Monophobia-Reality of 2021

People were hurt financially as well as mentally by the prolonged lockdown. The truth is that financial losses can be recovered over time, but the mental disease that our generation is experiencing is not.

Covid-19 claimed the lives of around 3,923,238 people worldwide. Every day’s news digest about medical supply shortages and increasing covid instances broke people’s hearts. Such dire conditions were not restricted to those in hospitals; those in their safe havens of their homes were also not safe as they confronted a terrifying invisible monster spreading its arms and doing harm to their mental health.

Monophobia is the state where an individual fears to be alone. Even in a usually comforting place like home, can cause severe anxiety for people with this condition. People with monophobia need another person or other people around in order to feel safe. A person with this condition usually faces extreme anxiety.

With the outbreak of the pandemic, practically all offline work moved online, and people needed time to acclimatise to this new reality. Even after settling in, many struggled to overcome feelings of loneliness and worry that were gradually taking over their minds as a result of a lack of social contacts and physical meetings. It is now universally accepted that physical meetings had a higher level of significance and will always be more valued than any texts, calls or video conferencing.

Because of this lack of interaction, the majority of people now fear being alone. We now understand the value of being surrounded by people, such as family and friends. It’s depressing to learn that many people have committed suicide as a result of loneliness and anxiety issues.

Monophobia is a side effect of the post-lockdown situation. Following the Lockdown, harsh realisations emerged that life is unpredictable and far too valuable to be taken for granted.

So, what is the current need? It is self-evident that we must widen the doors of our hearts and accept others. Acceptance is crucial; it may aid your family member or friend in recovering and reliving their experiences. Inquire of your relatives, acquaintances, or even a new acquaintance “Are you all right? And if you ever need to share something, I’m here to help.”

Make yourself a better companion by being a little kind to the individuals you interact with. Stop passing judgement on people during such trying times; you never know what they are going through. Also take good care of your own self in order to help others. As more the merrier. healthier the better.

Geopolitics

Introduction

Geopolitics combines the the words Geo, referring Earth and Politics, is the study of the effects of Earth’s geography on politics and international relations. It can also be termed as the study of how political power is reinforced or undermined by geographical arrangements(boundaries, coalitions, spatial networks, natural resources etc.) At international relations level, geopolitics is a way of studying foreign policies, to understand, explain and predict the international political behaviours of the countries and their governments through various geographical variables. These variables include climate, topography, area studies, demographics and natural resources of the regions being evaluated.

Contents

Study of Geopolitics primarily focuses on political power linked to geographic space. Particularly, land territory and territorial waters in relation with diplomatic history. A branch of geopolitics, critical geopolitics, interprets different classical geopolitical theories by showing their political functions for the world’s great powers. There are even some works that follow the geopolitics of renewable energy. Finally, geopolitics clarifies the range of strategic choices, providing a guide for achieving strategic efficiency. While it places particular stress on geographic space as a critically important strategic factor and source of power, it recognizes that geography is only a part of the totality of global phenomena. There are many geopolitical case studies like the Kashmir conflict, Arctic Ocean disputes, China’s disputes in south China sea, US’s foreign policies, annexation of Crimea by Russia, ongoing conflicts in the Middle-East etc.

Future

In today’s world geopolitical studies are becoming more and more important in relations to international relations and diplomacy studies.

The Great Prithviraj Chauhan

Prithviraja III, famous as Prithviraj Chauhan, was one of the greatest Rajput rulers. He controlled many parts of the present-day Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh. Known for his valor, Prithviraj Chauhan is often praised as a brave Indian king, who stood up against the invasion of Muslim rulers. He is widely known as a warrior king and is credited for resisting the Muslim invaders with all his might. His defeat at the ‘Second battle of Tarain’ (1192) is considered as a key moment in the history of India as it opened the gates for Muslim invaders to rule the northern parts of India. Prithviraj is considered to be the greatest warrior of India, and also one of the greatest in the world. He succeeded to the throne of Ajmer at the age of thirteen, in 1179,when his father died in a battle. His grandfather Angam, ruler of Delhi, declared him heir to the throne of Delhi after hearing about his courage and bravery. He once killed a lion on his own without any weapon. He was known as the warrior king. Chauhan was the last independent Hindu king, before Hemu, to sit upon the throne of Delhi. He succeeded to the throne in 1169 CE at the age of 20, and ruled from the twin capitals of Ajmer and Delhi.

Early Life

According to ‘Prithviraja Vijaya,’ Prithviraj Chauhan had mastered as many as six languages. Another eulogistic poem, Prithviraj Raso, claims that Prithviraj was well-versed in many subjects, including mathematics, medicine, history, military, philosophy, painting, and theology. Both Prithviraj Raso and Prithviraja Vijaya state that Prithviraj was well-versed in archery as well. Other medieval biographies also suggest that Prithviraj Chauhan was educated well and was an intelligent boy right from his childhood. They also state that as a kid, Prithviraj displayed keen interest in warfare and was hence able to quickly learn some of the most difficult military skills quite early.

 Early Reign

Prithviraj ascended the throne when he was just 11 years old after the death of his father, Someshvara, in 1177 CE. At the time of his coronation, the young ruler had inherited a kingdom that extended from Sthanvishvara in the north to Mewar in the south. Since Prithviraj was still a minor when he ascended the throne, his mother, Karpuradevi, was made his regent. Karpuradevi, who was assisted by a regency council, managed the administration of the kingdom during Prithviraj’s early years as the king. During Prithviraj’s early reign, the young king was assisted by a couple of ministers, who find mention in ‘Prithviraja Vijaya.’ The poem states that Chief Minister Kadambavasa was an able administrator, who was devoted to the king. It also states that Kadambavasa played an important role in many of Prithviraj’s victories during the early years of his reign. Another important minister who served in the court of Prithviraj during this time was Bhuvanaikamalla, a paternal uncle of Karpuradevi. Prithviraja Vijaya describes Bhuvanaikamalla as a valiant general.

Conflicts with Hindu Rulers

Nagarjuna – Nagarjuna was Prithviraj’s cousin and had revolted against the coronation of Prithviraj Chauhan. In an attempt to seek revenge and to flaunt his authority over the kingdom, Nagarjuna had captured the fort of Gudapura. Prithviraj proved his military prowess by besieging Gudapura. It was among the earliest military achievements of Prithviraj.

Bhadanakas – After suppressing his cousin Nagarjuna’s revolt, Prithviraj turned towards the neighboring kingdom of the Bhadanakas. Since Bhadanakas often posed the threat of capturing the area around present-day Delhi, which belonged to Chahamana dynasty, Prithviraj decided to annihilate the nearby kingdom.

Chandelas of Jejakabhukti – According to certain inscriptions in Madanpur, Prithviraj defeated Paramardi, a powerful Chandela king, in 1182 CE. Prithviraj’s victory against the Chandelas increased the number of his enemies and also forced the Chandelas to join forces with the Gahadavalas.

Chaulukyas of Gujarat – Though the conflict between Prithviraj’s kingdom and the Chaulukyas of Gujarat finds mention in history, many references made in Prithviraj Raso seem to be unreliable, given the exaggerated nature of the poem. However, a few reliable sources do mention about a peace treaty between Bhima II of the Chaulukyas and Prithviraj Chauhan, which implies that the two kingdoms were at war.

Gahadavalas of Kannauj – According to a popular legend from Prithviraja Vijaya, Ain-i-Akbari, and Surjana-Charita, Prithviraj Chauhan came in conflict with another powerful king, Jayachandra, who ruled the Gahadavala kingdom. The legend has it that Prithviraj eloped with Jayachandra’s daughter Samyogita (Samyukta) in a rather dramatic manner. Since the incident is mentioned in three reliable sources, historians R. B. Singh and Dasharatha Sharma say that there might be some truth in the story, though it is largely viewed as a mere legend.

Battles of Tarain

A massive territory to the west of the Chahamana dynasty was ruled by Muhammad of Ghor, who wanted to expand his empire towards the east. In order to do so, Muhammad of Ghor had to defeat Prithviraj Chauhan and hence, he waged a war against the Chahamanas. Though many legends claim that Prithviraj and Muhammad of Ghor fought many battles, historians confirm that at least two battles were fought between the two. Since they were fought near the town of Tarain, they later came to be known as ‘Battles of Tarain.’

Death

After capturing Prithviraj Chauhan, Muhammad of Ghor reinstated him as a Ghurid vassal. This theory is supported by the fact that coins issued by Prithviraj after the battle of Tarain had his own name on one side and Muhammad’s name on the other. According to several sources, Prithviraj was later killed by Muhammad of Ghor for treason. However, the exact nature of the treason differs from one source to another.

How to maintain healthy relationship with yourself

If you’re searching for that one person that will change your life, take a look in the mirror. The relationship with self defines our inner world, and the way we process information and respond to events in life. Being a great friend to yourself unlocks long-term happiness. Finding a way to stay centered can be invaluable. One way that is beneficial in establishing balance is developing a positive relationship with oneself. Your relationship with yourself is arguably the most important relationship in life.

What does a healthy relationship with yourself look like?

A healthy self-relationship is the ability to value yourself as a person, and embrace your strengths and weaknesses.

Here are five ideas on cultivating a good relationship with yourself :

  1. Regularly make time for yourself.

It is very crucial to interact with yourself. Sit quietly for 10 minutes in the morning with your first cup of coffee. But if your mornings are too hectic then try meditation in the evening or even better you could write a  journal.

  1. Check in with yourself

It’s easy to find yourself wondering, “I don’t know who I am anymore”, if you don’t check in every now and then.

Question yourself everyday, “How am I feeling? What am I struggling with? What am I interested in? What are my goals?” Come up with a list of questions like these that you can routinely quiz yourself with, so you get a sense of where you’ve been, where you are now and where you are going.

Self-awareness is key to improvement.

  1. Accept yourself

Part of having a relationship with yourself is understanding who you are and accepting the good and the bad. It is extremely important that you learn to forgive yourself and avoid being overly critical. Acknowledge your strengths and give yourself a pat on the back when you are successful.

  1. Be your own friend

It’s important to evaluate  the relationship you have with yourself. Ask yourself, what can I do to make my day-to-day life easier? It could be something as small as reflecting on a mistake you have recently made and taking the time to sort through it. What could you have done differently? How can you keep that from happening again?

It is extremely vital to reason with yourself, it gives you perspective and clarity about your life choices.

  1. Enjoy your company

You need to show yourself that you can be happy and have fun without relying on others to experience it with you. Not that you need to shut people out, but you can keep yourself occupied in healthy ways to discover things and laugh with yourself.

You will be your only constant throughout your life. People will come and go. Some relations will last a long time, some won’t. In this life of hustle, one thing that should never take for granted is yourself. Always remember to be kind to yourself.

Eve Teasing In India

‘Women belong to the weaker elements of the community,’ some remark. As a result, men dominate women and, at times, exploit women for their own amusement. Women are subjected to a wide range of forms of harassment. Sexual harassment is a widespread form of harassment in many regions of the world. Harassment of women in public areas by known and unknown individuals is referred to as eve teasing in India. Eve teasing literally means to bother or disturb women. It is defined as the act of harassing women, whether intentionally or unintentionally, physically or psychologically, in order to amuse, irritate, provoke, annoy, or embarrass them by words, statements, gestures, jokes, physical contact, and taunts. It is a distinct and euphemistic word for South Asia, particularly India. It is not used in the United Kingdom or other European countries.

More and more female students, women, and others are attending educational institutions, workplaces, and other places, and their safety is critical in a civilised and cultured society. The experiences of women and girls in overcrowded buses, metros, and trains are harrowing and terrible. Women now have positions of leadership in practically every industry, but eve teasing remains a social issue. Women are physically, psychologically, and socially impacted. They are embarrassed and would wish to forget the occurrence. Those who are impacted by eve teasing never question the man or resist the behaviour; instead, they play a subservient and tolerant attitude because they believe it will further tarnish their reputation.

FACTS AND FIGURES- According to the NCRB 2019(National Crime Record Bureau) report, a total of 4,05,861 occurrences of crime against women were registered in 2019, representing a 7.3 percent increase over 2018. (3,78,236 cases). The majority of instances under IPC crime against women were reported under ‘cruelty by spouse or his family’ (30.9), followed by ‘assault on women with purpose to violate her modesty’ (21.8%), ‘kidnapping & abduction of women’ (17.9%), and ‘rape’ (17.9%). (7.9 percent ). According to the NCRB study, the crime rate per lakh women population in 2019 is 62.4, up from 58.8 in 2018. Sections 354 and 509 of the Indian Penal Code deal with eve-teasing cases, which show a 13.05 percent increase in assault or criminal force against a woman with the intent to outrage her modesty, and an 18.9 percent decrease in incidents of insulting a woman’s modesty, respectively, from 2015 to 2016.
As a deterrent, a growing number of college-aged women riding Delhi’s public transportation have resorted to carrying pins, pen blades, and even daggers. Others have enrolled in self-defense classes.

According to a recent survey, over 90% of college women in New Delhi had experienced sexual harassment in some form or another. Despite this, it is believed that only approximately 1 in 10000 cases of eve teasing are reported to the p olice.98 percent of women say sexual harassment on the road has harmed their personal or academic growth in some way. These facts may appear to be false and horrific, but they clearly demonstrate the predicament of women in India. Every day, the situation worsens.

HOW TO PREVENT– Many psychologists feel that sex, love, and enjoyment are not the main reasons why men engage in this behaviour. The patriarchal worldview of the Indian male is intimately linked to Eve teasing. Men are socialised to feel that they are more physically and emotionally powerful than women. They believe they are doing nothing wrong by simply having fun. It is also regarded as a growing social issue. This is due to many societal changes such as urbanisation, the influence of Western culture, modernization, and changes in the status of women’s roles, women’s freedom, and democratic changes. Eve teasing is perceived by society as a social deviance at the macro level and at individual micro level as a behaviour problem. Technology has ensured that the globe contracts and restricts itself within the confines of the internet. Technology can be one of the most effective means of putting an end to eve teasing. Set up SOS numbers for your loved ones. Keep the police help lines on speed dial and your GPS tracker turned on at all times. Download safety apps, learn how to use them correctly, and register on connected websites. This ensures that when you are in need, your close and dear ones will be able to reach you quickly. Being self-reliant means being able to defend yourself without the assistance of others. Self-reliance also entails cultivating an attitude and confidence such that a person thinks several times before even being around you, let alone touching or misbehaving. You can always learn martial arts or karate for this. Tae-Kwan-Do will also be used to settle the dispute. Be brave enough to ensure your own safety even if it means sacrificing your dignity.

Conclusion– Eve teasing is a violation of a woman’s honour, dignity, and self-respect. It is excruciatingly painful for her. It should be handled as a separate offence. To regulate it, we need rigorous laws and restrictions. There is an urgent need to address this rapidly rising issue. Eve-teasing may appear to be a less serious crime, but it can quickly escalate into a serious offence if not prevented in its early stages. In a country like India, where women are worshipped alongside the Gods, such behaviour toward women is unjust, unfair, and Hippocratic. We owe it to women to be respectful. Only then would we be on the path to happiness, prosperity, and success.

HOW TO FACE OUR TOMORROW

Ask yourself the above question.

There’s a myth revolving around us how to face our day to day life and socialize ourself. The answer is, in this generation the people lead a much sophisticated life which results lack of good qualities. Everyone does their everyone’s personal work and just move on. They just forgot to look up others.

As I already said if we have to face tomorrow we should be ready to face someone whose strange to us. Nowadays people just doesn’t know where to laugh as they always expose their emotions and expression only on social medias like Facebook, whatsApp, Instagram, twitter etc…, But the saddest truth is the friends we earn through online is not always available for us to cope up.

First we should make ourself stead in making and taking wise decision to get out of our today’s problems because the solution we get for today’s problems is the result of happiness that we enjoy for tomorrow.

We should practice to do our day to day work within the clock ends today as because every new day begins with every new challenge. We should ready to tackle and finish our race which is nothing but our toady.

This two quotes easily says how the time is important to us….

” The two most powerful warriors are patience and time” and” Time is money”.

So the answer for the biggest question HOW TO FACE TOMORROW gets its point on the day before that is TODAY itself. The smile you have today is the pain you gone through yesterday. Always be ready to get on and move on. Evaluation is constant.

Exploring Gender in Enid Blyton’s ‘Famous Five’

The Famous Five is a children’s adventure series written by the British author Enid Blyton. The first book The Five on a Treasure Island was published in the year (1942) after which 20 more books followed. With the sales totaling over a 100 million, it is considered to be an all-time best-seller in children’s literature. The series revolves around the lives of four children: Julian, Dick, Anne, Georgina (George), and her dog Timothy. Blyton’s portrayal of their carefree summers and adventures have always gained popularity among children. More often, Enid Blyton books are usually responsible for getting children interested in literature. Her use of simple language helps children easily understand the story. Her vibrant descriptions appeal to the readers in such a way that we long for adventures, matching the enthusiasm of the characters portrayed in her stories. Her storylines are intriguing and her peculiar way of dropping hints throughout the book which finally connects up as a shocking climax is always interesting.

“Far from being a set of fixed and stable values and roles assigned/imposed by society, gender is a performance or a role enacted by the individuals. This performance of gender is, of course, social in the sense that it is enacted, validated and accepted by the society.”

-Judith Butler (Gender Trouble)

In most cases, Blyton adheres to the dominant gender norms of her times; which is the Middle-class heteronormative British views which regulated the behaviour of women with respect to their appropriate domestic roles and activities for women like raising children and managing the household instead of careers. Blyton presents rather contradictory representation of gender roles. Mostly, she follows the dominant submissive roles of females but on the other hand, she also shows that there are alternatives where women have agency and freedom of choice. Her writing of ‘sexist’ characters are probably a result of suiting the story to the audiences of her time.

“Anne had a very happy morning. She arranged everything beautifully on the shelf… IT really was a splendid larder and dresser!… Then the little girl set to work to make the beds. She decided to make two nice big ones, one on each side of the cave.”

Five Run Away Together (1944)

Anne is described as someone who is shy and timid. She’s not as adventurous as her brothers Julian and Dick or like her cousin George. She does all the domestic chores and is often in charge their food and other domestic needs. She is referred to by her brothers as a “Very good little house keeper”. She likes playing ‘house’ and thus, voluntarily does all the chores during their quests and she likes doing it. And she is extremely happy when she’s praised for her work. She takes pride being referred to a good housekeeper. Despite being the youngest of the four, she is often portrayed as the nurturer and care-giver. She selflessly takes care of everyone’s needs and plays a mother-like figure to the rest of the group. George’s mother, Fanny is portrayed in a similar such way and serves as a role-model figure for Anne. It is a given that she’s the youngest and perhaps that’s one of the reasons why she is babied. But there’s a clear hint of patronisation when her brothers address her. Through Anne, Blyton firmly reinforces the typical female gender stereotype that women are supposed to be gentle, caring, nurturing and subservient housekeepers who are not fit for a career-based life.

“Don’t you simply hate being a girl?” asked George.

“No, of course not,” said Anne. “You see – I like pretty frocks – and I love my dolls – and you can’t do that if you’re a boy.”

“Pooh! Fancy bothering about pretty frocks,” said George, in a scornful voice. “And dolls! Well you are a baby, that’s all I can say.”

 Anne felt offended.

-Five on a Treasure Island (1942)

Blyton was a career woman, so her portrayal of George can be seen as her personal resistance to the dominant gender stereotype of her time. Georgina prefers to be called George, and is good at everything that is traditionally masculine like climbing trees, swimming, rowing boat, drawing carriages etc. She tries very hard to not be ‘girly’ and dresses up like a ‘boy’. In anyway, she wishes to be a boy as she prefers being called ‘Master’ instead of miss, loves it when people mistake her for a boy etc. It is evident that boys were valued more in the society than girls. And her desperate need to imitate a man can be seen a cry for help in an overtly patriarchal society. She wants to be treated with the same respect and dignity that her male cousins enjoy and so, she feels that the only means to achieve that is by imitating a man. On a separate note, many readers have read into George’s tomboyishness as signs of gender dysphoria. (Gender dysphoria involves a conflict between a person’s physical gender and the gender with which he, she or they identify with.)  So, the idea of a tomboy fails to take into account the more contemporary idea of gender as a spectrum rather than a rigid binary. Considering the time that this was written in, it is unlikely that this is what Blyton meant. But nevertheless, it is empowering to interpret that perhaps George is a transman; a boy trapped in a girl’s body.

George despises any characteristic of weakness that is usually associated with women. She seeks power and respect while Anne is contented with whatever the society is willing to give her. There is an instance where George gives into something and the boys praise her for giving in gracefully or decently like a boy. At this, George becomes extremely happy for being identified as a boy and she feels that “She didn’t want to be petty and catty and bear malice as so many girls did.” This can be seen as a perfect example of gender hierarchy where having a “decent” behaviour is normal only for boys and that it’s an exception for girls. George is admired by the rest for being good at physical activities. She excels to the point that she even threatens the authority of the dominant male leader by being better. There are several instances where she’s better at swimming or rowing than the boys. This skilled behaviour empowers Anne and in those instances; she longs and hopes to be as skilled as George. George is a successful, independent girl who can do anything that a boy can do, and do it better. This can be seen as Blyton’s attempt at empowering little girls.

While Anne takes pride in fulfilling her duties as the default nurturing housekeeper, George is expected to help her out and engage in these domestic chores as well. And this internalised social norm creates a feeling of guilt within George while no such guilt exists in the minds of the boys. Now even if the boys do offer help, Anne dismisses it off as “No. That’s my job and George’s.” Anne is easily scared and is seen as a cry-baby. The group takes it for granted that she’s emotional and weak and is in need of protection. George on the other hand, suppresses all of her emotions in fear that it’d show her as a ‘girl’ which was considered inferior. She hates crying as crying is seen as something that only girls do – a sign of weakness if expressed by a boy. Aside from effecting George, this also imposes an unrealistic and unhealthy emotional and mental standard on the boys. For instance, Dick is shamed for crying or expressing any emotions that are not ‘manly’. This also reinforces toxic masculine traits on young boys.

George thus imitates traditional masculinity as an attempt to receive equal treatments. She over-compensates in this aspect to desperately hide any traces of being a girl. To an extent, it does grant her more privileges than the feminine Anne but this comes out as a positive reinforcement on her, and it proves the masculine authority over women of the time. Despite all her attempts, the fact remains that she is still ‘just a girl’ and that she only receives the freedom that her male peers allow her to enjoy. No matter how much she tries to imitate men, she’s still othered by them.

We see a contradictory portrayal of gender roles by Blyton. All the criticisms aside, we can also interpret this as her way of showing that girls can choose to be either Anne or George or a mix of both. Anne might have been typecast as the stereotypical girly girl, but even if it’s because of the inherent social norms, she loves it. She unapologetically takes pride in being herself and doing things that she enjoys, even if the others ridicule her and tease her for being ‘too weak’. On the other hand, even though it reinforces male superiority, George’s unique character proves that girls can do anything that boys can and actually be better at it. For the time that it was written in, it is clear that Blyton intended George’s character as someone who breaks away from tradition. Thus, we see that Blyton offers different perspectives on how girls can choose to be.

The Three Types of Hackers

The term “hacker” is commonly linked with hackers with bad intent, although it encompasses much more. A hacker is someone who uses their computer software and hardware skills to break down and circumvent security measures on a computer, device, or network. Hacking is commonly thought to be criminal on principle, although this isn’t the case if the system owner willingly and knowingly gives access. In reality, many private companies and government agencies engage hackers to assist them in maintaining the security of their systems.

The motivations of an individual and the legality of their acts are the two key criteria that determine what type of hacker they are. Hackers are classified as white, black, or grey hats, a naming scheme borrowed from classic western films in which protagonists wore white hats and villains wore black.

1. Black Hat

Malware, which is routinely used to enter computerized networks and systems, is usually created by black hat hackers. They’re usually driven by personal or financial gain, but they’ll also engage in espionage, protests, or just for the pleasure of it. Black hat hackers can range from inexperienced to highly skilled individuals with the goal of spreading malware and stealing private data such as login passwords, as well as financial and personal information. Black hat hackers can either steal, modify, or destroy system data after they gain access to their targets, depending on their motivations.

2. White Hat

They’re also known as “ethical hackers,” and they’re frequently hired or hired by businesses and government agencies to operate as security specialists looking for flaws. While they use the same techniques as black hat hackers, they always receive authorization from the system’s owner, ensuring that their actions are fully legal. Penetration tests, monitoring in-place security systems, and vulnerability assessments are all tactics used by white hat hackers. Independent sources, training, conferences, and certifications can all be utilized to understand ethical hacking, which is the word used to define the nature of a white hat hacker’s conduct.

3. Grey Hat

As the term implies, these individuals combine elements of both black and white hat hackers, although they will frequently look for weaknesses in a system without the consent or knowledge of the owner. They’ll notify the owner of any problems they see, but they’ll also ask for money or an incentive. If the owner does not reply or rejects their proposal, a grey hat hacker may take advantage of the newly discovered problems. Grey hat hackers aren’t evil by nature, but they do want to be compensated for their services. Because grey hat hackers do not have authority from the system’s owner to access the system, their acts are ultimately regarded illegal, regardless of whatever disturbing findings they may uncover.

What is an IP Address? An Overview

A device on the internet or a local network is identified by its IP address, which is a unique address. The Internet Protocol (IP) is a set of rules that govern how data is transmitted across the internet or a local network. IP addresses, in essence, are the identifiers that allow data to be transmitted between devices on a network: they contain location information and make devices reachable for communication. The internet requires a method of distinguishing between various computers, routers, and webpages. IP addresses are a crucial aspect of how the internet operates and provide a means of doing so.

What is an IP?

A string of integers separated by periods makes up an IP address. IP addresses are made up of four numbers; for example, 192.158.1.38 is an example address. The set’s numbers can vary from 0 to 255. As a result, the entire IP addressing range is 0.0.0.0 to 255.255.255.255.

IP addresses are not generated at random. The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), a part of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, creates and assigns them mathematically (ICANN). ICANN is a non-profit organisation based in the United States that was founded in 1998 to assist keep the internet secure and accessible to everyone. Every time someone registers a domain name on the internet, they do so through a domain name registrar, who pays ICANN a nominal fee to do so.

How do IP addresses work

It helps to understand how IP addresses function if you want to figure out why a device isn’t connecting the way you want it to or if you want to troubleshoot why your network isn’t working. Internet Protocol communicates in the same manner that any other language does, by following a set of rules to convey information. This protocol is used by all devices to find, send, and share information with other connected devices. Any computer in any area can communicate with one another if they speak the same language.

IP addresses are most commonly used behind the scenes. The procedure is as follows:

  1. Your device connects to the internet indirectly by first connecting to a network linked to the internet, which then allows your device internet access.
  2. That network will most likely be your Internet Service Provider when you are at home (ISP). It will be your workplace network at work.
  3. Your Internet service provider (ISP) assigns an IP address to your device.
  4. Your internet activity passes through your ISP, which uses your IP address to deliver it back to you. It is their responsibility to issue an IP address to your device because they are providing you with internet connection.
  5. Your IP address, on the other hand, may change. Turning your modem or router on or off, for example, can make a difference. You can also contact your ISP and get it changed for you.
  6. Your home IP address does not go with you while you are out and about – for example, when you travel – and you take your device with you. This is because you will be accessing the internet through a different network (Wi-Fi at a hotel, airport, or coffee shop, for example) and will be allocated a different (temporary) IP address by the hotel, airport, or coffee shop’s ISP.

DAD’S DAUGHTER- GRIEF OF A LITTLE GIRL

” The sight of my old pencil art of a little girl holding index finger of her dad made me to travel into my past. Dad saw true mastery in my scribblings. I think he is the only person who will be good to us. The doll becomes dull, in his absence. Girls are much connected to their dad but I had spent portable time with my dad. Every daughter feels her dad as a hero. In my issue he is not only a hero, but he is also a board of support, the spark in my gapes and shine in my smile. He is the man behind us as a guide and beside us as a friend.

Dad’s are not only heads of our family but also honey to our mom and king to his princess just like a nerve vagus in our body. Dad while remembering all the naughty things, a cute smile on my face suddenly disappeared when I turned the other page of my drawing book. The same art but with out you, tugged me back to reality. I do remember that day started pleasantly and ended with grief.

As soon as we came to know about the covid positive result of my dad, he isolated from us and maintained taking medication through online. Exactly after three days of his isolation he undergone into serious condition, that he is not able to take breathing properly and we admitted my dad in a hospital. We are in a hope that he will get cured soon and will return to our home but our expectations went wrong.

My mom received a call from the hospital after a day of admitting my dad which made my thoughts to run high. My breath stooped for a while before I complete my prayer. Dad, I saw you without any eternity in your body and that environment ceased my brain. It couldn’t send any messages to my tear glands. Suddenly my throat loaded and I felt heavy. I feared to see you like that dad. My mom hold me tightly. Tears gushed from one eye. My room knows how much I cried. It’s my palm that zipped my every killing tear.

I not only lose my dad but also my friend and my strength. It’s unfair dad, you must not leave your little girl. The three months of my journey with out you made me to feel alone. Please come back dad!! I need you . Society seems too outrageous, your girl is confronting with hurdles every day. Immense pain produce no rips, storing all the pain inside the flush box and pressed my expression with throated emotions. “

The above write-up is the pain of a little girl who lost her dad due to covid-19 pandemic. There are several families around us lost their loved ones because of this pandemic. The death one’s is one of the worst tragedies in life. The pain of those families is speech less.

Finally, I wish to say that we cannot bring back the people who left us physically but we can help their families by supporting them during the emotional hardship to make them feel safe and strong.

” PLEASE FOLLOW THE COVID-19 GUIDELINES STRICTLY TO STOP THE SPREAD OF VIRUS”
