Education in the present

Education is very important in every individual’s life as it is very important for the living. The person who is educated will be well treated by the society and will you have good potential wherever he or she goes. Education as the extra energy to the individual’s life and a moles the individuals character into a good one. It is very important to be educated as the competition in the world is comparatively very high.

Online classes are the greatest and the biggest task to all the students. It is so difficult for all the students to understand the topics in a detailed manner. Even though the students try their level best to understand the topics during the online class, it is only the 50% of learning but the topics are not understood properly but the students and face lots of difficulties.

It is also equal difficult to conduct exams to all mine because it’s exams are connected through online then there is a chance formal practices. Basically, students commit malpractices during exams in a view to get good marks but not about the knowledge. So,many of the students commit malpractices.

Ways to improve the education system

* skill – based learning :

As of now , the education system is such that everyone is forced to study science and math. If this system can be revamped to identify the strengths of a student, then they can be given appropriate training in the chosen field. This will ensure that the child shines in that particular field.

* Rural Education :

As the sad thing about the Indian education system is the fact that its focus is only on urban clusters. There are hardly any decent centres of learning in the rural areas. This is especially true in terms of higher education. If a country has to actually develop, urban and rural development have to go hand in hand.

* Gender Neutral Education :

The education system has always favoured men over the fairer sex. The major change that must be brought about is to involve women in the same. Particularly subjects that are now considered to be the strength of men alone ( like carpentry, engineering, etc). Should be made more accessible to women. Pioneer women in these fileds should be given due encouragement and appreciation.

* Teacher Training :

India has a very good quality of dedicated teachers. However, the sad fact here is the fact that after they join this service, they receive little or no training. In such a situation, giving them periodic training will not just ensure that they are updated with the changing times, but will also improve the entire education scene of the country by leaps and bounds.

* Infrastructure :

As in every other sector, the indian education sector is one that suffers from the acute death of infrastructure. Most of the government schools do not even have proper chairs, tables, restrooms, let alone a playground, libraries and laboratories. Thus ,the first step in revamping the education scene in the country should begin with improving the infrastructure so that the students are given an evironment where they can learn to the best of their abilities.

* subsidising professional courses :

It is a sad reality that many meritorious students are not able to afford professional corses because of the sheer expense involved in the same. This is all the way truer in case of students from the general category who do not have access to many scholarships. In such a situation subsidising the cost professional education will ensure that the same is within the reach of deserving students from the lower and lower middle class strata of the Indian society.

* Basic computing In Rural Areas :

On one hand , India is a land of IT giants; on the other, rural India is completely digitally ill- equipped, in a sitiation like this, the first change that the education system must bring forward is to start free computing classes for skill development in rural areas. Only then will rural Indian move in the same pace as that of the urban Digital India and the country embark on the journey of development.

* Make sports compulsory :

One of the main reasons for the alarming rise in suicide amongst students in the country is the fact that they cannot handle stress. That in turn is because they are subjected to too much mental pressure. By making sports compusory it can be ensured that all the students indulge in some sort of some physical activity. This will lead to their mind performance better and enable them to grasp their theory lessons well.

* Educate parents :

Most of the times it is seen that the children’s woes centre atound that of their parents. In the Indian scenerio, parents are the ones who force their wards into a career they do not like. As a result students do not excel and upon failing to meet their parents expectations, they suffer from a number of mental health issues. To prevent such a thing from happening, the first step that must be taken is to educate the parents about the different carrer options that are available to the students and the possible scope of future in them.

* Remove The Reservation system :

The reservation system in India has been so obsessed with providing the best of opportunities to the reserved that it misses out on many opportunities for the ones who actually deserve the same. This results in not just personal loss for certain people but also brain drain for the entire country and fosters a massive loss to the nation’s economy.

Today’s education system may be good to score marks, but fails to retain the knowledge once students have completed their examinations. This leads to young minds being stifled at an age when they should be asking questions, learning and gaining knowledge, and developing a thirst for more knowledge.

THE WATER ACT 1974

The water  act was enacted by parliament act, 1974 purpose to provide for the prevention of control of water & the maintaining or restoring of wholesomeness of water. As on day, it is applicable in all the states of India. It extends to the whole of India except the State of Jammu & Kashmir. This Act having 64 sections Divided into 8 chapters.

OBJECTIVES

  • Prevention  &  control of water pollution
  • Maintaining or restoring the wholesomeness of water
  • Establishment of board for prevention & control of water pollution.
  • An act to provide for the levy & collection of access on water consumed by persons carrying on certain industries & by local authorities.

Constitution of central Board

  • Chapter   3 deals with Constitution of central Board
  • The terms & conditions of the services of the members, disqualification, holding of board meetings & other committees.
  • Members- Chairperson- Environment expert
  • Officials not exceeding 5- nominated by Central Government
  • Representative not exceeding 3- Agricultural, fishery, industry etc.

Functions of Central Board

The central board may establish or recognize a laboratory or laboratories to enable the Central Board to perform its functions under this section efficiently. Central Board may- Delegate any of its functions under this act generally or specially to any of the committees appointed by it. Do such other things & perform such other  acts as it  may think necessary for the proper discharge of its functions & generally for the purpose of carrying into effect the purposes of this act.

Powers & Functions of Central Board

  • Advice to central government for prevention & control of water pollution.
  • Co-ordinate the activities of the state board & resolve disputes
  • Provide technical assistance
  • Plan & organize the training.
  • Collect, compile & publish technical data
  • Lay down the standards for a stream or well
  • Establish laboratories.
  • Plan & organize nation wide program for prevention & control of water pollution
  • Plan comprehensive program for prevention & control of water pollution.
  • Advice to State government
  • Encourage, conduct & participate in investigations & research relating to problems of water pollution & prevention.
  • Inspect sewage or trade effluents, works & plants for treatment.
  • Lay down, modify or annual effluent standards for the sewage & effluents.
  • Evolve economical & reliable methods of treatment for local conditions.

Prevention & Control of water pollution

  • Powers of entry and inspection
  • Power to take sample and procedure
  • Report preparation in triplicate.
  • Use of well or stream for disposal is prohibited.
  • Accidents in area, information should be carry to state board.
  • Have powers to close, prohibit, regulate any industrial operation.

Penalties

Person held guilty he is punishable with imprisonment which may extend to three months or fine up to 10000 rs. Or both. Any person disposes any polluting matter into any stream or well he is punishable for 6 years with fine.

Gender equality

Gender equality can often be achieved just by holding everyone to the same standard. The problem, as highlighted by the evidence reviewed above, is the irrational gender bias that women and girls are routinely subjected to.

Objective of gender equality is a society in which women and men enjoy the same opportunities, rights and obligations in all spheres of life.

Here are some of the steps to achieve gender equality in our life:

1.Stop child marriage: If we want girls to complete education we have to end child marriage.

2.Empower mothers: When mothers are educated and empowered to make choices in their lives, they enable their daughters to go to school.

3.Work together: Between 1999 and 2010, the ratio of girls in secondary school fell from 83 to 82 girls for every 100 boys at the secondary level from 67 to 63 girls for every 100 boys at the tertiary level.

4.Encourage women into non-traditional vocations: To make the long-lasting change in women’s life, support women in non-traditional jobs.

5.Raise aspirations of girls and their parents: We need to give girls images and role models that expand their

dreams.

6.Give proper value to women’s work: The unpaid work women and girls do provide the foundation for the global economy.

7.Get women into power: A proven way to overcome many systematic barriers to a women’s success has been increased participation by women in local, regional and national legislation as empowered change agents.

8.Let girls use mobile phones: The majority of girls do not have access to using basic technology such as mobile phones and computers because of infrastructure related challenges and economic reasons.

9.Talk to women and girls: Gender equality in every realm is that women and girls voices are too often excluded from global and national decision making.

Fashion industry is the colorful industry which encompasses various types of small and niche industries in it. Fashion industry is the industry of art and which changes itself very fast according to the demand. For sure only a designer knows how much stress he has undergone to put forward a beautiful set of garments, as a next step of designing the designer must select materials for the garment which includes a stressful roaming on streets for few days & once the material is sourced it is important to communicate clearly to workers in making them understand these designs , dealing with illiterate artisans like dyers for dyeing the fabrics ,Masters for cutting, embroidery workers, Tailors ,and all this could be scrapped at any point and redone, now Marketing- this part involves photographing the garments with celebrity & conducting fashion shows to attract clients and then posting these photos in social media, finally when clients arrive with tight deadlines some even ask for hours & days , running with materials behind all those workers and delivering the garment to clients and if any measurement or miscommunication with workers would lead to failures and clients harsh words and money time and material wastes and redo all this again.

The above written para is just a simple example to show how hard to be as a fashion designer. Fashion institutes must share this knowledge to every student well in advance while joining in courses and they must also share the different career paths in fashion industry. The effects of video games on a child’s behaviour

Video gaming has become a popular activity for people of all ages. Sonu Sood, the name which has ruled during the pandemic and took the internet by storm. A small-town guy hailing from Moga, Punjab who believed in his hard work and had no godfather he took a leap of faith and entered the film industry. Over the years, he has been known for his acting and his fitness regime little did the world know that he would be given a title of a “Messiah” and will be conferred with Special Humanitarian award by United Nations Development programme (UNDP) for his philanthropic contributions during the coronavirus.

The engineer turned actor who has worked in a number of regional films has won Andhra Pradesh Nandi Award for the best villain and Filmfare award back in 2009. In the year 2010, he got Apsara Award for the best negative role for his movie Dabangg. In 2016, he fulfilled his dream of establishing his own production house called “Shakti Sagar Productions” which is named after his father.

 In the past year, when the world was in lockdown, he did the most heroic act being in a global pandemic. Initially he used to distribute food among the under-privileged until a wage worker asked him to pack food for him for seven to eight days as he had to walk all they way to his hometown with his kids and pregnant wife. The actor asked the worker to give him two days. After a few weeks, he was all over the news and became an overnight sensation for his humanitarian service.

He had lent his hands to nearly thousands of families of migrant workers, this popular initiative was known as #gharbhejo with his friend Neeti Goel. Initially he used to have granted help to thousands of people to return to their home states. He had arranged buses and trains for their travel and also provided them with financial support. As the medical staff members of hospitals had to deal with corona patients on a daily basis many used to live far away from their homes and hometowns, He took a charge to open his Juhu Hotel in Mumbai for them to stay which was free of cost. The pandemic had led to most industries and businesses, shutting down which resulted to unemployment and food insecurities. But the most affected people were the ones working in informal sector they were struggling to obtain three meals per day, the actor took this into consideration and launched Shakti Annadaman, keeping an objective of feeding over 45,000 every day in Mumbai. The lockdown also made it difficult to commute to their hometowns and many took a decision to set their journeys on foot, some attempted to walk over 1,100 kilometers in the hope of reaching to a safer place, Sonu Sood has been a migrant himself and he could empathize with the people not being able to return to their families and homes, he began to coordinate with Maharashtra and Karnataka Governments to arrange busses for them.

On his 47th birthday, he created an app called “Pravasi Rojgar” to provide opportunities for employment to many workers who have lost their daily source of bread and butter.  The idea was to built an app which aimed at connecting the job searchers to people who provide jobs, companies like Amazon, Trident, Sodexo, Portea and Urban co. are a few of them. The frontline workers who are the police and doctors have been given 1,500 PPE kits to paramedics across the state of Punjab and the foundation has donated over 25,000 face shields Mumbai Police.

Most of the teenagers consume junk food instead of eating the healthy food that is the fruits and vegetables. The junk food contain some preservatives in it and they’re also rich in fats and carbohydrates which are not so good. Doing a mistake is acceptable but doing the mistake even after knowing the truth is a bad one. At the initial days we all think that college lecturers are too strict and we have to be careful with them but as the days pass away we came to know that even our lecturers also be friendly with us and they help us a lot in every moment of college life. The most important candidates in our college life is our friends with whom we do a lot of crazy things and the enjoyment with friends will be at next level in hostel rooms, Yes our hostel roommates will become a next family to us with whom we can share all our things.

The most excited and scary event that happens at the beginning of our college days is “FRESHER’S DAY” where we all see our seniors as like most dangerous people on the world and fear about the ragging but our thoughts will be changed totally when we talk with seniors in a friendly manner and also they are the one who will be as a back bone to all of us in entire our college days but sometimes whatever we think may turn into wrong also.

Whatever the situation may be, we always be ready to face that situation especially in the case of examinations. The preparation strategies will differ from person to person but once after completing our graduation we will definitely laugh by memorizing all those days. The most interesting part in college life is college fest, tours and interacting with diversified people which helps us to develop the spirit of unity, personality and brotherhood.

At last I can say that college life is the beautiful blend of joys and memories. On the whole, everyday that we spent in our college is loaded with some colourful events such as special breaks, bunks and sports. Supervised learning

It is machine learning task of at function that maps an input to on output based on example input-output pair. Basically Supervised learning is learning in which We teach or train the machine using data which is well labelled that means Some data is already tagged with correct answer. We pass data, train it and predict output.

Example 1 – House price prediction : In this data set can be given a which contain locality, size of house, age, no. of rooms, price at which it sell. In this are example locality, size of house are independent variables from which we can we predict house price. In this we can take prices of other houses to train our data. We take real prices map them and can predict price.

Example 2 – If we have different kinds of Fruits. To train the machine with all different Fruits one by one like shape of fruit, colour. Since machine has already learned from previous data this time it will classify fruit with its colour and shape and give output.

Unsupervised learning:

It is the training of machine using information that is neither classified nor labeled and allowing the algorithm to act on that without guidance. In this past data is pointless and we need to club similar data together. There is no way to measure similarity before we run the program. It is less accurate.

Example 1 – Google news : In google news, clustering where they use to club similar types of news together. They find some keywords, club similar news and show it on feed.

Example 2 – Feature selection : Assume that we want to predict how capable an applicant is of repaying a loan from the perspective of a bank now, we need to help the bank set up machine learning system so that each loan given to applicant who can repay the loan. So by gathering the Information about applicants average monthly income, debt credit & history we can predict this

Reinforcement learning

It means to establish & encourage a pattern of behavior. It is area of machine learning concerned with how software agent ought to take actions in an environment in order to maximize the notion of cumulative reward.

Example 1 – Chess game : In chess game there are different types of pieces which can move differently. The next move will depend om opponent move or your previous. It is trial and error and decision is dependent.

Example 2 – Web system configuration : there are so many parameters in web system and the process of tuning the parameters requires a skilled operator. This can be automated by using reinforcement machine learning technique to learn from different trial & error phases.
