Similarly, they are willing to learn and act on it as well to achieve their goals.

Likewise, we see how the development of any country requires active participation from the youth. It does not matter which field we want to progress in, whether it is the technical field or sports field, youth is needed. It is up to us how to help the youth in playing this role properly. We must make all the youth aware of their power and the role they have to play in nation-building.

Ways to Help the Youth

There are many ways in which we can help the youth of our country to achieve their potential. For that, the government must introduce programs that will help in fighting off issues like unemployment, poor education institutes and more to help them prosper without any hindrance.

Similarly, citizens must make sure to encourage our youth to do better in every field. When we constantly discourage our youth and don’t believe in them, they will lose their spark. We all must make sure that they should be given the wind beneath their wings to fly high instead of bringing them down by tying chains to their wings.

Furthermore, equal opportunities must be provided for all irrespective of caste, creed, gender, race, religion and more. There are various issues of nepotism and favoritism that is eating away the actual talent of the country. This must be done away with as soon as possible. We must make sure that every youth has the chance to prove themselves worthy and that must be offered equally to all.

THE STRESS FACTOR

While there is no denying that the world loves a winner. It is important that you recognise the signs of stress in your behaviour, and be healthy to enjoy your success.

Firstly, let me tell you what is stress? What does it mean? Stress is a physical or emotional response the body of the person has when changes occur in their daily life. When we hear the word ”stress” then automatically one thing comes in our mind that the person is suffering from something bad in their life. Stress can be caused from anything like work, relationships, money, illness and family issues etc. Mainly at this time, when the whole country is suffering from Covid-19, it is found that the stress rate has increased very much because of many financial problems, health- related problems and the sudden deaths of their loved ones.

Stress can strike anytime, in a fashion that may leave you unaware of its presence in your life. While a certain amount of pressure is necessary for performance, it is important to be able to recognise your individual threshold. For instance, there are some individuals who accept competition in a healthy fashion. There are others who collapse into weeping wrecks before an exam, or on comparing marksheets and finding that their friend has scored better. Whenever there is a change in external environment such as temperature, pollutants, humidity and working conditions, it leads to stress. In these days of competition when a person makes up his mind to surpass what has been achieved by others, leading to an imbalance between demands and resources, it causes psycho-social stress. The professional under stress behaves as if he is a perfectionist followed by depression, lethargy, weakness for further work. Periodic mood shifts also indicate the stress status of students, executives and professionals.

THE IMPENDING OBSOLESCENCE OF PHYSICAL STORES

With the onset of the pandemic, people are less willing to go to a physical shop in order to buy a product, and in fact many reputed brands have even closed down their physical shops owing to this lack of activity. After a year of observing lockdowns, work from homes, and online schooling people have become accustomed to making purchases online. This can be concluded from the all time low attendance rate in physical and the emerging behavior of consumers to buy consumer non-durable goods ( Washing machine, TV, Furniture) as against earlier only consumer durable goods (Mobile Phones, Grocery, Laptops).

This phenomenon can be a result of various factors. One such may be the ever growing advancement on technology, and to be more particular AR technology. AR (Augmented Reality) has come so far that we can virtually try on a dress to see how it looks on us. Online store also boasts a full inventory of all the products versus physical stores that can only hold a limited inventory due to its tight space. Consumers also have easy access to real time information about products, pricing and quality and social media enables them to amplify their options and complaints. Price transparency made available to consumers by online retailers maintain pressure on margins along with whole value chains. Additionally, margins are being squeezed by more frequent markdowns combined with constant discounts, as consumers expect year-round discounts. Prices across different brands can also be compared easily.

One thing coming out clearly is this. brands and distributors would need to spend more on digitally influencing their sales. they should not get overly focused pushing more digital online sales through their own websites as shoppers prefer pure-play e- commerce aggregates like Amazon and noon more than a brand or distributer websites. Their focus would need to be on reducing or rationalizing their brick and motor investments and increasing their digital influencing costs. The timing is just about appropriate. Strong distributors should ensure that they are financially prepared to pounce on an MNA opportunity when it arises specifically by reducing debt and freeing up cash. They should evaluate their portfolios more than once a year close deals quickly and build a robust and integration capabilities. With tech platforms empowering users to control campaigns, companies will be forced to re imagine the costs of their digital campaigns.
