Being in the imagination or live in the realistic world .

Being born in money or torn away by poverty is the world where we live

The Hallucination

Are the money makers living their life without fear ?

Can a poorer get to live more life than its fated ?

Will you ignore the one who hurt you immensely ?

Or like a coward , can you run from the truth ?

If yes , than pray to god for providing you such an imaginary world . Don’t take it seriously but you really need to wake up .

The Truth

The life that we are living is not a game to play . We need be realistic while taking decisions in our life . I don’t want to sound like an arrogant person . But we need to think before taking any decision because it may or may not harm our future . In our life we only focus on materialistic things and grow accustom to them . Which leads to the situation where we become selfish and fiercely jealous to one’s personality .

We judge them regarding to their status , money , power , clothes and their physique . Ding ding …. It’s time for the truth we become impetuous .

So what we learn from OJO -MOJO . 1. Like OJO that donot study and fail in your class. OR 2. MOJO that learn workhard and get award from the school . I choose options 1 (hehe don’t get any ideas I am a hardworker so I will choose my handsome MOJO not an overconfident OJO )

The REALITY

Not against the world of imagination just a believer of reality .

Life is not easy I agree with you but can we make it easy , Is the question only you can answer .

For me , we can only when we are focusing on our work rather than its result . I am not repulsive about getting a promotion on my first day on the work . But I am excited about learning new things and improve my capabilities . That how we need to react . I didn’t get the idea of getting a luxurious jet when I didn’t even have a penny to spend on my health . Well if you can just don’t forget to take me as well ( Huh.. greedy me ) .

I do imagine my life being in the island with some hot people around me ( its a wild imagination) . Well I can’t change that . But what I can change is the accept the reality ( like sitting in my PJ’s , eating popcorn and drooling over Michele Morrone yeah I am fan of 365 days ) .

Conclusion

Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them; that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.

Learn to Apologize

Photo by Brett Jordan on Pexels.com

Apologize when u do a mistake.Sounds cliche right?

But it has a deep meaning and significance.

There are two possibilities either you have done something for which you should genuinely apologize and second is you have not done anything wrong but still being accused.

Let’s discuss the former ,

If and when a mistake is committed by you be it intentionally or unintentionally, apologize for it.

It may so happen that your actions/words didn’t directly culminate to a mistake but have adverse indirect effects. So ,by keeping your heart out of ego ,empathizing with the victim , just apologize.

Your mistake might not feel big to you but could be grave or fatal for the other party.

You might have caused deep cuts by your words, causing injury to their soul.

Irrespective of your awareness of the grief, apologize.

It will not just Help them move on but also help yourself from avoiding any further regret. A man Can live poorly But living with guilt It’s some thing no one can afford.

So for the sake of your own selfishness at least, learn to apologize.

It is not easy to become brave and accept your mistakes. But it is wise and appropriated.Bowing down doesn’t make you weaker,it only helps you grow as a person.Self introspection grows stronger and your quest to success begins.Identifying and realising your mistake is an indication of self awareness and diluted self ego.

So next time you cause hurt, mental or physical intention or unintentional

Apologize.

Now the question is when you know you have not done wrong and the other party is falsely accusing you. After self introspection you come to know that you aren’t at fault,no facts support you are wrong and the other party is falsely framing you for selfish purposes.

Do this,

First of all realise that this person is not your friend if s-he does something like this.Cut off this toxic person.

Do not apologize when you aren’t wrong.Take your stand. You aren’t nothing to bow down when you are right.Stand up for what you believe.

Provide facts or statements of your right.Convince those who care about your arguments. Those who do not care won’t care even if you are right.

Give counterarguments .Do not sit down helplessly. If the person is important to you then try to explain yourself if not once then thrice. If s-he doesn’t trust you regardless, leave.

Trust is an important tenet of any relationship-friendship.If you cannot trust you ,you should not keep them.

You need to achieve a balance between right and wrong.

A wrong means for a right future is not always justified.

So today’s mantra-

Organize yourself, your thoughts and never bow down your ideals to someone who doesn’t value you or your thoughts.

Care for yourself just like you would care for others.

When wrong,do not shy away from apologizing.

What is Python programming language?

Python is one of the most popular and fastest-growing programming language. Inherently, it is interpreted, high-level, general-purpose, and object-oriented scripting language, which means the following:

•Interpreted

An interpreter processes the source file at runtime, it reads the lines of code, one by one and performs what is said. Similarly to Perl and PHP, Python does not require that you compile your program before executing it. So, you do not have to invoke a compiler. Instead of running the compiler that helps turn source files into compiled class files, you simply run a .py file. Python byte code compilation is automatic and entirely implicit.

•High-level

Python relies on easy-to-read structures that are later translated into a low-level language, the original code that is run on a computer’s central processing unit (CPU). A high-level language is intended to be used by a programmer and the written code is further interpreted into a low-level language. Like C++ or Java, before running, Python has to be processed. This enables Python’s portability — it can run on different kinds of computers with nearly no modifications.

•General-purpose

Python can be used for nearly everything. It is applicable to almost every field for a variety of tasks. Be it the execution of such short-term tasks as software testing or long-term product development that involves roadmap planning, Python works well for them all, it is applicable all over the map. Its roles are unlimited. It is popular not only among software engineers, but also among specialists in other fields: mathematics, data analysis, science, accounting, and network engineering. Likewise, Python cliques with young people because it’s a very beginner-friendly scripting language.

•Object-oriented

This programming paradigm gives an overall orientation towards scripting and powerful code structuring. This object-oriented approach allows thinking of problems in terms of classes and objects. Then, objects are composed in such a way to make up complex computer programs. Beside the object-oriented programming, Python also supports a procedural paradigm. With OOP being only one of the options, you can make Python programming more advanced by going for an object-oriented programming approach. Developers can create reusable patterns of code thus curtailing redundancy in development projects.

World that lives inside : In consideration to Mental Health .

“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.”

John Green

A great quote by a great person , yeah I also believe it but do you ? .

Who am I ? Am I gaining weight , what if people doesn’t like me ?

What will happen when I tell her I am depressed ?

How do I know I’m unwell ?

How do I react if my relatives finds out ? .

These are some questions that we asked ourselves in our daily life . 5Ws and 1H (Why , who , how , what , when, where ) . Aristotle used them as an element in order to distinguish vocabulary. And what we are doing. is we are using them to explain one’s personality ,distinguish them and then despise them .

That’s how it starts , THE MIND GAMEPLAY . We differentiate , we compare , we make fun of others , we got jealous , we take harsh decisions, we judge others and we ask ourselves that where I was wrong .

Then , we start to get depressed , cry , nervous – breakdown , anxiety and so on……. This cycle is more complicated than Ojo – mojo friendship . Just kidding …

Let’s get in the topic .

Yes , we are talking about mental health . Which most of us ignore more than advertisements on TV’s . Like I said doesn’t matter . But what matters the most is the ignorance of your own health .

In present scenario , mental health takes a major role world wide and our mother land India is not far behind .

As , the pandemic takes a harsh troll on people of all over the world . Others died due to the confined places , loneliness , family members death and anxiety attacks caused by lack of oxygen and also one of the important aspect of mental illness.

How we can check our metal health ? Are we mentally fit or not . Now , if you ask me I do have solution . And u want to know about one secret . It will only take 5 min. so now you don’t have to waste more time on search .

5 min. Mental Health Check :-

1. Have my muscles been streched ? 2. Have I been nice to myself and others?
3. Have I eaten regularly and healthy ?
4. Have I had good enough sleep ?
5. Am I hydrated enough ?
6. How am I feeling ?
And yes last but not the least be truthful to yourself .
And like this you get to know that you are mentally healthy or not .

Conclusion

Like physical health , mental health is equally important .
Small things can cause a lot of problems . So before things get out of your hands , grip it with a tight leash .

“You don’t have to control your thoughts. You just have to stop letting them control you.”

How I Topped Boards and You Can Too! – Book review

Are you a student who is worried about your 10th grade or 12th grade board exams? Well, you need not worry anymore. ‘How I Topped the Boards and You Can Too’ by Gaurav Sood has all the tips and tricks you need to excel, not only in boards but also in other school exams. You do not need to be a topper to top; anyone, me, you and even your dog can do it(or maybe not your dog)!

This book is an honest guide. It contains all the details regarding one’s preparation, from day 1 to the finals. All the eating habits, sleeping habits, notes preparation, and other important aspects of a student’s life are covered. At first look it might seem like a self-brag book rather than a self-help book, but as you progress further, you understand the author’s emotions. All his so-presumed brags serve as good inspirations. One can both be great at academics and life. Also, the tips are not some magical spells, you do need to add your hard work to make them work, after all this is not some fantasyland(sorry to remind you but you live in a boring, no-magic world).

This book indeed helped me to score great in my exams. It is unlike other self-help books. In this book the author dives deeper,  giving us his own experiences as a teen. All the myths regarding ‘toppers’ are shattered throughout the book. Moreover, all the help tips are not just his opinions or some make believe, he has given scientific explanations and referred to scientific researches too. I loved this book even more because of the interesting way in which it’s written. The author has used amusing language to keep the readers indulged. You may or may not find some very interesting memes in this book(I loved them!). The summary chapters are wonderful; they provide a quick glance of all the preparation tips.

The book is more than a mere guide. It is a motivation, asking us to seek the best within ourselves. As Gaurav Sood says, “If you want to be the best, you’ve got to want it more than everyone else. It has to come from within.”

I wish to rate this book a 5 stars since it truly deserves it. I recommend this to all teens who are too stressed for the boards.

About the author:

Gaurav Sood graduated from The Doon School as the all-India ISC Board examination topper in 2008. He secured 99 percent, the highest marks in India’s history, and was felicitated with various national awards.

He then did his bachelor’s in economics from St Stephen’s College, where he secured the most sought- after campus-recruitment offer—a role as one of the youngest management consultants at McKinsey & Company.

Gaurav then took his GMAT and TOEFL exams, where he got a near-perfect 780 and a perfect 120, respectively, and is currently on a full scholarship at the University of Oxford.

In his free time, Gaurav can either be found trying to (unsuccessfully) emulate Roger Federer on the tennis court or tormenting people in the vicinity with his music, under the name Rooftop Sundays. He’s also a terrible cook, who, by some miracle, once managed to explode five eggs. Understandably, he’s now banned from his mother’s kitchen.

Real key to success- High IQ or High EQ?

Most of the people believe that high IQ is really important to be successful in life and we also had evidence to prove the fact. Just look at some of the most famous people in the history like Shakespeare, Leonardo Da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Isaac Newton, Stephen Hawkins or Marie Curie; they all something in common and that is high IQ.

And it is only recently that scientists have started realizing the importance of emotional intelligence and its contribution in our journey to be successful.

Emotional intelligence is a form of intelligence that is required to function effectively in a workplace. A good IQ is not enough to be successful in life. You may find many people who are academically talented, but are unsuccessful in their own life. They experience problems in family, workplace and interpersonal relationships.

Emotional intelligence is defined as “the ability to monitor one’s own and other’s emotions, to discriminate among them, and to use the information to guide one’s thinking and actions”. Emotional Quotient (EQ) is used to express emotional intelligence in the same way as IQ is used to express intelligence. A person with high EQ is able to express empathy and is able to cooperate and work effectively with colleagues.

Emotional intelligence is receiving increasing attention by schools and employers. Many programmes are being made for improving emotional intelligence as they encourage cooperative behavior, develop better teamwork and are very useful in preparing students to face the challenges of life outside the classroom.

It helps to manage your emotions in stressful situations and encourages positive thinking. It helps us in handling criticism better and instead of getting offended, work on self improvement.

Music: An Underrated Stress Buster!…

I was going through some tough time these days. I felt like drowning in anxiety and overthinking. I didn’t even tell anyone about it.
One day I got so much lost in anxiety that I had to tell it to my best friend. He was talking with me, trying to convince and comfort me but it didn’t help. Meanwhile, a song from the movie ” Dear Zindagi ” was playing inside my head. I waited for a while and then opened my music application and played that song. I was listening to music after a very long time. With my headphones on, I was listening to music. On one side, my friend was convincing me and on the other, I was listening to music. After some time, I was feeling a bit calm and relaxed. Music helped to burst my stress.
I used to be an active music listener. But these days, I got stuck in life issues so much which took me away from music. Stress has become a major part of life. To counter with it, I even begin to meditate. But now I feel only meditation won’t help, music also needs to be there.
We must have heard from many that meditation can help you to relieve the stress. It is absolutely true that meditation, deep breathing exercises help you to stay calm and reduce anxiety. But now after coming back again to music, I feel the music is very much underrated. Soothing music can help you heal. Music has the power to change your mood. It can bring you from a state of anxiety to the state of peace. So what measures do we need to take when we feel anxious? Firstly you need to meditate and go through a deep breathing exercise. After that, you should go through your playlist and play the songs you love for a long time. But you need to play only soothing songs as they can only calm you down. One more thing, listening to music with headphones on will create a major impact. Headphones make you stay there to listen to music. It will prevent your mind from wandering towards negative emotions. These small things can help you a lot to maintain the peace. Give it a try!…

Find Happiness In Little Things!…

Rick was a scholar guy. He always used to top the boards. Everything was good with him except for his financial background. This made him scary and he used to be always under stress. Every little thing happening around would bother him deeply. He never dared to take risks in his life because of this fear. Rick was very much into himself and had very few friends in college. There was a girl in his class. She was always in a race with Rick for the first rank. She tried to talk to Rick at times but Rick’s fear made him run away from her. After a few days, Rick began to speak a little with her. She was a carefree girl, thinking about a single day at a time and living it at fullest and Rick used to be under stress every day thinking about the future. So basically, she was exactly the opposite of Rick. Now Rick was feeling comfortable being with her. He began to share things with her which he never did with anyone. He began to open up in front of her and she was just setting him free from his every single fear. She was an angel with a magical wand for Rick. She came into his life and changed it totally. Now Rick was confident about everything. He now dared to take risks to succeed. He even forgot that he had a fear disorder in the past. She made Rick meet his inner and actual self. Now Rick was a happy guy. Later they end up marrying each other and lived happy life together.
We also behave like Rick in our life. Rick is a character replica of Raju Rastogi from 3 idiots. We knowingly or unknowingly search for the one in our life who will set us free from all our scars and fears and be with us till the end.
When a human is born, the first thing it does is to cry. Crying is considered as a sign of sorrow. But our life begins only with a cry. It is the only time when your mother and loved ones smile when you cry. This is what tell us that there is happiness after sorrows.
You grow up. Life begins to show it’s a darker side to you. It’s the time when a face which used to smile on every little thing begins to cry and worry for everything. Our brain has the only job that is to think. When you encounter tough situations in life, your mind keeps on recreating the scene, again and again, making us anxious. You must have heard about the saying that you don’t laugh on the same joke again and again then why do you worry about the same thing again.

DON’T LET YOUR ANGER CONTROL YOU.

Anger is a common, normally healthy, human emotion. But if it goes out of control and becomes destructive, then it can lead to problems—dilemmas at work, in your relations, and the overall state of your life.

Anger is “an irrational state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and rage,” according to Charles Spielberger, Ph.D., a psychologist who specializes in the study of anger. Like other emotions, it is accompanied by physiological and biological changes; when you get angry, your heart rate and blood pressure go up, as do the levels of your energy hormones, adrenaline, and noradrenaline.

Anger can be induced by both external and internal events. You could be annoyed at a specific person or event, or your anger could be caused by agonizing or thinking about your difficulties. Thoughts of traumatic or infuriating situations can also trigger hostile reactions. Failing to control your temper can begin to a variety of difficulties like stating things you lament, shouting at your kids, abusing your co-workers, posting rash emails, growing health problems, or even resorting to material violence. But not all anger problems are that severe. Instead, your rage might mean losing time pondering about bothering matters, becoming frustrated in traffic.

Controlling your anger doesn’t signify getting annoyed. Instead, it means discovering how to identify, cope with, and display your rage in healthful and productive ways. Anger control is a skill that everyone can acquire. Even if you believe you hold your temper under check, there’s always scope for progression. Wrath is an emotion that can vary from mild exasperation to extreme fury. While numerous people classify violence as a completely “negative emotion,” it can be positive. Resentful reactions may push you to reach up for someone or they may lead you to build convivial change.

Although when left unchecked, hostile reactions can direct to destructive behavior, like shouting at someone or damaging goods. Bitter emotions also may make you retreat from society and transform your rage within, which can affect your energy and welfare. Anger can become unsettled if it’s felt frequently or too deeply or when it’s displayed in harmful forms, which can take a toll physically, psychologically, and ethically. For this purpose, anger control tactics can be useful and can aid you to explore fine means to display your emotions.

Concentrate on the bodily responses of rage: While it may appear unreasonable, harmonizing in the way your body responds while you’re annoyed usually reduces the fiery force of your rage.

Get running: A quick walk or run nearby the block is a fabulous opinion. Physical movement discharges repressed energy so you can approach the circumstances with a calmer front.

Apply your feelings: You can use vision, olfaction, sound, touching, and taste to instantly reduce tension and calm down. You can try hearing your favorite music, relishing a mug of beverage.

Stretch areas of tautness: Rotate your arms if you are tensing them, for instance, or lightly rub your nape and scalp.

Steadily count till ten: Concentrate on the counting to make your rational mind make up with your emotions. If you still feel out of control by the time you reach ten, start counting again.

Acquire adequate sleep: Deprivation of sleep can intensify cynical thoughts and leave you seeming disturbed and gruff. Try to take seven to nine hours of good quality slumber.

Workout frequently: It’s an efficient method to burn-off anxiety and relieves tension, and it can leave you sensing more comfortable and positive during the day. Try to spend at least 30 minutes every day.

Be clever regarding booze and narcotics. Even consuming too much caffeine can make you more irritable and prone to anger.

Despite all your attempts, something will occur that will provoke your fury; and seldom it will be defensible anger. Life will be filled with disappointment, grief, failure, and the random activities of others. You can’t correct that, however, you can improve the approach you let such issues concern you. Managing your hostile acknowledgments can prevent them from causing you even more miserable.

Letting Go: Beginning Of Peace!…

What does letting go mean to you? Is it easy to let go of things, thoughts, feelings, love, hatred?. Of course, it is not. But we hear it every day from our near and dear ones. They keep on asking us to let go and move on.
But do we follow them? No, we don’t. Our mind is nothing but an ocean of thoughts with about 70,000 thoughts every day. Not to surprise, 95% of these thoughts are negative. Our brain responds to every single thing happening around us. It observes things, analyze our own way and make us think about it. Our brain has everything in it. Emotions, joys, sorrows, love, hatred, anger, cries and every emotion. When we are happy, positive hormones are generated in the brain but when we are sad, the brain keeps on thinking about it building a whole cluster of negative thoughts. The worst thing is these thoughts attack our mental peace and make us restless. If someone does bad to us or someone made us suffer or cry, we keep on thinking about it and our brain holds this bundle of negativity in it which pinch us every single day.
So let’s go by this standard suggestion our friends always give us i.e. to let go. The interesting thing about humans is we easily forget if someone does good things for us but someone hurt us knowingly or unknowingly we remember it as a formula we mugged in school. Okay, let’s go with an example and try to let things go. Suppose you have a very good friend. You have been together since school days. Everybody comes up to you and keep on asking if you are brothers. Now one day, you get to know that all your secrets are not secrets anymore but the whole college knows about it and it was only your best friend who knew about it. What will you do? You will go and confront him, have a fight and break all the contacts with him. But do we really end it here? No. We don’t. We keep this thing always in our head and let it bother us. One thing is for sure, that you got a lesson to stay away from such people. Then why do we let them occupy our precious headspace? This happens because we don’t let go. Here you give your brain food to eat 24/7. Now try forgiving them. Tell your mind that it might be some bad situation which made them do that but it’s okay. Though they hurt you enough that you never want to talk to them again, then don’t ever talk. It is completely okay. But let yourself set free from the grudge. It is important for your peace. Even if you’ve hurt someone in past and it bothers you every day, forgive yourself. You cannot undo things happened in past, then why to carry the heavy baggage of grudge or guilt for a long time. Let it go. Move on. Forgive yourself or someone if needed. Trust me, you will definitely feel free and relaxed if you set yourself free from the negative ropes you created. Set your mind free. Don’t let it sweep away your peace. Take your mind in control. Be the ruler of your thoughts, don’t let it rule you!…

PROCRASTINATION- THE INNER DEMON.

Procrastination is the act of casually delaying decisions or activities. For example, if you need to complete a project, completely end up spending time on the internet even you remember you should be working, that indicates that you’re procrastinating. Procrastination is often pernicious to people’s capacity to triumphantly achieve their goals. Procrastination normally means disregarding an unpleasant, yet likely more significant task, in the inclination of one that is more delightful or more manageable. Etymologically, “procrastination” is derived from the Latin verb procrastinate — to put off until tomorrow. People usually believe that procrastination is solely a topic of the willpower, yet in certainty, the condition is far more complicated than that.

When challenged with a choice to perform or a responsibility to complete, we ordinarily rely on our stability in order to force ourselves to accept tasks fulfilled. Moreover, our impulse, which is based on the expectation of achieving some award for our struggles, can increase our self-control, and get it more possible that we will get everything done appropriately. However, there are also various demotivating circumstances that we can endure, which have an adverse impact than our urge, signifying that they make us more inclined to procrastinate. For example, stress, fear of failure, and other invalidating troubles can cause us to dawdle carelessly. Procrastinators oftentimes put off preparing things, drop them to the extremely end moment, or seldom also waste their time gazing at the wall. Nonetheless, be mindful, procrastination is not a metonym for flagging. It’s a great plan to begin applying the term procrastination rather than applying the word’s negligence or setting something off. It gives a much more precise representation of your state. Simply addressing the correct title to your dilemma, then you start working on it.

How to stop procrastinating? Focus on performing, not withdrawing. Pen down the duties that you require to finish, and specify a time for performing them Switch off your email and social media, and withdraw lying anywhere near a television while you work. The personal concept is one important aspect, it helps you recognize your abilities and priorities, and by building one, you will nevermore think failed in what is it that you desire to do with your life. There are various apps created to assist you to be extra established, use that. If you accomplish a tough assignment on time, reward yourself with a gift. Acquiring new ways is one of the essential details of individual improvement. If we form a manner of creating something, its implementation needs more limited rational energy to do it. Acquiring new practices is, hence, quite significant. So overcome your procrastination to reach greater heights of success.

It’s okay to be not okay sometimes!…

I was scrolling on my Instagram page and I received a message from a follower. He was a complete stranger to me. He started with a hi and then asked how are you. I straight out bashed him saying why are you asking me this. I don’t even know you. I shouted at him for no reason. Later I felt bad myself and apologised him. This continued with me all day long. Whenever my friend or family tries to talk with me, I was just shouting on them. Later my girl asked me what happened to me. But I replied with nothing. She kept on asking me again and again and it ended up I shouting and fighting with her. Later I went to my room, locked myself and I started crying. I didn’t even know why I was feeling so frustrated but I was feeling very low.
Have you guys ever felt like that? I bet most of you must’ve gone through this. As a human, there are always plenty of thoughts wandering in our mind. It might be positive or negative. But our brain keeps on doing its job of thinking and thus feelings like happiness or sadness grow in us. Sometimes so many things are going on in the back of our mind and the funny thing is we don’t even realise how they are affecting our regular emotions. It’s the time when we feel low without any reason. We keep on searching for a reason but fail to find one. This thing makes us more frustrated and then we shout and fight with our closed ones for no reason. Even we feel that we are doing wrong but our brain doesn’t help us in this.
So what to do in such case? Just give yourself some time. Sit back and relax. Now there and many techniques we can apply to get out of it. It’s up to you which applies to you and which not. We should go and sit in a silent and peaceful place. Some might find an isolated room and meditate there. Mediation could be the key 9 out of 10 times. Whenever we feel like surrounded by negatives thoughts, just meditate. You may not find any good results at first but if we continue it for long, we’ll definitely find good results. Another thing we can do is do what you love to do the most. Yes, I’m talking about your hobbies. Hobbies are one of the best stressbusters. Make time for your hobbies in such case. Draw a sketch, sing a song, write a poem, dance on your favourite song. Do whatever which will help you burst your stress. Another thing we can do is talk to kids. It’s my personal favourite. Kids are simply the angels sent by god. Talk to them, play with them. You won’t remember you were sad after a few minutes.
Actually we humans have so many emotions such as anger, love, hate, smiles, fear and many more. Usually, our mind forgets good things easily. But bad memories are preserved by it. These bad memories or the moments where we got hurt by our loved ones keep on playing in the back of our mind. This finally leads to the feeling of not feeling okay. Give it back to them at the only moment. If you’re angry with someone, go fight them, do whatever but sort it out. If somebody hurts you badly, go tell them. Tell them what they mean to you and how they hurt you. If you’ve some bad memories with someone in the past or you feel guilty, just forgive yourself and let it go. It’s the fact that we cannot undo things that happened in the past, maybe good or bad. Then, why do we need to carry the baggage for our life? Let it go. Don’t let things bothering you occupy your headspace. Make space for things which helps you grow, which will keep you happy and maintain peace. But we keep on searching for the cause and get only frustration in return. But if we divert ourselves with the above measures, we can be back to the actual okay state.

MENTAL HEALTH SHOULD BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.

So whenever we feel like oh! I need to maintain my physical fitness, get a new fit look. The first solution that comes into our mind is, I should hit the gym, but have we ever thought about how to maintain our mental health? Mostly the answer will be no. What’s the big deal about it and many people presume that the person is just overthinking. Practically speaking often if we’ll tell our Indian parents that we are depressed they’ll just ask us to stay away from electronic devices which is partly true and then they will just ignore it. Looking after mental wellness can preserve a person’s ability to enjoy life. Although the word mental health is generally used, many conditions that specialists acknowledge as psychological troubles have physical reasons. Conditions such as depression, stress, substance abuse, anxiety, are certain forms of mental illness.

According to WHO “Mental health is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.” Certain factors that cause mental distress are weak social or economic status, occupation, education, gender, etc. that later turn into much more serious issues. Another instance is having a gene with ties to a mental health disorder, such as depression or schizophrenia, which does not guarantee that a condition will develop. As mental and physical health is interlinked these mental health issues can affect life-changing physical health problems, such as diabetes, cancer, chronic pain, etc.

Different types of mental disorders are Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(PTSD) which normally occurs to a person who experiences or witnesses a deeply stressful or traumatic event. They are under constant fear that their life is in danger. Mood Disorders such as Major Depression in which a person deals with a constant low mood and loses interest in activities and events that they previously enjoyed. They can feel the increased duration of sorrow or intense grief and Bipolar Disorder person experiences extreme variations in their mood, force levels, levels of activity, and capacity to proceed with daily life.  Schizophrenia in which the person may also find it hard to process information, withdrawal, delusions, hallucinations, absence of motivation, etc. Panic disorders in which an individual experiences frequent panic seizures, which involve overwhelming terror or a feeling of looming tragedy and death. Anxiety disorder in which an individual is excessively worried or in constant fear and symptoms of anxiety are restlessness, exhaustion, stiff muscle, interrupted sleep, etc.

In today’s era where people are busy with their packed schedules and don’t have time for themselves. Pollution and radiation from electronics are added reason which causes mental agony. Visiting a Psychologist is necessary and there is nothing to be ashamed of it. A person coping with mental health challenges will have to make changes to their lifestyle. Such changes might include no alcohol intake, relaxing more, and having a well-balanced, nutritious diet. Taking some time away from things or matter that is making a person feel low. Practicing relaxation techniques, meditation, yoga. Having a support network, either through self-help groups or close friends and parents, can also be vital to the cure of mental illness.

FREUDIAN PERSONALITY ANALYSIS

Human Personality is a complex combination of wide ranging emotions and traits. The development of human being is lifelong and hence personality development too is lifelong. Thus the personality of human beings is neither static nor simple to understand.Various Psychologists have come up with their own theories to explain Personalities ranging from Humanistic to Cognitive perspectives.

Sigmund Freud is considered as the father of psychology and he proposed the controversial Freudian Psychoanalytic Theory of personality. The analysis is accepted and criticized with the same fervour. So lets look deep into Freudian Personality Analysis.

According to Sigmund Freud, human personality is complex and has more than a single component. According to Freud,Childhood traumas play a major role in personality development. In his famous psychoanalytic theory, Freud states that personality is composed of three elements known as the id, the ego, and the superego. These elements work together to create complex human behaviors. Each component adds its own unique contribution to personality and the three interact in ways that have a powerful influence on an individual. Each element of personality emerges at different points in life.

1.ID:The id is driven by the pleasure principle, which strives for immediate gratification of all desires, wants, and needs. If these needs are not satisfied immediately, the result is a state anxiety or tension. For example, an increase in hunger should produce an immediate attempt to eat .It is the unconscious aspect of thinking.

2.EGO:The ego operates based on the reality principle, which strives to satisfy the id’s desires in realistic and socially appropriate ways. The reality principle weighs the costs and benefits of an action before deciding to act upon or abandon impulses. In many cases, the id’s impulses can be satisfied through a process of delayed gratification—the ego will eventually allow the behavior, but only in the appropriate time and place.

3.SUPEREGO:The superego has two parts: The conscience which includes information about things that are viewed as bad by parents and society. These behaviors are often forbidden and lead to bad consequences, punishments, or feelings of guilt and remorse And the Second Part,The Ego ideal which includes the rules and standards for behaviors that the ego aspires to.Basically The superego tries to perfect and civilize our behavior. It works to suppress all unacceptable urges of the id and struggles to make the ego act upon idealistic standards rather that upon realistic principles. The superego is present in the conscious, pre conscious, and unconscious.

So,According to Freud, the key to a healthy personality is a balance between the id, the ego, and the superego. If the ego is able to adequately moderate between the demands of reality, the id, and the superego, a healthy and well-adjusted personality emerges. Freud believed that an imbalance would lead to a maladaptive personality.

Freud basically studies the interaction between Id,Ego and Super Ego using five Psychosexual stages of development where in the individual’s personality develops in a particular stage only if there is a balance between the three elements. The Freudian Psychosexual Stages of Development are as follows:

  • Oral (0 – 2years of age): Fixation on all things oral. If not satisfactorily met there is the likelihood of developing negative oral habits or behaviors.
  • Anal (2 to 3 years of age): As indicated this stage is primarily related to developing healthy toilet training habits.
  • Phallic (3 – 5 year of age): The development of healthy substitutes for the sexual attraction boys and girls have toward a parent of the opposite gender.
  • Latency (5 – 12 years of age): The development of healthy dormant sexual feelings for the opposite sex.
  • Genital (12 – adulthood): All tasks from the previous four stages are integrated into the mind allowing for the onset of healthy sexual feelings and behaviors.

Thus due to the sexualization of Personality Theory,Freud was highly criticized. Some Neo Freudians like Erikson and Adler came up with new and more realistic personality theories. This does not apply to everyone. It is just one of the way of studying the personality of a human being.

Motivation:Cause of all actions

Why have i written this blog?why are you reading this blog? Why do you eat?Why do you love?

The answer to all of these actions is MOTIVATION!Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviors. It is what causes you to act, whether it is reading this article, getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge. So this blog will critically analyse the concept of motivation and help all of you to understand the reasons behind your actions. So lets get started!

Motivation describes the wants or needs that direct behavior toward a goal. It is an urge to behave or act in a way that will satisfy certain conditions, such as wishes, desires, or goals. Older theories of motivation stated that rational thought and reason were the guiding factors in human motivation; however, psychologists now believe that motivation may be rooted in basic impulses to optimize well-being, minimize physical pain, and maximize pleasure.

Motivation involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behavior. In everyday usage, the term “motivation” is frequently used to describe why a person does something. It is the driving force behind human actions.

So lets analyse the mechanism of motivation

Drives and motives

Motivations are commonly separated into drives and motives.

Drives are primarily biological, like thirst, hunger, sleepiness, and the need to reproduce—all of which lead us to seek out and take part in certain activities. Drives are believed to originate within a person and may not require external stimuli to encourage behavior.

Motives, on the other hand, are primarily driven by social and psychological mechanisms, such as work, family, and relationships. They include factors like praise and approval.

INtrinsic and extrinsic motivation

Motivation can be intrinsic (arising from internal factors) or extrinsic (arising from external factors).

Intrinsic:arise from within the individual, such as doing a complicated crossword puzzle purely for the personal gratification of solving a problem.

Extrinsic:arise from outside of the individual and often involve rewards such as trophies, money, social recognition, or praise.

In reality, our motivations are often a mix of both intrinsic and extrinsic factors, and the nature of the mix can change over time.Sometimes, intrinsic motivation can diminish when extrinsic motivation is given—a process known as the overjustification effect. This can lead to extinguishing the intrinsic motivation and creating a dependence on extrinsic rewards for continued performance.

Motivation v/s emotion

While motivation and emotion can be intricately linked, they are two fundamentally different things. Motivation describes the wants or needs that direct behavior toward a goal; in contrast, an emotion is a subjective state of being that we often describe as a feeling. Emotion and motivation are linked in several ways: both influence behavior and can lead us to take action, and emotion itself can act as a motivator.

The need to understand motivation

So at the end of this article, lets see what is the use of understanding the concept of motivation.Understanding motivation can:

  • Help improve the efficiency of people as they work toward goals
  • Help people take action
  • Encourage people to engage in health-oriented behaviors
  • Help people avoid unhealthy or maladaptive behaviors such as risk-taking and addiction
  • Help people feel more in control of their lives
  • Improve overall well-being and happiness
