Salt is a mineral composed primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound belonging to the larger class of salts; salt in the form of a natural crystalline mineral is known as rock salt or halite Salt is present in vast quantities in seawater.
- Saltiness is one of the five basic human tastes in addition to sweetness, sourness, bitterness, and umami (a savory, meaty taste, such as that of cooked mushrooms, cheese, or soy sauce). As salt dissolves in a solution or on food, it breaks into its component ions: sodium and chloride (Na+ and Cl–, respectively). The salty flavor primarily comes from the sodium ions.
- Salt plays a crucial role in maintaining human health. It is the main source of sodium and chloride ions in the 𝑯𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑵 𝑫𝑰𝑬𝑻. Sodium is essential for nerve and muscle function and is involved in the regulation of fluids in the body. Sodium also plays a role in the “body’s control of blood pressure and volume”. Although sodium is essential, people who consume too much sodium may have hypertension or high blood pressure, a condition that can lead to serious illnesses such as heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke.
- Chloride ions serve as important electrolytes by regulating blood pH and pressure. Electrolytes are compounds, often salts, which dissociate into their ionic components in solvents like water. Chloride is also a crucial component in the production of stomach acid (HCl). Humans excrete salt when sweating and must replenish these lost sodium and chloride ions through their diet.
- All animals require some salt to survive. Humans consume foods that naturally contain salt (e.g., meat and seafood) or add salt as a seasoning. However, some terrestrial animals have diets deficient in salt. These animals must seek supplemental salt sources. Farm animals such as horses and cattle require access to salt blocks Wild mammals and birds are known to aggregate at natural mineral deposits known as 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 where they can ingest the essential sodium and chloride minerals they need to servive.
- Salt is a good preservative that retards the growth of micro-organisms to make food storage possible for a long period of timie before refrigeration.
Universal Design
Universal design is the approach of designing products and environment so that it can be used by broad number people irrespective of age, disability, ability, status in life and various other factors.
Usually, products are designed to be suitable for average users whereas products designed under the principle of universal design try to be suitable for the maximum number of users. The purpose of universal design is not to create a design that can work for 100 percent of the people because it is almost impossible to have a ‘One size fits all’ design. The purpose is to create a design that can serve solutions that are more inclusive. Designers have to look at those designs that push the boundaries as far out as possible without compromising the quality and integrity of the product.
There are many instances where a designer will have to choose between different designs and determine the more suitable design according to UD principles. For instance, if there is a choice to choose between a lever-design handle and a knob-design handle. It is preferable to choose the former rather than the latter as the lever design can accommodate more people’s daily usage. The lever design feature will be a more inclusive element compared to the latter. It can accommodate various usages like opening the door with closed fists or the elbow or so that a person can easily access the door while carrying something as well as people with finite strength.
There are briefly 7 Principles of Universal Design. These were developed in 1997 by a team of architects, designers, engineers, and environmental design researchers. The team was led by the late Ronald Mace who was an internationally recognized American Architect and designer in North Carolina State University.
The seven principles are:
- Equitable use
While designing, the product should be kept in mind that it should be accessible by every person including disabled people.
- Flexibility in use
The design needs to be configurable to accommodate everyone’s preferences, needs, and abilities.
- Simple and intuitive
This means that the design should be easy to understand for everybody. The person can easily figure out a well-designed product or an environment without thinking too much about it.
- Perceptible information
The design can communicate all of its necessary information to everybody irrespective of the environmental conditions or the user’s sensory abilities.
- Tolerance for error
It refers to safety so that the design minimizes hazards, accidents or unintended actions.
- Low physical effort
The design in use needs to be comfortable and efficient rather than being exhausting and fatiguing to use.
- Size and space for approach and use
The design irrespective of user’s body size, posture, or mobility should not restrict anybody by its size or space.
Universal design can really make the lives of people much more comfortable, safer, and efficient in the long run. There are still many areas that are not designed well and poorly designed products, buildings or the environment can be a safety hazard as well. It is usually the job of a universal designer to design new products from the ground up and many also renovate existing designs to make them more accommodative and accessible.

Why is WASTE a hazardous problem in India
Urban India generates 62 million tones of municipal solid waste annually of which 43 million is collected by the authorities assigned workers or vehicles. Out of this 43 million tones of waste collected, 39 million tones is dumped in the open sanitary landfills, the most convenient and oldest form of waste disposal which is a total disaster in recent times and only 12 million tones of waste is treated. The municipal waste dumped on the open stretches of land , contains all kinds of wastes- degradable, non degradable and hazardous domestic waste. The ragpickers in India act as an important source of segregation segregating the plastic and metals from the waste which is then sent to factories for recycling but the problem doesn’t get solve here.

In a population of billions , it is not possible for segregation to be done manually everywhere which leads to the mixture of the non degradable harmful materials with the biodegradable ones. Also, plastic poly bags, pose a great danger for animals as there have been more than one incident where cows or street dogs are found to have swallowed the plastic bags while loitering in the waste to find food.
There are other waste disposal methods also like Incineration and Composting. In Incineration, the waste is combusted at high pressure and heat to convert it into ash, heat and gases. The method was used since ages to get rid of hazardous bio medical waste but this process releases pollutants like particulate matter, metals, acid gases, oxides of nitrogen, and sulphur, aside from the release of innumerable substances of unknown toxicity which causes respiratory ailments. Though the proper treatment of the gases before releasing them into air is mandatory but due to the lack of resources and scientific technology , the gas is released untreated , hence causing severe damages to the environment.
Composting method is used for the bio degradable domestic waste like vegetable peels, papers, waste plants etc. These wastes are then left to decompose using the natural process and the residue serves as an excellent manure. This is the best waste treatment which can be used at homes also. However, the poor segregation of waste does not allow the success of this process.
Reasons for poor segregation
In India , all though most of the places provide door to door garbage collection facility which is collected in tri cycles or hand carts at many places and the lack of knowledge on people’s part does not let them segregate the waste. People consider the segregation of waste into degradable and non degradable items as a time consuming process. Moreover, in urban cities, where the municipalities offer garbage vans with separate columns for degradable and non degradable wastes, has not proved to be beneficial as people dump all types of wastes together.

After the launch of Swacch Bharat Abhiyan by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Mr. Narender Modi on October 2nd, 2014,green and blue dustbins for degradable and bio degradable wastes are put almost in every locality. However, the tardiness and laziness of people doesn’t allow them to use it in an effective way.
The waste dumped on open stretches of land or on road side is not only a sore to the eye but also is responsible for the contamination of environment in more than one ways.
Hazardous effect of waste disposal system famous in India on the environment
- SOIL CONTAMINATION– The disposal of collective waste collected from houses includes hazardous and non bio degradable waste also which does not blend in soil easily and the long exposure to the atmosphere leads to the discharge of harmful chemicals which blends with the soil , hence polluting it. For example, when plastic bottles are dumped in open, they release DEHA, a carcinogen that affects our reproduction systems, causes liver dysfunction, and weight loss. Soil contamination does not only affect plant growth, it is also unhealthy to humans and animals feeding on those plants.
- WATER CONTAMINATION– The chemicals from the disposed waste seeps into the ground water through the soil, hence polluting groundwater table which is used for many purposes from houses to farms to the factories.
- AIR CONTAMINATION – The plastic and other wastes which is burnt by the ragpickers for gaining warmth during winters or to clear the dumping ground, produces gases which are responsible for ozone depletion. Also, the accumulation of excessive rotten material at a place leads to the production of landfill gases which again harms the humans inhabiting the nearby areas.
- HARMFUL FOR HUMANS AND ANIMALS AND GIVE RISE TO INSECT BORNE DISEASES ALSO- As mentioned in the above points, the dumped waste causes severe health hazards to humans as well as animals. Also, the dirty landfills becomes a breeding ground for mosquitoes and house fly who transmits the dirt they pick up from there to the domestic houses they visit. Mosquitoes breed in cans and tires that collect water, and can carry diseases such as malaria and dengue. Rats find food and shelter in landfills and sewage, and they can carry diseases such as leptospirosis and salmonellosis.
- EXTREME CLIMATE CHANGES– Decomposing waste emits gases that rise to the atmosphere and trap heat. Greenhouse gases are one of the major culprits behind the extreme weather changes that the world is experiencing. From extremely strong storms and typhoons to smouldering heat, people are experiencing and suffering the negative effects of greenhouse gases.
These all factors are leading to slow death of our planet.
Change starts from ourselves. The pragmatic approach of the three R’s- REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE which we once learnt in the school is needy during these times.
All Addictions are Dangerous
Whenever the word ‘addiction’ pops up, people often connect it immediately to drugs, smoking or alcohol and deny to think further more. But getting used to anything beyond a limit, be it a coffee, food or shopping is an addiction and is equally dangerous.
While some of these addictions might appear more harmless on the surface, but in reality all of them limit your life in some way or the other. It’s important to try and quit if you recognize that a habit is taking over your life.

First, start by acknowledging the problem and then believe in yourself that with proper work you can overcome this problem. I am not telling that this would be easy, but surely it would be worth the effort. Take it day at a time. It can be intimidating in the start, but take baby steps to reach goal and don’t quit.
One day at a time….
Be optimistic, reach the root of the problem and take some time to truly understand where this habit comes from and how it is ruining your life and health. Sometimes contemplating on your mistakes can help you get rid of them once and for all.
Stay committed and do not leave mid-way. I promise you that your transformation will help you live a much more enriching, creative, free and empowering life.
ANIMAL LOVERS

“Animals are a window to your soul and a doorway to your spiritual destiny. If you let them into your life and allow them to teach you, you will be better for it.”― Kim Shotola, The Soul Watchers: Animals’ Quest to Awaken Humanity
God’s creations
“Wherever there are wild animals in the world, there is always an opportunity for caring, compassion and kindness.”― Paul Oxton
Animals are the creations of God. They are as much important in the scheme of things as men. Animals, nature and man constitute the ecology. Harm to any of these means the disturbance of the ecological balance. Moreover, as God’s best creation, man has the responsibility to look after the welfare of the animals, which undoubtedly look forward to man for protection and survival. If man fails to do this duty it would be a moral crime on his part.
Respect to Almighty
“love about any animal or bird is pure because in that love u dont expect anything from them”― Kedar dhepe
Love of animals is the love of God. It is wrong to do harm to the animals, to beat them and kill them. Animals are generally good. They do not harm anybody unless they are harmed. They kill others for necessity and sport. Even ferocious animals like tigers and snakes do not injure or kill anybody unless they are attacked. Love of animals is an essential part of human nature. The domestic animals like cows, dogs, cats serve us faithfully. Small animals are dumb and meek. They depend on us. So, it is wrong to oppress and kill them. It is our moral duty to love them and keep them in their own places If we love them, they will love us and thus a natural bond will be established.
Love to nature
“The way you treat the animals around you will be the nature of the animal within you”
― Sir P.S. Jagadeesh Kumar
Animals like tigers, lions, deer end many others are part and parcel of Nature. They provide beauty and harmony to Nature. Reckless destruction of these animals is as bad as rash demolition of forests. Preservation of wild animals is a duty for all. They maintain the balance in nature. Moreover, they are a big attraction to the children, men and foreigners. We like to see the variety of God’s creations. It is also our duty to preserve them.

COMPUTER PROCESSORS
- Solaris sparc(32-bit): – Intel has given a name to their solar-powered CPU, which was originally shown at IDF 2011 a few days ago. The CPU, codenamed Claremont, is based on an outdated Socket 7 Pentium design but has been tweaked to consume less than 10mW at peak power. Currently, ultra-low voltage CPUs require 15W or more, which is about 1,500 times as much power.
- AVR – It is a microcontroller family created by Atmel in 1996. These are modified Harvard architecture 8-bit RISC single-chip microcontrollers. The pin size varies depending on the AVR, for example, tiny AVR has 9-32 pins, mega AVR has 28-100 pins, and so on.
- MIPS- It is a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) instruction set architecture (ISA) created in the United States by MIPS Computer Systems, now MIPS Technologies. MIPS architectures were initially 32-bit; 64-bit variants were later created. It comes in a variety of variants, including MIPS I, MIPS II, MIPS III, and so on.
- Intel 8086: – The 8086 (also known as the iAPX 86) is a 16-bit microprocessor chip created by Intel between early 1976 and its introduction on June 8, 1978. The 8086 architectures gave birth to the x86 architecture, which went on to become Intel’s most successful processor series. It is offered as a DIP chip with 40 pins. It operates on a 5V DC power supply.
- ARM- It is a series of reduced instruction set computing (RISC) architectures for computer processors that may be customized for different situations. The original ARM1 featured a 32-bit internal structure but a 26-bit address space, limiting its main memory to 64 MB. This restriction was lifted with the ARMv3 series, which has a 32-bit address space, and numerous subsequent generations up to ARMv7 stayed 32-bit. It features about 32 pins, 28 of which may be utilized as general purpose bidirectional I/O pins. Pin P0. 31 is a single-output pin.
- AMD- Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is a global semiconductor firm headquartered in Santa Clara, California, that produces computer processors and related technologies for the commercial and consumer sectors. AMD unveils its Opteron and Athlon 64 processor lines, which are based on the AMD64 architecture, the first x86-based 64-bit CPU architecture.
STOCK MARKET IS A GAMBLING ??
Majority of population in India thinks that stock market is a gambling like casino. To be honest that’s not the reality.
Being in the stock market field for 1 year , I have realized that stock market is a far bigger concept that what normal people think it is. Even if you blindly invest in stocks of any company you are still speculatively investing and not gambling! The simple reason is that there is a sort of ownership here.
Investing in stocks involves careful analysis of company’s performance and future forecast. So as to own a handful of shares for some period of time, to claim trust on the products of the company, further gearing the economy.
as said by WILSON MIZNER : Gambling is the sure way of getting nothing from something.
When you gamble , you get to own nothing. You play with the available probabilities and are run by emotions or gut to chase a win.
Hence from this blog I just want to convey a message to all the readers that Investing in stocks is a gambling is a MYTH !!
Amazon CEO and other returns from their space voyage
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos returned to earth after his maiden space voyage. Mark Bezos, Wally Funk and Oliver Daemen were his other co-passengers in this journey. He spent total of 10 minutes in space. He went there on Blue Origin’s New Shepard spacecraft from its Launch Site One located in the West Texas desert (United States).
Happy, happy, happy!,You have a very happy crew up here!
Jeff Bezos said in space
For the first time in the history a commercial company launched a privately funded and built spacecraft from a private launch range with astronauts on board.
Congratulations to all of Team Blue past and present on reaching this historic moment in spaceflight history. This first astronaut crew wrote themselves into the history books of space, opening the door through which many after will pass
Blue origin released this statement after safely return of the passengers on earth.
Private companies are competing in space travels and explorations, let’s hope this competition may result in affordable space travel ,well within reach of common man. Space travel is still dream of many people.
Danish Siddiqui: A photojournalist who lost his life in Afghanistan
“While I enjoy covering news stories – from business to politics to sports – what I enjoy most is capturing the human face of a breaking story.”

Danish Siddiqui was born on 19th May 1983 back in New Delhi and then went on to pursue his post-graduation in Mass Communication at A.J.K. Mass Communication Research Centre at Jamia. He was married to Rike(german nationalist) and had two children.
He had covered a plethora of stories and events after joining Reuters in 2010. Some of his exemplary work include the Battle of Mosul, the Rohingya Refugee Crisis and the Delhi riots of 2020. Not to forget the ‘one picture’ that shook the entire world of the mass cremation in India. His work had life and meaning in them. And to a great extent, this was what he had hoped for.
“I shoot for the common man who wants to see and feel a story from a place where he can’t be present himself.”
His heart and mind were always set on his mission and thus helped him achieve his objective.
He served as an embedded journalist with Afghan Special Forces to document the Taliban offensive in 2021. This was supposedly his last mission as he was killed while on the assignment covering the conflict between Afghan and Taliban when he was ambushed near the border of Pakistan. It is unclear about the death of others present.
In 2018 he was the first Indian to with the Pulitzer Prize in feature photography alongside Adan Abidi and few others. They were credited for their work in documenting the violence faced by Myanmar’s Rohingya community.
Butterfly effect 🦋
Hello guys. Today’s topic is very interesting.
Have you guys ever heard about the 🦋 butterfly effect.
This theory is about how small changes effect the larger outcome. It describes how the occurrence of large events is due to the small changes or small events that occur.
This metaphor was created by Ray Bradbury in 1952 from a story called the sound of thunder. This story is about how a butterfly’s death in past could cause a very big and impactful change in the future

Butterfly effect is the sensitive dependence on initial conditions in which a small change in one state of a deterministic nonlinear system can result in large differences in a later state.
We can observe small details in our nature and how those small things are affecting the whole new and big outcome that is destined to take place.

Although this butterfly effect is used in terms of weather prediction and also it’s traces can be seen in lorenz’s computerized weather model but nothing could be proven as weather was impossible to predict due to this small instance of butterfly effect.
To prove this theory he used butterfly analogy
The concept is imagined with a butterfly flapping its wings and causing a typhoon but in real it’s flapping cannot cause a big typhoon but they act as catalyst that is they change the rate at which any act is taking place on starting conditions.
To make it more simpler when butterfly flaps its wings it causes an small atmospheric pressure which can cause changes in the typhoons trajectory but cannot create a typhoon

This butterfly concept is like an unknown variable in a complex theory where nothing can be predicted but assures us of it existence which cannot be explained simply.
Many script writers got inspired by this theory and many films were made based on it.

But isn’t fascinating that a minute thing is the reason that effects gigantic things , that is its small existence is a big part how the changes taking place in a big thing.
Science is simply the word we use to describe a method of organising our curiosity

Thankyou^^.

MOM – THE DIVINE SOUL!!!
Have anyone seen God in person? I think many of us would answer, No. But the right thing is everyone is seeing God daily in face of our mother. Yes, she is a unique gift, God had given to us. Am I right, now? In precise, she is the world’s precious gift which God have given to us. The feeling which we get when we are with our mother is the true divine feel that can be felt when we pray to God. None of us might say, I don’t like my mother, right? I can answer this myself. No one would say, I don’t like my mother. Though we don’t say anything to her, should would find what happened to us. And ask us what had happened. This is the divine feel of motherhood. Have you ever thought how things are hard to your mother?

The happiest feeling in this world is that a girl is carrying an another life in her. Yes, that feel cannot be bought buy money. Do you know how happy a mother would be when she is carrying her child in her uterus? Eventhough, she doesn’t know whether you are a boy or a girl, she had began to love you already. The only soul who loved you since the day you began to grow in her belly, is definitely your mother. She cannot eat the food she likes, or to lead her normal life. She lives in a dream world while she is carrying you. A survey says that the pain of childbirth is equal to jumping from the highest palce and even it is equal to the crushing of all the bones in your body. The pain we say that I was cheated by someone, hurt by someone, etc., can we say this pain is equal to the pain your mother endured during your birth? No. This labor pain cannot be expressed in words. A mother risk her life to give birth to her child and let him/her see this beautiful world. Everyone in the world can be selfish, greedy and picky but not our mom. She has never been greedy or selfish because she had you. After birth, she gives her blood as milk that’s been the food to us. No matter whatever heights we reach and whatever we do, this life and body is given by her. A mother would do anything to make her child feel happy and secure.
No matter how tired she is or how sick she is, the first word come from her mouth would be have you eaten? This shows that nothing matters more than you. Do you know how late she sleep and how early she wake up? Many don’t know, because they haven’t noted this! The next thing is giving the things that we want. If you want anything to eat, without any hesitation she make and give you, right? She doesn’t care whether she likes it or not!. She just want us to be happy and healthy. Sometimes, she used to eat the leftovers and sleep with a half-filled stomach. Mother is the one who teach us what is good and what is wrong in everything. She will correct the mistakes that we make.
After marriage, all the girls, you would be able to feel that motherhood is a gift to us. Yes, motherhood is the unique gift given by god to us. We feel sorry for the child without a mother and a mother without a child. Motherhood is same for everyone. Even the sterile women have the feeling of motherhood. So, stop judging women by their fertile or sterile nature. Let me ask you a quuestion. If your mother has gone out in the morning and haven’t been back to home for a day what would you do? Obivously, you would search for her right. This shows how you love your mother and how the bond between you two is! Think about a child without mother? Not having a mother is the only thing they would regret throughout their life. I hope you would have understood how mother is important in your life!
Don’t hurt or scold or argue with your mother for some silly things and don’t make her feel upset about it. Because there are children longing for mother’s love. Cherish this wonderful gift, God have given to you. Cherish your mom as high as you can. At last, Mom-the divine soul, this title suits this article right? God is in the face of your mother. Make you mother feel happy for you. Spare some time, talk to her. This would be the great gift that you give her.
“The White Tiger”- Class Struggle from a Humorous Perspective
“The White Tiger” (2008), a Man Booker Prize winner novel by Arvind Adiga is his debut novel.
Compelling, angry and darkly humorous. The White Tiger is an unexpected journey into a new journey into a new India. Adiga is a talent to watch. -Mohsin Hamid
The story revolves around Balram Halwai- a self declared “self-made entrepreneur”, a rickshaw puller’s son who skillfully climbs India’s social ladder to become a chauffer and later a successful businessman.
The novel is in epistolary form. He writes from his office in Bengaluru to Chinese officer Premier wen Jiabo with the goal of telling him about India.
The novel’s specialty is the simple language used to describe complex political and social theories. Balram belongs to the village Laxmangarh or “Darkness”, as he names it. Throughout the novel, we get to see Balram’s perspective of rich and poor. He is the psychopath-anti hero who killed his employer Mr. Ashok. He justifies his actions in the whole process.
“You can take almost anything you hear about our country from the prime minister and turn it upside down and then you will have then you will have truth thing.”
Balram in his letter
The subtle statements arouse emotions of humour and also give the facts. The novel is written in the tradition of ‘expose writing’. This uses plots as a means to examine social institutions. Balram’s dark comic provides an ironic yet emotional edge to the work. Balram holds positive view of the caste system. He expresses a significant degree of nostalgia praising the orderliness. In his mind people were struck where they were and considered it as the natural state. So there was a general sense of satisfaction.
On this context he puts forward the theory of Rooster Coop. It is Balram’s metaphor for describing oppression of India’s poor class. Roosters in a coop watch the other get slaughtered, but are unwilling to rebel and break out of the coop. He actively argues that poor stop each other from escaping. Therefore the Rooster Coop is guarded from inside- thinks Balram.
Animal imagery is yet another humorous aspect to illustrate the flaws in social conditions. The four landlords who oppressed the villagers are namely The Stork, The Buffalo, The Raven and The Wild Boar. These landlords resemble the characteristics of respective animals. The other names are The Mongoose and Country Mouse.
And then, thanks to all the politicians in Delhi, on the fifteenth of August 1947, the day British left- the cages had been let open… Those were the hungriest, ferocious, had eaten everyone else up and grown big bellies.
The statement draws connection between the animals and how people of India live.
